Nourish Beauty Box September 2020 Review

LĒNUS No. 94 Fine Wrinkle Oil Serum in Nourishing, 0.5 fl oz – Retail Value $26.00

I’ve reached a point in my life where I am now officially a 30-year-old lady. My greatest fear has changed from monsters under the bed to crow’s feet around my eyes… AHHHHHH! This LĒNUS No. 94 Fine Wrinkle Oil Serum may just be the answer to my prayers. I’ve tried lots of eye creams and serums, but with this particular serum, I noticed a difference right away. The treated area around my eyes felt smoother and softer right after application. The product absorbed quickly and didn’t leave behind any sticky or greasy texture. I’m excited to try this long-term and see if adding No. 94 to my nightly skincare routine results in any drastic visible changes. The product is a blend of cold-pressed exotic oils and formulated with powerful, nourishing anti-aging ingredients like evening primrose, pomegranate, and buriti. The serum has a light holistic and herbaceous scent that makes you feel like you just left the spa. I had never heard of the brand LĒNUS prior to receiving Nourish Beauty Box, but they have quickly become one of my favorite skincare lines. All-natural, fragrance-free, clean quality products. Have you tried the No. 10 moisturizing sunscreen? I highly recommend this brand!

EMANATE ESSENTIALS Cami Rose Exfoliating Grains, 2.0 oz – Retail Value $18.50

Okay, now this is really innovative. I don’t know if it’s just me, but I have never tried a powder foaming cleanser like this. The EMANATE ESSENTIALS Cami Rose Exfoliating Grains is a unique gentle foaming cleanser packed with an ultra-fine all-natural exfoliator. I just poured a little in my hand and added some water to form a creamy paste. The super fine exfoliator sloughed off any dead skin cells while the cleanser washed away any oils and grime from the day. My skin felt smooth, soft, and clean without that dry, tight feeling overly harsh cleansers can give. The product has a light, sweet oat scent that gave me delicious brunch vibes. This multi-functional powder can be used with different types of liquid or ratio of liquid to create either a gentle cleanser, deep exfoliator, or a bubble masque treatment. This product is formulated with all organic and natural ingredients, such as oat powder, brown rice, and coconut.

Nourish Naturals Tinted Lip Serum in Happiness Swatch for Nourish Beauty Box September 2020

NOURISH NATURALS Tinted Lip Serum in “Happiness”, 4 mL – Retail Value $16.00

This NOURISH NATURALS Tinted Lip Serum in “Happiness” is what I would call a triple threat. Not only is it incredibly hydrating and healthful to your lips, but it also smells wonderfully delicious and lightly tints your lips for some added natural-looking color. The rosy pink of the shade “Happiness” gives your mouth an absolutely kissable finish. It’s formulated with an enriching, potent blend of jojoba, sunflower, and safflower oils, and shea butter. This handy serum has become my go-to pre-Zoom meeting. Lips feeling a little dry after I throw that blazer on over my pajama pants? No problem; I slap a little of this on and bam, I’m that gal everyone thinks woke up at the crack of dawn to look like this.

LA BLOOM BEAUTY Nail Oil Pen, 3 mL – Retail Value $16.00

Now, let’s be honest; COVID has jacked up all our nails. You know it and I know it. My nails look like garbage. In walks LA BLOOM BEAUTY Nail Oil Pen. This nail oil is for your nails and cuticles and for use on your hands and toes. My cuticles are a little crusty and cracked in places. This oil felt really nice as I smoothed it onto the whole nail, under the nail, and around my cuticles. Formulated with key ingredients like lemon, sweet orange, and sweet almond oils, this product not only lightens and brightens nail fibers but it also breaks down any gunk on your nails. My nails looked instantly healthier and a little shinier directly after application and the oil absorbed quickly and didn’t leave behind any excess oiliness. I don’t know how often I’m going to remember to use this product, but it’s definitely something I now realize I should be using. The product has a soft bristle brush with a convenient twist applicator that allows you to control the amount of product you use.

Verdict: I enjoyed all the products in this month’s Nourish Beauty Box. HUGE fan of the LĒNUS No. 94 Fine Wrinkle Oil Serum. Take that, crow’s feet! I also really like the EMANATE ESSENTIALS Cami Rose Exfoliating Grains. I love how the product activates with water and uses ultra-fine exfoliators to reveal my best skin, and the scent is so unique and different from other facial cleansers. I’m happy to receive the LA BLOOM BEAUTY Nail Oil Pen. It’s definitely something my nails could use but not necessarily something I would go out and purchase for myself or even know that I needed. I love how the oil soothes my irritated cuticles and gives my nails a healthy looking shine. Lastly, the NOURISHING NATURALS Tinted Lip Serum in “Happiness.” I love the color, I love the scent, and I love the hydration this product provides. Overall, I think all the products were great and I love this box. I noticed this month’s retail value is a little lower than in the past, with a total value of $76.50, but I think Nourish Beauty Box subscribers will still be satisfied with the quality of the items included.

I’m a sheet mask loving, skincare obsessed, animal loving foodie. If I’m not waiting for the mailman to bring me some new subscription box, I’m probably working out, writing, or getting cursed out by my parrot. P.S. He was a rescue; I didn’t teach him that.

  1. Really enjoy your review! Your tone of writing makes me feel like I’m right there with you, it’s so nice. This looks like a fantastic box, I think I might go back and look at some of the past reviews. I’m really intrigued by the cuticle oil and the eye serum. Especially the eye serum since you loved it so quickly. Usually it takes me a while to decide my feelings about anti aging eye products but the one in the box sounds amazing. Plus, being able to feel good about the ingredients is such a major plus. When my hands get dry, which they are all of the time now, I get hang nails that are constantly getting caught on things and they hurt! Sounds like a cuticle oil would be perfect for that and I love that it’s in this portable packaging. See how easily I convince myself I need things?! 🤣🤦🏻‍♀️

    • Thanks Katie, I am seriously loving reviewing on this platform! The community you have here is amazing❤️ I have the same issues with my cuticles, I pull on the hang nails and then they bleed ahhhhh but this nail oil is helping so far and the portable dispenser is great!

  2. Did anyone else have and expired oil? Mine says best by June of 20 and it didn’t really smell very good, although not all oils do.

    • Hey Jessica, I noticed the same date discrepancy on my oil as well. I contacted the company on IG, the owner answered be herself, she apologized and told me the labels were misprinted and the product is safe to use through the next year, I’ve been using every night and so far so good👍🏾

  3. I need not one more thing in my life right now, but you really make me want this box.

    • 😂😂🤣🤣sorry Randie

  4. Great review! Naomi, I love your writing style … I can clearly hear your “voice” as if you were sitting next to me telling me about the products. You’re so funny! I agree with Cindy, your lips look amazing! I have a couple glosses from Nourish Beauty and they smell awesome.

    • Thanks Amy! I love writing and I’m so happy you are enjoying my take the subscription box life lol. Yessss, this lip gloss/serum legit smelled like delicious cake!

  5. Love my September box and love your review. As an artist and ranch gal, my nails stay jacked up all the time lol! The oil pen is super. Nourish has had some great boxes this year. Top shelf, they are!

    • Wow Alice! That’s incredible, what kind of art do you create? Do you have an IG?

      • Hi, Naomi! I do photography, pencil/marker/paint/ink/various mediums art, handwoven beaded jewelry! I’m on FB, will have to look into IG!

    • Yesssss, insane creativity! If you have an art page you’re comfortable sharing let me know. I’d love to support ❤️🥰

  6. Wow, not to sound weird, but you have beautiful lips

    • I was thinking the Exact same thing!!!
      They are just beautiful 😍

      • Thank you❤️❤️❤️

    • Omg Cindy!!! Thank you❤️❤️❤️that made my day lol
