My August 2020 Sock Panda Review

When you join Sock Panda, you can choose between one or two pairs of socks a month. You also can choose between “wild & crazy,” “patterns & prints,” or one of each. I chose to receive “wild & crazy” because my socks are the only exciting part of my outfits while staying at home!

“Saved by the Bell” Socks

If there was one TV show that came to mind when I first saw these socks, I would have to say “Saved by the Bell.” Can’t you just see Lisa strolling down the halls of Bayside wearing these?! I love the pastel blue background contrasted by the hot pink bottom and cuff. The confetti-type design sprinkled throughout really gives them the early ’90s vibe that was sooo cool back then, and seems to be popping up more and more these days! These socks are back to featuring the “Sock Panda” and “Give Back” logos, and seem to be a bit less stretchy than the previous pairs. I have athletic calves, but these fit well and stay in place while wearing. I wear a size 10 shoe and have no trouble fitting my large foot into them. I find these socks to be really comfy, and besides spicing up my sock drawer, they sure make it easy to match socks on laundry day!

Panda Socks

Typically, this subscription sends two pairs of socks that kind of coordinate. While I see no similarities between the pink pair of socks and these panda ones, I can appreciate the more muted color scheme. Sad enough to say, fall is fast approaching, and these will definitely go well with my black dress slacks depending on if schools re-open or not. I found the pops of yellow a great contrast to the bamboo stalks, and I adore the chubby pandas munching away on their leaves. The black accents pull the design of the socks together nicely as well. Like the first pair, these socks also feature the “Sock Panda” and “Give Back” logo and fit my foot well. They certainly are wild, but are welcome into my sock drawer!

Verdict: Sock Panda was a wild one this month! I found both pairs to be unique and charming in their own quirky ways and can’t wait to show them off! Like I said above, the quality of these socks is great, and they wash up beautifully each and every time. All of my socks still look brand new, which is definitely impressive. If you like to receive surprises and appreciate wild sock designs, this subscription is definitely for you! I can’t wait to see what they send next month!

While I am taking a time-out from being a Clinical Laboratory Scientist, I am currently staying at home with my 2 sweet boys! My first subscription was Julep thanks to happening upon the MSA website, and it all went downhill from there! I have subscribed to Ipsy, Boxycharm, Degustabox, Julep, Graze, Bluum, Walmart, and more because I love a good surprise! I truly am a subscription addict!
