I signed up again for the August birthday box in the UK with the Huda lipstick. I see how the US boxes are worse. I cancelled now as they don’t worth the price for me. Like this above box, for $5 will be ok not for $21. The September UK edition had a Wishful scrub, avant cream and some fillers but still better 🤷🏻♀️

I had Glossybox for 3 years from 2015-2018. I remember how amazing my first box was. Each time I get this email, I check the boxes I sub to and then I always come and see what glossy is putting in their boxes, and I’m so sad to see that they still haven’t gotten better. I sub to Ipsy, Ipsy Plus, Boxycharm, Boxycharm Premium, and Allure. Aside from the price increases, I’m still super happy with all of them. I’d love to resub to glossy but these spoilers just don’t do it for me.

Ever since Glossybox was taken over by the Hut Group in 2017 it hasn’t been the same. I’m afraid it won’t ever be the same again. I remember one year we received in a box a Rituals shower foam and a nail polish with sparkly little hearts in it as well as a Bergdorf Goodman $25 gift card. I believe it was a Valentine box. Those were the days.

I know it’s not the popular opinion but I love Glossybox. I got this box on Saturday and have used every single thing in here more than once.
So far this is only my second GB but if it continues to go this way I’ll be subscribing for a longer period.
I’ve tried out 10 beauty subs since July and Glossy is in my top 3. As long as I use the stuff, it’s valuable to me.

Also I’ve used promos so that I’ve only paid $16/box. If I had paid the full price I wouldn’t have been as happy with this!

I really enjoy Glossybox (especially since for the past four years, I’ve been buying a yearly sub on Black Friday and getting 30% off). However, I must admit… this curation is really sad. Yikes.

I was coming to say the same thing! That is an exact match to the jade roller they sale and the dollar store. The rest of the box looks just as bad, Glossybox just keeps going further down hill

I already got my box a few days ago and got “live” spoilers that way, lol, so yeah, there’s that. (It was my last box from a pre-paid subscription, I’m def. not renewing.)
