Does anyone have full spoilers for this box yet? The suspense is killing me! 😊

I canceled a few months ago. I had been getting this box for years. It was by far the best box on the market.
It’s gone downhill. All small sample sizes now and not as many products.
I hope they turn this around.

I just found out Dermstore was bought out by Target, coincidentally they have gone totally down hill the last few months, they better get it together or they will lose a lot of customers.

Well, I mean, they bought them in 2013. Subscription boxes have been around since about 2012. Years ago, someone on this site did a spreadsheet on which boxes have the best value and this one won. I’m not giving up on them yet.

FYI, Target has owned Dermstore since 2013.

I cancelled as well as I was totally fed up with the teeny, tiny sample sizes most recently in the July box. I had subbed with them for years, but boxes this year especially seemed to have gone down. If they can turn it around, I will definitely reconsider, but for now I am trying other boxes.

Dermstore Daily Mineral Sunscreen SPF 40 I got a small sample of this and my child is a fair red head who burns very easy .
This is absolutely the best sun screen I have ever used on my child I applied the sun screen on her face and missed a small area and she burned where I missed a spot and she was white everywhere I applied .and that was just a spf 30 I highly recommend the box just for the sun screen

Just a potential heads up on the mask…. I received this mask in a Maple Blume box (RIP) last year, and the mask’s expiration date was only about 3 months away (give or take a month). There was a bit of an uproar about that, and Maple Blume said the mask has a short expiration date because Nuori said that’s when the ingredients are at their strongest or most potent. I just thought I’d mention just in case the one included in this box has a short expiration date.

I used the mask 2x/week and the mask lasted me about 9 months (I actually want to say closer to one year, but I can’t really remember other than it lasted a really long time), and it performed just as well as it did the first day I used it. 🙂 It may have lasted me a really long time because I never used a full pump as that was way too much product for me, so I only used a partial pump (like less than half a pump) each time I used it, so I guess if a full pump was used I could have finished it in about 3 months!

Missy

Thanks! Did you use it overnight or for 10-15 min and then wash off?

Luna

I left it on overnight, so I basically just used it as a night time moisturizer on my masking nights 🙂 Since I used it like that I didn’t need as much than if I applied a thick masking layer that I planned to wash off. It felt great, and definitely not heavy like the sleeping/moisture masks I’m used to. It sunk in pretty quickly like a moisturizer would, and my skin always felt really soft the next morning 🙂

Lawden

Wow that’s an awesome mask and if it’s really full size so in!!

Lawden… the spoilers are listed on another popular subscription blog. The photos are a bit different and it specifically says that the mask is full size! 😊

Sonja

what other blog?

Colleen

I don’t think there is anything wrong with a sample of dermstore. brand. Just wish they didn’t wait til september for a facial sunscreen

You need sunscreen all year round. In fact, snow reflects the sun even more.

At first I wasn’t interested, but then after looking into the products, I’m in! The Nouri looks great (and according to one reviewer smells slightly of roses-always a plus for me) And, I love trying new mineral sunscreens!

Luna

I actually finished a full size of this mask earlier this year, and to me it had a soft & powdery scent to it. What’s cool is that the bottle above looks like just the full size bottle, so I’m totally in if it’s the full size! … well even if it’s not I may re-subscribe anyways just to get the chance to try this mask again. 🙂

Luna

Yay! Thanks Missy 😀 I guess I’m in for another month of Beauty Fix! 🙂

Luna

oops switched my words around… should read, “… looks just like the full size bottle…” 🙂

Missy

It is full size! Facebook had a video of the spoilers. I am so in for this box!

Milena

Spoilers for BeautyFix?! I thought I had read that wrong at first! 😀 I don’t mind if they put one house brand item in here and there as long as there are full sizes of other well known brands still. I’ve had my sub for nearly two years and it’s still my favorite.

Hoping the moisture mask is good but not excited, at all, for more sunscreen in a subscription box.

Luna

I finished a full size of this mask earlier this year, and I thought it was nice, but it felt more like a regular moisturizer than a sleeping/moisture mask. It was definitely moisturizing, but it had the same consistency/weight of a typical moisturizer. Also, a word of warning… a little goes a long way with this mask, and the pump distributes WAY more product than you’ll need. I always had to be very aware when pumping the product out to not get too much.

Luna

I didn’t detect rose at all, but more of a soft powdery scent. Its scent actually made me think of moisturizers you’d get at a mass department store… which was fine by me 🙂

Connie Lee

Is the scent a more natural rose scent or a fake rose scent?

Missy

Yay for spoilers! I was so excited when I saw this on fb. The first product retails for $89. I’m also excited to try their face sunscreen.

I agree with Severynn, unless they have a Labor Day deal.

Severynn

Ugh, I used to love this box. If they are now putting their own brand in boxes, I am done. Honestly, the brand might be good, but for $25.00, I want established brands. It seems like overall, this is a bad time for boxes in general. I hope things get better

Alice

It used to be my favorite. I cancelled last year.

Severynn, I came down to the comments to say exactly that: this is the first time that I see the house brand in the box. Does that signal the beginning of the end? A shame.

Sonja

I highly doubt this is the end. It’s a great company and they are very on point.

I cancelled (sadly) last month after months of Beautyfix being my favorite, most perfect, stellar box. These spoilers are doing nothing for me and I have no plans on going for September’s box. What has happened to Dermstore? I don’t understand!
