Goddess Provisions "Celestial Alignment" June 2020 Review

The box comes with a short but informative booklet that outlines all of the items inside and discloses the theme!

Magic of I 7-month Pocket Calendar - Retail Value $25.00

I also received one of these half-year calendars in 2019, and I carried it around faithfully! It is filled with extras in addition to housing the normal calendar format, such as a life guide, monthly goals and intention prompts, weekly goals and actionable steps, menstrual tracking via the moon, and holidays. In addition, it is just gorgeous and the perfect size for a purse.

Goddess Provisions Cosmic Socks - Listed Value $11.00

These cute ankle socks are covered in planet symbols and they are a cotton, nylon, spandex blend. They are very cute and perfect for cozy nights on the couch.

Crazy Rumors 'Capricorn' Zodiac Lip Balm - Retail Value $4.29

So the zodiac lip balms will vary by sign, and though I am not a Capricorn, my bestie is! This lip balm is vegan, cruelty-free, and US-made!

Seed of Creation Zodiac Talisman - Listed Value $33.00

I don't love this necklace because it doesn't really look like anything I would actually wear. I will admit that it is very detailed and features delicate little carvings of each of the zodiac signs. The pendant looks to be made of brass and rests on an adjustable waxed cotton cord.

Goddess Provisions Zodiac Washi Tape - Listed Value $5.00

I am a collector of cute stationery items and this black washi tape is perfect for sealing letters with a celestial flair. It features metallic gold zodiac symbols as well as celestial stars.

Goddess Provisions Moon Ritual Incense - Listed Value $11.00

I was really excited to see incense included because I burn it in my home constantly! Despite the adorable packaging, I found this batch really disappointing because it didn't have a scent to it at all other than just the smell of burning. Not even when I sniffed the tube did I smell a thing! It was mean to be sandalwood, which would have been really nice, but ultimately this is not something I will burn another stick of.

Moon Phase Selenite Wand - Listed Value $22.00

Also included was a very pretty selenite want with soft rounded ends. It has a beautiful etching of curved lines and the moon! I love selenite because it catches the light so beautifully and is closely associated with good luck and protection!

Digital Bonus: The Hidden Secrets of Your Birth Chart EBook

This 17-page digital book dives into how birth charts are created and how to read them. It is really interesting and in-depth stuff, and a great starter guide for someone interested in their own birth chart.

The Verdict: This month's Goddess Provisions delivered on the celestial theme, but I wasn't crazy about the overall assortment. I did love the planner, socks, and lip balm, but was less interested or impressed by the pendant and incense. All together it is two thumbs up for curation in terms of the theme, but I hope next month has more items that have better quality or that I might actually wear and use.

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No. If you sign up today you will receive a mystery box with 7-9 items, a surprise mix of crystals, and fan favorite items from past boxes.

ACTIVE DEAL: Use code MSA10 for 10% off your entire order (min. purchase of $25 USD required).

Value Breakdown: At $33.00 for this box, each of the 7 items have an average cost of $4.71. I did not include the digital e-book in this calculation.

I love natural/vegan beauty products, Korean skincare, unique jewelry, and weird candies from far away places. When I am not waiting for my next exciting box you can find me painting or taking photographs of interesting people. I never leave home without pug hair somewhere on my shirt and a bold lipstick on my smile.

I have been getting this box over year, and this is the first box I hated. I really felt it was cheap, and nowhere near as amazing as the rest. I chalked it up to it being a business owned by one person, and the pandemic causing a mass exodus of subscribers, leading to attempts to not go bankrupt by giving us about 30% of the value the boxes normally have. The socks and the lipbalm were the only items I felt were of quality. The necklace seemed like a child trinket, the incense had no smell, the washi tape went to my tween.
Julys box sold out and is running over a week late, so I am hoping that the lack of excess and more care means the owner did not use excessive money curating a large number and will provide us with a better box this month. Feeling cheated is the #1 way to lose repeat customers.

I miss getting this box. Just out of budget for me right now. This looks like a good month!

I loved everything in this box and thought it was beautifully curated. I’m not a socks wearer so I’ll give them away. However, all the items are so unique. I wore the necklace as soon as I opened the box and already got compliments on it — even through masks during this pandemic.

This is pretty funny, I saw the incense and heaved a sigh, thinking ughh now the whole box will smell and I’ll have to stash it away until the smell fades so I don’t get a migraine.
But then I pulled out the incense, and it smelled delightfully of sandalwood! Which is a very gentle scent you need to be pretty close to. I think the sticks might just be sandalwood, and not sandalwood scented.

Also, I’ve been wearing the necklace backwards. The back is plain brass and really beautiful. The info card does specify the piece is brass, by the way.
