Natasha Denona Eyeshadow Palette 5 #4 Sample Moonstone Eyeshadow, 0.4 g - Estimated Value $1.54 (Buy the full palette for $48)
Of the colors shown in the palette, I'm glad they sent a sample of Moonstone! It's such a pretty, shimmer neutral that's classic and versatile and looks great on everybody. The formula has good pigmentation, but you have to be careful about fallout because it felt very soft. That's not a bad thing necessarily; it just means that you have to be sure to tap off the extra product before putting onto your lids or you might end up with some shimmery under-eyes from the excess powder falling during application. I'll definitely use this little shadow up! It's great alone or as a base color plus a crease + corner shade for a complete eye look.

amika products always smell so good! If this mask did nothing else, I would still use it to infuse the fragrance into my hair. But it does do something! I was really happy to see my hair looked smoother, shinier, and softer than my usual sans-hair-mask washes. My favorite thing about this? It takes 60 seconds! As a mom of 3 small humans, I usually don't have time in the shower to sit and let a 10-minute mask sink in. Plus, I should be able to get 2-4 uses out of this. This is a win for me!

Fenty Beauty by Rihanna Full Frontal Volume, Lift, & Curl Mascara, 0.05 fl oz - Estimated Value $2.88 (Buy a 0.42 fl oz full size for $24)
I think I'm going to have to play with this mascara a few more times, but my first impression is pretty good! I like the formula, but the brush is different than any I'd used before. It's a flat oval, like a paddle. So either I'm brushing my lashes with a thin, fuzzy side, or pressing against them with a wide, flat side. Personally, I prefer spiky brushes that let me really get in between the lashes and separate them. However, I'm happy with the end result so, as I said, I think I just have to play with it! As for the formula, it's a good, opaque black and it didn't clump at all! I also had no issue with it smudging under my eyes.

fresh Rose Petal-Soft Deep Hydration Lip Balm, 0.07 oz - Estimated Value $5.60 (Buy the 0.3 oz full size for $24)
This lip balm by fresh is so soft and hydrating! It definitely instantly softens my lips. I don't tend to love the scent of rose, but this is mild and light. I love how comfortable it is and it gives my lips a natural sheen. I just don't love applying this with my fingers - I never have liked balms like that require me to put whatever is on my hands on my lips, and I am especially against the idea these days! Because of this, I think I'll keep it with my makeup and apply with a small plastic skincare spatula instead of tossing it in my bag for use on-the-go.

Maison Margiela Replica Beach Walk, 0.2 fl oz - Estimated Value $7.65 (Buy a 3.4 oz for $130)
This is the item I was most excited about because this is one of my favorite perfumes! And, admittedly, I'm obsessed with mini glass perfume bottles like this. It's a fresh, balanced floral made to evoke the scent of salt air, sunscreen, and summer days. It has notes of bergamot, heliotrope, coconut, lemon, and musk. I love this.

Lord Jones High CBD Formula Body Lotion in Fragrance Free, 0.16 fl oz - Estimated Value $3.79 (Buy a 1.69 full size for $40)
This is the only item in this box that I know I'm not going to use. I just don't like it because it doesn't do anything for me. I appreciate unscented and "clean" lotions, but the formula itself just disappears right away on my skin. I applied it to a patch on my (unmoisturized) leg and then a couple of minutes later ran my hand down my leg and couldn't even tell a difference where I had put it. Same for the back of my hands. It's worth noting that I have a dry complexion and I love thicker, more intense creams and lotions. I also don't tend to have red or irritated skin that the CBD in this is meant to help. If you have oily skin that needs calming, this might work differently for you. It's simply not right for me!

The Verdict: I am really happy with this Sephora Favorites POP Beauty Cred box! I think everything is a good size and the selected items reflect the theme of "buzz-y, trending" items. I'm always giddy about a generously sized, glass-bottled perfume sample! Plus, the hair mask pleasantly surprised me, and I am glad to get multiple uses from the sample. I will use all of the eyeshadow, the mascara was new to me and I was happy with its performance, and the lip mask is one of my favorites! I know I wasn't thrilled with the lotion, but even considering that, I'm glad I snagged this box. It's a solid Sephora Favorites kit - especially if you can snag it with free shipping so you only pay $15.
