This box looked ok but for some reason my order was cancelled. My c.c. On file is good, I just randomly received an email that it was cancelled. Oh well, can take the money and put towards my annual allure.

Just an fyi the sunscreen is tinted so if you aren’t a mid toned skin tone it probably won’t match. It’s way too dark for my light eastern european skin. Sad, I can’t seem to pull the plug on beautyfix no matter how bad it gets. How many wet bags and living proof dry shampoos does one need? This box was so blah for me.

If you subscribe to BeautyFIX and then cancel, be sure to check your credit card statements! I just realized that even though I had cancelled my subscription a couple months back (shows cancelled on the site) they have continued to charge me monthly – but haven’t sent me a box!

Don’t hesitate to contact their CS. Their customer service is stellar! (800) 213-3376

This is the first time I’ve canceled this box since I started subscribing. I kind of think that Dermstore is going to put Beautyfix on hold for a while.

Nothing in this box sounds good. Super let down.

When they don’t release spoilers or tell you what the products are until the 4th day of the month something must be up. Disappointed once again.

Reply ButtonReply

Kristin

Yeah I cancelled yesterday.

Elizabeth

Same. It would have been my 2nd box but didn’t want it.

Kim

The Dr. Loretta Tightening Eye Gel is supposed to be full sized, according to their website. Still a very lame box. They are getting worse by the month. Wouldn’t be surprised if this box is over by 2021.

Jennifer Fox

If that’s true, that’s a $60 product!

JuJu

Price really doesn’t mean much in skincare. There are a lot of poorly formulated expensive products.

these boxes are getting worst…there is no way this box is worth 100.00..

I’m on product overload and this doesn’t excite me, but I do have to say that I got their wetbag in a box a couple years ago, and really like it.

I think this looks like a nice box. ordered it today.

BeautyFIX was such a great skincare box BEFORE Ipsy Plus came to be with 5 FULL SIZE items + you get to pick one (now 3) for exactly the same price. Boxycharm let’s you pick too & also has 5 full size items. Even Allure stepped up their game. NewBeauty TestTube was awesome this month with full size Sunday Riley for just $40, so I may have to let BeautyFIX go. Yes, the value is more than $25 but I’m on product overload & nothing is full size here to be “giftable”. Sadly there are so many repeats that “discovery” thrill is gone. Nothing is customized to skin type or color like Ipsy. Though Deemstore’s kits & LE boxes are always good. I’ll be back for BOGO sales later in the year. When they make enough lame boxes for all current subscribers who then “mass exit” = too many unsold boxes. I’ll buy the lame box in a few months for $12.50+tax for just one item that I want to try based on everyone’s rave reviews. Complaining about the box going downhill won’t change anything as long as they make a profit. Once the decline in quality causes the decrease in sale & profit that’s when things will change. Case in point – Allure & TestTube. I had 2 accounts for each. The last few months were so lame I dumped both & then they gave me the box I couldn’t resist. Too good to miss out on so I’m back. Hope the same will happen to BeautyFIX. Though since Dermstore is online & didn’t have to close maybe they are getting more customers due to COVID brick & mortar stores closing. That may explain why sub boxes are so lame. We don’t have mall beauty counters & testers & makeovers.

Hi Jane! I’m new to Beautyfix. When do they normally have their BOGO sale?
Thanks in advance! 🙂

Black Friday. Sometimes a week before. Start paying attention in mid November.

Love the derelict but not enough to subscribe. This use to be such a great box come on Beautyfix.

This seems like a sad box to me! Beautyfix has always been a favorite, I don’t mind repeats or even smaller samples – as long as there are a decent amount of different products to try. Idk, this just seems like they didn’t even try. The eye cream looks intriguing so I may resub For that, but they usually have more items. I cancelled a couple days ago when spoilers weren’t out.

Anyone else think it’s weird we got a full size eye cream last month, and again this month? Eye cream lasts me forever!

Reply ButtonReply

Missy

Just to add- that is my favorite dry shampoo! I use it every other day when I don’t wash. I wouldn’t get the box for that, but it will come in handy as a travel size.

Jacki

I subscribed. I had the details of the August box with the items and sizes, put it in my basket, selected subscribe instead of one time purchase… and my order says JULY!! 😡

Joy-Not the Other One

I received the Dr. Loretta eye gel from Scentbird a few months ago because I had heard such great things about it. I know taste is totally subjective and different things work differently for everyone but I was not a fan. I tried so hard to like it but it is so so so watery. I also did not notice any difference after about a month of consistent use. I will be interested to see how everyone else feels about it. She is such a well known and lauded brand I wondered if mine was maybe a fluke?

Reply ButtonReply

TK

Oh no! I was really hoping that eye serum would be good but I agree….watery eye products are not my favorite. I’m in my 50’s and really like silky rich creams. I know people love or hate La Mer but I really like their eye cream.

Reply ButtonReply

Kirsten

I agree. I used to sub to this box. I’ll still get the occasional odd box if it has something I like and use as the full sized item. It’s been a while since I’ve even done that. It really used to be a great box.

Even though the Dr Loretta eye gel is full-size and $60, I still feel like there’s something missing. It feels very skimpy with the number of products and the mini-sizes.

Reply ButtonReply

Luna

The eye gel got me to re-sub, but everything else looks good to me too 🙂

This may not survive, but I’ll give it a try.
Bought the Net a Portet 2019 box 2 weeks ago.
Got the 2018 box.
It is not going well.

Kelly

Thanks Luna, I’m considering subbing just for that eye cream, and the rest of the items are bonus for me! The sunscreen from First Aid Beauty and Tula mask are both items that I’ve never tried from brands I like. I can always use more of that Living Proof dry shampoo, too!

Luna

Hi Kelly, I haven’t yet tried any products from Dr. Loretta, but I’ve only heard good things about the brand. I would have still re-subbed even if what was included was just a sample, but considering it’s a full-size eye cream (that retails for $60, fwiw) that’s icing on the cake for me. 🙂

Luna

Hi Tat, I noticed a week ago it was the 2018 advent calendar they marked down (it’s now marked down 50% off to $104), not the 2019 calendar 🙁 I assumed it was the 2019 calendar because they said the 2018 calendar sold out during their mega sale in early 2019, and I wouldn’t have guessed they would have brought back an almost 2 year old box. Admittedly, I did get this calendar when it first came out, but if it gets marked down to around $75 or so (I haven’t decided yet what my threshold is yet, lol) I’ll probably get it. I feel confident the products are still fine, and I wouldn’t hesitate to use them. I know how disappointing it is getting a whole other set of products than you were expecting, but I hope you’re still able to enjoy the box 🙂

Kelly

I’ve never heard of Dr. Loretta, is it a good brand?

Alice

I, too, was with them a long time. It was my second sub. Not feeling it any longer. Cancelled a while back.

Reply ButtonReply

Katharyn

Really?!! Used to be such a super sub……but has drastically gone downhill. No big hit items anymore. Just little samples….alot of duplicates. I need to just to just quit..

I’m sad to say this, but I cancelled starting starting this month. This box used to be amazing and even in the past few months when many people thought the boxes stunk, I didn’t mind them despite the lack of a “hero” item. But this box? This box is a joke. I keep going back on MSA to look at their 2019 and 2018 boxes and the difference is mind boggling. I’m sure everyone here already knows that. I almost feel guilty because Beautyfix was my shining star for so long and could do no wrong in my eyes, but not a single one of these items intrigues me whatsoever. 6 tiny items and a bag (which I already have too many of). I know the eye cream is full sized and $60 RV, but I received a full size eye cream last month in BF and IPSY. I might be back but for now I can use the $27 somewhere else (or actually save it? Nahhh!!!!).

I never thought I would have to do this, but I cancelled. I have been with Beautyfix since 2016.
I did because there products are repeats and they never let us know what is coming in the next month until the next month is here.
I wish they would go back to the way they were year(s) ago if so I would subscribe again.

Sorry to say good bye.

Very underwhelming. Beautyfix used to be the shining star among all by subscription boxes, but lately it has been so…dull, for lack of a better word. These boxes very much feel like random items thrown together with very little curation. I expect more from Beautyfix.

Kristin

Yeah I canceled today.

This was my first box.
