I wish there were more candles and bath stuff boxes, just in general.

After seeing all of these sky high priced advent calendars, I feel a little less guilty about spending 50.00 on the upcoming Fortune Cookie Soap advent calendar. It’ll be a gift to myself and probably all I can afford this year. I’ve let my Pusheen and Ipsy boxes go in order to cut costs, but I use every item in my FCS boxes and like supporting smaller companies in these difficult times. I’d love to pick one up at a deep, deep discount, so I’ll keep checking back……

Penny, the small Body Shop advent calendar is $69 and has more bath/beauty than makeup. Looks pretty good

Thanks Jen, for the heads up. But I’m bummed now.😕 Sadly, there will be no 249.00 fancy votive candle advent calendars in my future. Way outta my budget. If anyone knows of a one time holiday type purchase in the 50-75 dollar range that is NOT makeup heavy (a few things are ok, but I’m more of a skincare, perfume gal) I would appreciate any suggestions.

I’m not on their Facebook group so IDK, but I enjoyed last years box and my first Halloween box arrived last week and was pretty good as well. They seem pretty popular and the price point is affordable for a one time purchase. Fingers crossed! 🤞

I posted once, not sure where it went.. FCS decided they couldn’t do an advent calendar this year. They posted on their FCS VIP facebook page a couple of weeks ago. I’m so sad about this!

Jen

FCS posted on FB a few days ago that they cannot do the advent calendar this year 😭 covid was making it difficult to obtain materials and ship in a timely manner. I’m so sad about this!

Beth

Ohhhh I’m getting this thanks!!!

Love it

What are these companies thinking? Almost everyone is this country has suffered income loss this year, without a reduction in expenses (rent, food, utilities). I feel guilty for spending $26.75 on ipsy every month, and my cat can’t have dental surgery because my credit cards are almost maxed just to live. Maybe the companies with high-price advent calendars will get the message when these things don’t sell like they did last year.

Priorities 🙄

I guess it wouldn’t be an Advent calendar without “Jesus Christ!” at the end.
