  1. Thanks for the info Luna, and the response. I thought it was me, I’ll keep my eyes open 🙂

  2. Love the brand, they make one of my favorite perfumes in the world, but at this price point, I’d rather just shop there and get a few full sized things. Travel sizes are overwhelming and I’m not guaranteed to like every scent. The packaging is very nice though.

  3. I got the Feel Unique, Look Fantastic, Jo Malone but waiting on Harrods as I have been unable to check out

    • You too?!? I was afraid I was the only one having difficulty buying the Harrod’s calendar (even though there’s no issues with my cards)! I only tried twice today, but I’ll try again tomorrow in the morning & afternoon.

  4. Oh if only I could spend this much money I’d speed it all on Aurelia Probiotics products!

    • I love that brand too!

  5. I spat my coffee everywhere when I got to the price …seriously I mean seriously $425 +tax these advent calendars are ridiculously expensive!

  6. Is this sold out already? I don’t see it on their site.

  7. I’m going to keep my $425 plus tax in my pocket 💖 Truth be told my favorite scent of all time is a $5 perfume oil that blends magically with me and I get all the compliments on it. I love it. It’s perfect. I mean its magically perfect. Never have I found anything as special as that smell. I only get it in my tiny record shop down town though.

I have a perfume stash. I collected quite a bit of perfume for free from Sephora by using promo codes, points and collecting samples. I have a massive amount of every brand in tons of scents. I don’t use them often. Something like this just feels wasteful at this point.

I’m 30 years old and just feel so over stocked on everything 😵 Why we always need more and more and more stuff?

Right now it’s hair care for me.. Expensive hair care. I’d drop $500 on hair care asap. And ugh.. I know the stuff from Wal-Mart works just as good as name brands from Sephora. Lol

  8. I told myself because of The state of the world, this year the price would NOT be $425… Guess the House of Jo Malone is the winner as I’m waitlisted for another box … this box never gets priced down after the season either … I ain’t gonna lie I got the sads… 😚

  9. I Jo Malone is a pricey brand, but that is a LOT of money considering nothing is full sized.

  10. Wow, what a price tag! It is good stuff, but that is a lot of money.

  11. Wow, this stuff must be really good. Glad I get to try it in the Macy’s box. No way am I spending this much.

  12. Hey Luna, are you going to get this one this year?

    • Hi Abby! 🙂
No, I’ll be passing. My mom is really into Jo Malone, so I usually restock her up on her faves or treat her to some new scents that interest her a few times per year (her birthday, Mother’s & Father’s Day, & Christmas) so we tend to leave the store with a bunch of samples that are the size of what’s in the calendar (the sales ladies at our Nordstrom “know” us so they usually hook us up with two gwp sets plus additional samples, and I usually get to keep them all 😉 ), so this calendar really isn’t “worth” it right now for either of us (although I’d really just get it for her) since she’s already stocked up on full size products, and I have a plethora of samples in those sizes. Despite that, I can never help myself but to check the calendar out each year though, lol. Oh! And I couldn’t help myself but to still sub to Macy’s for their Jo Malone box, lol!

How about you?! Will you be getting it this year. 🙂 Will you be getting the Macy’s box too?

      • Hey Luna,

I have always wanted to try Jo Malone so I’m super excited for the Macy’s box. I’ve never had the opportunity to try their products. I think it’s because I’m stocked up on Diptyque products and never need to go out and buy anything.

And having samples would never, ever be an excuse not to buy full size expensive advent calendars – never, ever! 🤭

      • Luna,
Do you know if SPACENK calendar US version is sold out Or not available yet? 😑😕 Tried to order one this morning and UL version is unable to ship to US. The other version – ‘International’ shows as sold out/ unavailable 😢
        Thanks! You are the best!
Which ones are you getting this year? 😃

      • Hi Svetlana 🙂
I just checked, and their international calendar is still available! (I wish I could do a screenshot right now to show you) Maybe you can try again? Maybe try a different browser too.

So far the ones I’ve gotten are:
        Feel Unique
Lookfantastic – I was gifted this as an early Christmas present
SpaceNK – I was gifted this as a late birthday present
Ciate – this is last year’s calendar that I bought on sale for ~$25 on Sephora during their Labor Day sale this year.
Skinstore – This was a bit of an impulse buy, lol. I probably could have waited a bit on this since I’m sure a discount code will eventually apply to it, but oh well. 🙂

The ones I still would like to get are:
Harrods – this is actually live right now, and I tried to get it, but I think they’re having issues with their payment system. I’m going to keep trying off & on, but if it sells out before I can get my hands on it, so be it. 🙂
Liberty & Net-a-Porter – I think these go live next week.
Macy’s – I’ll wait to see if this goes 50% off next month like it did last year.

        On my radar:
Beauty Expert – I haven’t seen any info on this one yet (last year it went live in mid-October), but I usually get this one, and it wouldn’t surprise me if I get it again this year. 🙂

I think that’s it! I will be getting a few different calendars as gifts for others, and maybe a few others for myself, but the ones I listed above are the ones on my to-get list. If I missed any I’ll update. 🙂

How about you? What calendars do you think you’ll be getting this year? 😀

      • Luna,
Just ordered SPACENK! Thank you ❤️😊

What interests you the most about Harrods? I was bummed out I missed it last year.. I even think it went on sale at one point? But I can’t get myself excited enough to spend this much on that particular one… what am I missing? lol

Last year I got liberty and net a porter and will try to get both this year as well 🤞
Wanted to get FortnumandMason, but as you know they do not ship US this year 😕

So far I’ve purchased and received Rituals and wish gotten at least one more for a gift before they sold out. Also, got benefits and Kiehl’s for my daughter … and LEGO and hot wheels for my son lol

‘Missed out’ on Elemis … more likely was deciding if I wanted it enough… considering all others I really want. US site had a good gift with purchase and I guess that made the calendar to sell out quickly… and of purse not I have regrets about me ‘walking it slow’ ha

Still deciding on Espa … missed out on Lookfantastic coupon code… don’t really want to pay the full price for that one. Eyeing the white company but way too much than what I want to spend on it.

Jo Malone looks amazing but I will not be getting that one. Question? Does Macy’s box has Jo Malone only in October box (which is showing sold out) or going forward as well?

The rest I’ll wait to see if they go on sale/discount code will pop up.

        Thanks again! ☀️

      • Oooh, you’re getting some good ones! 🙂 I’m glad you were able to get the SpaceNK calendar! 😀

I don’t think you’re “missing” anything on Harrods since you’re not seeing anything in it that grabs your attention. 🙂 Some of us just like different things! 😀

I’m not sure if Macy’s will continue to include any Jo Malone products in their boxes going forward, but I would think so since they sell the brand. However, they also own Blue Mercury which focuses on higher-end to luxe products, and they rarely (if ever) include products Blue Mercury sells in their stores in the Macy’s box (even though some Macy’s do have Blue Mercury boutiques in them).

I was also kind of eyeing Espa, and may keep it in the back of my mind, but first I want to see how I feel about buying yet another high-priced calendar after I’ve bought (or tried to get) all of the ones on my must have list. 🙂

I ended up getting two Kiehl’s calendars as gifts… one for my mom and one for my brother. Last year, my brother gifted me the Kiehl’s calendar and he told me he regretted not getting one for himself (he’s into skincare too!). I also plan to get him the Mr. Porter and Mankind calendars as well as a Back to the Future calendar too, lol. I also bought some of the Target sock advent calendars for my mom and friends. I was also thinking of getting some of the “smaller” calendars for myself like the Trader Joes beauty calendar and Target’s beauty calendar. Anthropologie had a couple of nice calendars I was gifted last year too, so I may check those out this year as well (the ones in the stores were different (i.e. better) than what they had online).

Oh! And I don’t think the Harrod’s calendar ever went on sale. I’m pretty sure it sold out within a few days last year (as opposed to a few hours like in prior years). I just tried to purchase it again, but I keep getting a weird payment processing error message, so I guess it’s just not meant to be for me this year. 🙁 Well, I’ll still have a lot of other great ones to enjoy so I can’t be all that sad. 🙂

      • Luna,

For sure harrods looks beautiful- I need to take another look lol I think I am turning a ‘blind eye’ because I have my heart set on a few other ones and don’t want to overspend…

I didn’t realize trader joes has a calendar – I’ll look for it in a few days when I am there… not sure how popular it is and if it will be there ‘waiting’ for me to get it then… ha

I got my husband mankind and mr porter last year and loved them both… he also ‘seemed to be excited’…. lol not sure if I’ll be getting any for him this year as I can’t get him to use all of the products, which worked out for me in a way I got some good items to try and use out of it 😂 I am however, considering getting liberty one for men and just use the most of the non gender specific products 😏

Good luck with getting harrods! I hope you’ll be
able to get it before it’s gone😊

      • Hi Luna since I’m a rookie with advent calendars. Can you help me please. I’m trying to purchase the Jo Malone however I’m having an issue checking out. Is there a trick that I’m missing where I can have it shipped to the US?

      • Svetlana, I keep forgetting about Liberty’s mens calendar! I also got that for my brother last year too, and will get it for him again this year. 🙂 And oh my gosh how it took SO much strength within me last year to not raid the mens calendars and replace the unisex products with male specific ones. Tbh, I was a bit jealous seeing all that was in there. And what kills me is the Mankind calendar is a 25-day all full size (maybe with the exception of an item or two) calendar, and us ladies don’t have anything like that. 🙁

Oh! That reminds me… I forgot to mention that another calendar I think I’ll take a look at is Yesstyle’s k-beauty calendar. I might be wrong, but I think it’s a 24- or 25-day calendar and it’s all full size products. I love k-beauty, so this could be a fun one to try. I hear it’s not “worth” it since some k-beauty sites sell some of the products included in the calendar for a fraction of their retail value that the calendar states each product is worth, but I think it could still be worth it to me since I don’t shop on those sites and maybe the cost per item from the calendar would equate to what sites sell them for. I’ll have to take a look at its curation & price before I decide. I have a feeling I’ll miss out on it anyway since it sells out super quickly.

Thanks for the good wishes on the Harrod’s calendar! 😀

      • Hi Brittani!
What site are you trying to purchase it from? Just asking, because I think it’s no longer showing on Lookfantastic’s site. If it’s Jo Malone’s UK site, it looks like they don’t ship to the U.S. (but I could be wrong), and unfortunately it looks like it’s not on their U.S. site. I’ve heard of people using shipping forwarding services to get international boxes that don’t ship directly to the U.S., but I’ve never used those and aren’t too sure how they work. Sorry!

I think that some U.S. stores that sell Jo Malone like Nordstrom, Neimans, Blue Mercury, etc. will also sell the calendar, I think starting in a couple of weeks. You can also call one of the Jo Malone U.S. boutiques to purchase one too! I 🙂 Sorry I wasn’t too much help, but hopefully going through a U.S. store might work for you. 🙂

      • I’ll check it out but doubt I’ll go further than just browsing through the brand as I am already overwhelmed with all the calendars that are out there 🙃 let me know what you think about it if you’ll end up getting that k-beauty calendar 🙂
P.S. almost caved on getting Feelunique calendar … if it doesn’t sell out by tomorrow morning I’ll get it 😏

      • If you do decide to get FeeUnique’s calendar you can select “Powered by FeelUnique” as one of your Brands For Life in your account, and you’ll receive 10% off the calendar. At least it’s something! 🙂

    • Oh! But I should add, that the logic of having a plethora of samples keeps me from getting this box *never* applies to the multi-brand advent calendars that I get every year. 😉

      • Thank you 😊

      • Luna you’ve got me wanting the Liberty of London advent! Do you know when it goes on sale?
        Thank you so much

      • Hi Valerie! Sorry I’m just now seeing your comment…. it’s on sale now! Hopefully you saw MSA’s recent post on it. 🙂
