Emma & Chloé July 2020 Review

This month's box arrived with a booklet featuring gorgeous photography and other E & C pieces you can purchase.

Let's peek inside!

Acia Bangle with Mother of Pearl Cabochon - Retail Value $88.00

I wear some mix of cuffs and bangles daily and this twisted design is a great addition to my collection. There were a few different stone centers that were randomly selected for subscribers (Mother of Pearl, Turquoise, Amazonite) and mine was a creamy MoP stone that collects light inside in a really beautiful way. At first, I was kind of bummed I didn't get a turquoise stone, but the more I wore the MoP the more I loved it and how it added a neutral element to my normal wrist stack. This bracelet is really substantial for how light it looks. It is adjustable, but bending the body to adjust it takes a lot of effort. It has a very chic and clean look that I really love on my wrist.

All Emma & Chloé pieces also come with a certificate of authenticity card plus care instructions on the back:

Verdict: I am very pleased with the July piece! I love open cuff bracelets and I think this combo of gold and ivory is really classic and versatile. You can wear this with jeans or a fancy dress!

I love natural/vegan beauty products, Korean skincare, unique jewelry, and weird candies from far away places. When I am not waiting for my next exciting box you can find me painting or taking photographs of interesting people. I never leave home without pug hair somewhere on my shirt and a bold lipstick on my smile.

I have really enjoyed this subscription! Love this bracelet also!! I started my sub in February for the year and will definitely resubscribe when the time comes. 🙂

Thank you Megan for this review 😊. I’ve been wanting to pick up a jewelry subscription all year and have been watching reviews and spoliers. I remember reading that E & C had questionable quality, that does not look like the case with this cuff. Can you speak on that? Has their quality improved? Also, along those same lines, any idea on why we haven’t seen anything on Penny + Grace in a few months?

I subbed to Emma and Chloe for about a year. There were one or two real duds – horrible quality, broke right away, piece of crap etc. The rest are still holding up after a couple of years, and one or two pieces are of really exceptional quality, IMHO. I probably wouldn’t subscribe again but that’s only because I have so many pieces from them already, but I would recommend it. The best thing about this sub is the originality. I have some very original pieces that I’ve seen nowhere else.

I have found the quality from E&C to always be really nice! I have metal sensitives and if the quality of a piece isn’t decent, my ears itch and my skin turns it green. I have yet to have an issue with anything from E&C other than a few chains going dull months and months later. This is really more of a ‘me’ issue though. My skin is really hard on jewelry! This cuff in particular does feel even more high quality than some previous pieces though. Along with the Sensai earrings from April. So to summarize, I have yet to have quality issues with this sub. BUT some months def feel better than others in my hands. 🙂

Not quite sure re: Penny & Grace. Let me see if I can find out!

I love this bangle and it looks great with the other mother of pearl bangles from Match 2019 and Match 2018. I love stacking them

I got the mother of pearl version as well, it is sooooo beautiful and I really feel like pictures don’t do it justice, something with how the light hits the MoP, I think.

It was hard to photograph how pretty the light makes it! I love it.
