Boxycharm July box my pur eyeshadow was broken , my August box not only did the junk look used but they sent me a box full of the same crap no variety at all . Needless to say I cancelled won’t ever go back

when does choice open? Do you have to wait for an email?

Don’t wait for an email, I’ve only received an email once or twice from BoxyCharm telling me it’s time to choose my “choice” product. Just check for the dates on the BoxyCharm website and I think choice for October is coming up on the 14th, I may be wrong on that date but if you go to the website you’ll know for sure. You can’t rely on emails because you’ll miss out on picking your choice or add ons you may have been wanting to purchase. I check hourly on the BoxyCharm website for when choice opens on the set choice day date. I’m MST (time zone) and it’s usually around 10am-12pm. I know some people don’t have the opportunity to check every hour, but that’s the only way I’ve been able to make make my choice, I still miss it sometimes, items can go in less then 15 min. But you may still have the chance to purchase it as an add on if you really wanted the item bad enough. Hope this helps and makes sense…

My theory is that there are only a limited amount of spots on the list for choice, and you may only get “drawn” every other month or so. Been subscribed for over a year and I have had times where I get choice for months in a row and now the past two months I haven’t received the email.

hopefully there will be no face creams and face serums in this next box I dont use that kind of stuff.. hopefully all make up this time im tired of of the other crap.. i get more excited over my lip monthly plus than I do boxycharm lately..

Nice! I’m getting Boxyluxe in two subscriptions and Boxycharm base only in my third. I hope I get the Alamar or Hip Dot palettes. I wish they didn’t replace Boxycharm base with Boxyluxe so I wouldn’t have to make a separate account because of the chance of getting repeats.

The only Hipdot product I’ve tried is the SpongeBob palette I got from Boxy’s pop-up, and I really love it. The quality is as good as any prestige brand I’ve tried. I’ve found a lot of lighter/brighter mattes turn slightly darker/duller on my eyes, whether it’s oil from my skin or makeup or whatever, but the mattes in this perform so well & the color stays true to what’s in the pan.
I guess what I’m saying is this box looks really tempting lol. Somebody change my Boxy password for me so I can’t resubscribe? XD

I also like that even though there’s 2 different brands of palettes, the color stories are actually pretty similar, so even if you get a different variant, you’re still getting something similar to what others are getting.
