L.O.L. Surprise! "Summer Nights" Summer 2020 Review

My daughter loves that everything comes wrapped up in these little bags so it's all a mystery until you open them up. This makes it pretty exciting!

L.O.L. T-Shirt, Size 6/7

There is usually apparel of some sort and this quarter we have this fun T-shirt. I love the colors and my daughter loved the fun graphic at the back. It also features a knot detail at the center in the front making it feel even more trendy. This fits my daughter pretty well, although it probably won't fit for too much longer. For reference, she is typically in size 7 tops. Guess it's time to size her up!

L.O.L. Visor

This bright pink visor was sure exciting to her! She does not own any visors and this pink one is just her style. I love the cute little graphic on the front and how they repeated the palm leaf pattern on the inside of it. It has a velcro strap meaning it can adjust for pretty much any size head.

Here she is with her T-shirt and visor on. Such a fun summer look!

L.O.L. Bandana

The next item she received is this deep pink bandana. It's kind of a funky style with the beatnik and punk dolls featured. Probably not my favorite item, but she seemed to like it!

L.O.L. Purse

Next, she received this fun mini purse that has a great iridescent pink color on it. It has a zipper closure at the top to keep everything secure.

Inside it had a strap that she could attach to the little loops on the side so she can wear it on her arm. The strap is adjustable, too so she can wear it cross-body if she wants.

It also had a tiny matching pink strawberry coin case tucked inside. This came with a detachable wristlet strap.

L.O.L. Puzzle

My daughter was especially excited to see this 48 piece puzzle inside the box. She has always loved puzzles and this design is really fun! She disappeared into her room to get it done as soon as we had everything else opened up.

L.O.L. Pin

Our pin this month features a cutie with some fun blue hair and star sunglasses. I'm not too sure how I feel about the fishnets though...

L.O.L. Roundie Towel

This last item is my favorite and one of hers (it tied with the puzzle!): a large roundie towel. It's such a great size and it's a polyester microfiber so sand won't stick to it. It's also fairly thick so it will probably absorb some water and also be great for picnics! It's really a versatile item and the quality seems pretty decent to me.

I think the graphic is pretty fun as it reminds me of both Grease and Cry-Baby. She was most happy about the ice cream sign. Haha. The back is just plain white so if you wanted to keep it simple, you can flip it over!

Here she is laying and sitting on it so you can get an idea of the size.

Here she is loaded up with all of her new gear!

Verdict: What a great summer L.O.L. Surprise! Box! I really loved that there was a nice summer feel to the items without being too specific to the season. The visor, T-shirt, and towel were all hits with my daughter and she really loved the puzzle and was eager to complete it right away. The quality of the towel was great and I'm actually happy to have it to throw in our car for impromptu picnics since it's a great size. The bandana and purse were both just okay to me, but they made her happy, so that makes them winners, too. We received a total of 7 items for $45.00 ($38.00 + $7.00 shipping) which seems like a great deal for limited edition items from a brand that you usually pay a premium for!

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No, but the fall box is available now! These boxes do sell out, so I recommend signing up soon if you're interested.

Value Breakdown: This box costs $38.00 + $7.00/shipping for a total cost of $45.00, which means that each of the 7 items costs approximately $6.43 each.

While I have been reviewing boxes since 2018 and I love the luxury of trying new products, I'm also balancing it out by dabbling in a little bit of homesteading, too. We now have 4 chickens and a rabbit and my sourdough starter is going strong! I love learning about new brands and sharing the great things I find with others in hopes that they find something new to love or to fit their needs!
