If you don't choose by that date, GlobeIn will send you a random box based on what's in stock. They do guarantee that you won't receive a duplicate theme!

GlobeIn "Infuse" Box Review

Each box from GlobeIn contains a booklet that talks more about the theme for the box and the items inside. This little booklet is almost as valuable to me as the items inside the box, because it gives background on each piece and often includes names and photos of the artisans behind them. I absolutely love knowing more about the products and the hands that crafted each item.

Time to check out our handmade goodies!

Chimini Teapot with Natural Lid, Nepal

Measurements: 5" H x 5" W.

Materials: Ceramic

I love handmade ceramics so this teapot felt like a real treasure. The soft blue glaze is such a complement to the unglazed lid which has a grainy natural finish. This pot holds loads of hot water and does a really great job of keeping the water hot, too. It is certainly an upgrade from my beat-up old metal kettle, especially if I am sharing tea with friends and want the presentation to be pretty!

Mug Topper Tea Strainer, India

Measurements: 9" long

Materials: Copper coated stainless steel

This is the perfect sort of strainer for an extra-large mug! It also actually sifts flour and powdered sugar well, too. Because of the design, it sits across a small mug or bowl and remains steady all buy itself, keeping your hands free.

Fair Trade Tea Drops Collection - Buy more here!

How cute are these? They make tea time feel so fancy and are so easy to use. This little trio consists of Sweet Peppermint, Rose Earl Grey, and Blueberry Acai. The little drops already have cane sugar inside too, so all you need is hot water!

So you don't actually need a strainer to use these yummy tea drops. The tea is so fine it basically dissolves and you don't even notice it when you are drinking. It is really delicious and kind of a genius solution for tea on the go. You could just pop one of these into a Swell water bottle in the morning with hot water and be set!

The Verdict: The GlobeIn 'Infuse' box was really great for a tea-lover like myself. I tend to have 2-3 cups throughout the day, but my night cup is always the "fancy" one where I relax and take my time. This teapot is perfect for bringing hot water up to my office and sipping all day long, too! I needed a larger strainer for some of my floral teas and I also loved the tea drops!

I love natural/vegan beauty products, Korean skincare, unique jewelry, and weird candies from far away places. When I am not waiting for my next exciting box you can find me painting or taking photographs of interesting people. I never leave home without pug hair somewhere on my shirt and a bold lipstick on my smile.

I found the tea drops in the grocery store. Will try them out! Thanks for showing them here!

While this box is certainly lovely, I feel like it’s gotten very overpriced. There’s seems to be fewer items in a box. I enjoy the whole concept of this box and being fair trade and paying the artisans fairly but I just can’t afford this.

I completely agree. People here rave about this sub but this is a very weak show, especially for $50 including shipping.

A teapot, a copper plated strainer, and enough tea for THREE cups. I’m struggling to find the value even if I did feel that proceeds were going to artisans in Nepal.

I’ve travelled to most of the places they source goods from and they have inflated the cost of goods to a ridiculous amount. In their July spoilers they have a coconut shell bowl from Vietnam for $22. Actually you can buy a fair trade one there for $2 maximum. And this is not with any wholesale pricing. They may buy fair trade but the prices are peanuts compared to the profits they’re making.

Steph

I agree 100%. If it was $35-40 total then maybe but $50 for these items doesn’t seem like a great deal. It’s missing one or two more items.

Love GlobeIn! Looking forward to my “Arogotto” (sp?) this month. Fully enjoyed “Savvy” last month.
