Hi!! I was just googling and looking for some insight. I purchased an August Ultimate bag but unfortunately there was a “higher demand” so they pushed my bag to September’s. I really wanted this one so if there is a way I could buy it from you, (Or anybody that sees this) let me know! Thank you so much!!

This is kind of off topic but has anyone else noticed that the items that you redeem your points for are dwindling!?!? Used to they would have quit a bit to choose from and the sold out items would be taken off fairly quickly. Right now there are 8 items to choose from and 4 are sold out and 1 of the 4 available is a black eyeliner!!! I have about 4,000 point accumulated now because there is never anything worth getting. And the ones that are ate few and far between and go lightning quick!! The sold out items stay on there for so long now, it’s doesn’t update very often. Very disappointing.

I am not impressed with these spoilers *at all*
The Complex Culture brushes are nice, admittedly, but not worth it for a $50 bag.
As of now I have tried three 111Skin products and was not impressed with any of them; they just don’t work for me.
Time to skip for a while, I think.
Also, why have they not spoiled the bag design for August yet….unless they’re doing away with the bag part of the glam bag.

I got the Doucce Palette last month, what the heck. Used it today….not very good pigment, but it does last all day. Just not a favorite and really don’t want it again! But bring on the 111Skin!!❤️

My skin loves the 111skin brand! LOVES it!!! I’ve always been I to skincare and have used high end products but it works very well for me.

111skin and another Complex Culture brush? I’m in!!! I’ve skipped the last few Ultimate bags but I’d definitely buy the brush for $12-15 on Mercari, so the cost breakdown on the rest is minimal.

I also just got that pallate in my June ultimate bag. I don’t care for another one. I’m not happy to see it again. I’m not impressed with what I’m seeing with Ultimate for August.

Kate, I totally agree with you! Better off just getting plus or base bag and hand selecting add-ons. I signed up for plus hoping to get the sunday riley luna oil during choice and it was not available. Now I see it available for add-ons. Makes me upset. They should do something special for Ultimate subscribers and have certain products exclusive to that subscription tier to mKe it worth it. Ever since it launched last year it has been nothing but an assortment of the same exact items you can get in base bag and plus

I experimented with getting 2 GBPs last year for a few months, but kept getting tons of repeats. Maybe I didn’t make my quizzes distinct enough to avoid repeats- and this was before they started having choice picks. Might be worth doing again on months when I’m really into the spoilers though. Agree that the value just isn’t there on the Ultimate bag!

Agreed 100%! Especially saving the money from Ultimate and using it for add ons! That’s what I did for July and I built my perfect bag! Sometimes you miss out on stuff, but that’s better than wasting money and getting a bunch of stuff I won’t use.

All I can say is, I was on seconds after choice opened in my time zone and it was not a choice for me.

Alice, actually I talked to 3 different people at Ipsy and they did run out of it for choice. They explained to me how it’s different inventory ect ect!

Debby, the SR was not a choice item for many people. It’s not that they ‘ran out’, they just plain didn’t offer it.

I actually have 2 subs for Ipsy Plus, with 2 slightly different profiles. Occasionally get 1 or 2 duplicate, but it will often be items i like, so it works out. For me, its a better deal than Ultimate – because for the same price ($50) I am receiving 10 full size items and no sample size, unless of course I get add ons. It did NOT work in my favor this month with the Sunday Riley Luna oil – it was already unavailable when I made my choice. I do think its interesting it was up for sale in the add ons this morning. If they had more they really should have made it available for choice.

Anyone else notice that the 111SKIN ATP Cryo Booster is in the plus AND ultimate bags in August? I think I’m going to cancel my ultimate and switch to plus. Then I’ll spend the leftover $25 on add ons.
What’s the point of ultimate, anyway? Does anyone else feel there should be items exclusive to ultimate so that there is a reason to spend the extra $$? I mean, it’s twice the cost for pretty much the same stuff, you’re just getting a few more items that are usually just meh filler items anyway.
Maybe it’s just me but ultimate isn’t feeling very ultimate.

Yea…two Plus subs really does sound like a better and use the extra for addons. I think it’s odd that the Plus bag gets to choose 2 items now and seems to be a better deal than the $50 Ultimate. Like you said, there should be exclusive products for the Ultimate bag, and something more special. I get all 3 bags and add-ons!!! May cancel my Ultimate.🤔

You get 8 full size and 4 deluxe samples in an Ultimate – all for $50. The retail value seems to be $250-$400 on Ultimate, I think that’s the appeal to people.

Right.. and when the hero item is just as effective as a drugstore brand but costs $135 (to make it seem like it’s a big deal) and the bag is worth $200… and the 4 “deluxe” samples are worth maybe $2 each accounting for $8 of the value… you’re at $143. So the. You factor in 8 junk items that are worth maybe $8 each… and you say they’re worth $25… you get a value of $343… wow… what a good deal 🧐🙄🥳
