I still haven’t received my June Boxyluxe. I emailed boxy and they responded on the 18th with a tracking number which the USPS still isnt showing as received. Now I’ve been charged for July… it’s July 6th… still no sign of the box.. what the heck Boxycharm!! Ive been a subscriber for 2 years not sure what the deal is all of a sudden. Im sure all the YouTubers have received theirs!!


Kristen, I still haven’t received mine either. Supposedly, now they are sending me a “replacement” box. They never shipped out the first one! I never got any tracking information nor was there ever anything in my account on their website. I have also been a subscriber for years and never really had an issue. They messed up big time for June.


I’ve emailed them 3 times now and gotten a different story each time. I always thought people were overreacting when it came to issues… now that i see how they treat their customers when there’s an issue i can totally relate to the frustration


I ordered the mysteryluxe and premium june 12th and the premium shipped but the mysteryluxe has not shipped yet! The premium should be here in a few daus and it says it’s 4 lbs so I’m wondering if they ship both boxes together? Has anyone else ordered the mysteryluxe because the june luxe was sold out? The mysteryluxe is supposed to be $375 worth! Customer service said im supposed to get two boxes so not sure why it doesn’t say shipped for the mysteryluxe.


Has anyone received a luxe box that is supposed to weigh in at 2.72 lbs ? I am still waiting for my box. I chose the pillow case and the Tula eye balm. I’m so anxious to see what variation I’m getting. Lol


I’m done with boxycharm. The customer service is terrible. I received a package with the contents ruined. I sent a picture of the label and the ruined items. Still no refund. Also, the website doesn’t work when it’s time to choose and most of the products I usually end up not using. I do not recommend boxycharm.


Beyond annoyed. I just got confirmation that my LUXE had shipped. Tracking says it wont be here until 6/30. There is no reason it should take a full month for my box to arrive.


I’m so done with Boxycharm! I FINALLY just received notifications to pick up my Boxyluxe and Add-ons box, and I now have to pay about $33 to get my stuff ($19 for my boxyluxe and another $14 for my add-ons). This on ON TOP of the already $81.07 Canadian I paid for the Luxe box, and $98 Canadian for my add-ons. So my Boxyluxe is now costing me $100. The fees are NOT from customs. I asked Canada Post online and they said there were no customs charges. So these are directly from DHL. And I know I’m not the only Canadian going through this, because I saw some other posts on Glam with Suzan’s Instagram posts of people complaining about being charged because of DHL. This is ridiculous.

We already have to pay so much more because of the exchange rate and shipping, but these boxes are not supposed to have extra charges. When they use APC – as they have done for like 90% of my Boxy packages, there’s never been any charge. Not for the base, premium or luxe boxes OR add-ons/pop-up. But because they chose to use this special DHL Global service there’s a huge extra charge. It just really sucks.

I’ll pay it this one time because I want my stuff – especially my add-on stuff because I got a few of that Farmacy honey potions and 1 jar alone here is like $50 at Sephora. So it’s a great deal, even with the extra $14 since I bought more than one. But I’m pissed.

And on top of that, DHL or Boxycharm LOST my Pop-up items that were shipped the middle of May. It’s been over a month! DHL has told me they do not have the box and to contact Boxycharm for a reshipment or refund because they can’t find it. Boxycharm still haven’t responded. But at this point, if they do ship the box again and send it again through DHL I’ll probably get hit with ANOTHER charge from DHL. Just absolutely ridiculous. I already cancelled my base box and luxe box at the start of this whole mess because they insisted on using DHL, but now with the extra $33, I’ll be cancelling my Premium too, even though I have $85 on charms.

I’ll see if I can use them up before the end of the month when the stupid charm room finally opens back up (how long do they even keep add-ons up? It’s ridiculous that it’s still up well after everyone has picked over everything and all the good stuff is gone. It’s been open for like 2 weeks!) There is nothing wowing me in the next premium box, we’re getting 2 cheap palettes that should not be in Premium, and the toners or lotion isn’t really enough to keep me interested. Especially since we only get ONE of the 4, not a toner and a lotion. Man, Boxycharm has just seriously tanked the last 3 months.


I’m always so surprised to read the problems people have had with Boxy but this is crazy! You have to pay extra fees? I’m in Canada too and that’s never happened to me. I’m wondering if its a different carrier? I have my delivered by Canada Post. DHL is awful – I have had so many issues with them.
You are right about us having to pay that much more though – sometimes i wonder if its worth it but then I look at the things I get and what I would pay for them at Sephora and convince myself to stick with it lol. But I haven’t had the issues you and other have – if I had I would have cancelled long ago.


I have to pick it up from Canada Post, but it was shipped through the US by DHL. Once it was at the border it switched to Canada Post. I’ve never had to pay any extras before either. This is the first. I hope the BoxyLuxe is a decent box considering it will cost me $100. I chose the S’well bottle and Tula, and the Tarte palette looks nice. I’m hoping I get the brushes (I’ve bought them before in Marshall’s and they’re nice quality, wouldn’t mind an extra set of them), the lip pencils look okay. No interest whatsoever in Kylie Skin, but I guess I’ll use it. I didn’t get the email about the wrong Purlisse, so I’m assuming I got the primer or something.

And yeah I’ve had issues with Boxy for the last 3 months. Been a member since about October. It was fine before that. My March Luxe box was underwhelming, but…okay. April was pretty bad, will be giving most of the stuff in my base and premium boxes away as presents. I also didn’t get my choice item in base box – I wanted the Elemis serum and instead got the cleanser, although the cleanser is nice. In May I got the wrong shade of the Trestique concealer and contacted Boxy customer service and they didn’t care at all – not even offering me charms for the trouble, plus waiting for my pop-up order that I’ll likely never get now, and now there’s June. It really is a WTF happened?? kind of thing. Really the only thing that excited me this month was getting the Farmacy honey potion (which I really wanted in my premium box, but instead got the Barbie palette – the last item I wanted out of the Farmacy and 3 palettes). Although the contour palette and Glow Recipe is also pretty nice in my premium box (also got it today, but this one was delivered to my door by CP and didn’t cost a dime extra).

I used to look at all the bad reviews too and think people were just overreacting or a little entitled or just lying because there are people like that online. But seriously the issues I’ve had, and the complete lack of customer service and them just not caring – why should I continue giving them so much of my money when they don’t even care? The last time I got good customer service from them was in April. They gave me $45 in charms to make up for the choice error. I have $85 in charms not from doing some other reviews and other charms they gave me. But April was the last time I got good customer service. It went downhill super fast after that.

Have no clue about 3 lbs. Mine is 2.6 lbs and just moved from pending to an actual location today, with delivery expected Thursday. I’m concerned after reading some of the horror stories this month.


Received my BoxyLuxe that was 2.6 lbs. I let them choose my first item, but I chose the OSEA Gua Sha for the second item. My box is #53, and I think it’s a pretty good one! It includes:

I think this might be one of my favorite BoxyLuxe boxes. Was going to cancel all three, but gosh, I really like the M+G oil and the palette and gua sha and lip pencils…almost all of it.


Mine is 2.59 pds so i wonder if mine and yours are the same? Did you pick the sleep mask and pillow case?

My Boxyluxe hasn’t even shipped yet. Is anybody else still waiting on shipment? I contacted them several days ago and got the “we’re experiencing shipping delays” canned response. I chose the S’well bottle and the Lilly Lashes mascara. I wonder if that is why? I’m starting to get worried. It’s already the 21st!


Mine said it was delivered on 13th at around 1 pm. I remember going out that day at around 3:30 pm and did not saw the box in front of the door….I was late to mail in my concern and now its 10 days…do not know what will happen…
Checked with Fedex…they said the sender has to open a case.

I chose the S’well and Lilly Lashes mascara, too. I received mine last Monday. I’m guessing they’re dealing with delays due to the virus. Hopefully you’ll receive yours soon!


Mine hasn’t shipped. However, I never get shipping or tracking notifications from BC.


Hi – I just received my boxyluxe today and the spoiler boxes shows 7- 8 items – I received 6 and 1 was blue eyeliner and one contour brush. I did not receive my choice items – did anybody else have this happen and do you think if I contacted customer service they would do anything ? Super bummed and feel robbed.

Definitely send them an email. You didn’t receive what you paid for. It actually sounds like you may have received a premium box instead of Boxyluxe. All Boxyluxe boxes this month have 8 items.


OMG. Reading these posts. I ordered 14 ITEMS from the pop-up. They ALL came in the ONE flimsy envelope. I had ordered several of the KeraFix Items including Shampoo and Conditioner, plus 2 leave in treatments. I has also ordered 3 of the Kypress Dew, which are glass bottles. I say this to say that 1, it was an expensive order, and 2, it was WAY too heavy for a manila envelope. One of the Keratin Leave in treatments top popped completely off, and the whole bottle of product dumped completely over everything else in the envelope. I took a pic of each item covered in gunk, made a collage so they were all in once pic, and sent to customer service. I said its supposed to be BOXY charm. Key word – BOX! And I’m certainly NOT charmed. They responded saying that since I didn’t put the picture next to the label as was their policy they couldn’t help. When I responded again in a negative way I was told that upon further review they deem the items except the Leave In treatment usable, and unfortunately that product is no longer available. They credited me $5.50 for the treatment and gave me $1000 charms. In my opinion they should have replaced it all. I wish I could post a pic of the mess they sent, and determined it was a MAIL issue not a packaging issue, which it clearly was. UGHHHH.

I TOTALLY UNDERSTAND WHERE YOU ARE COMING FROM!!! In every single statement!!! The boxes have just gotten so much worse… and it’s not because of the pandemic; it’s because they are spreading their resources too then with all these boxes! In my opinion obviously… and I don’t even know what I got in ANY of my boxes this month and it’s the 17th!!! Not the BoxyLuxe or the Boxy Premium have been delivered and that is just ridiculous AND AGAIN it is not because of the pandemic or the mail; Boxy are not sending my boxes out until 2 weeks after they have taken payment!!! I’m sorry but that’s just not okay. Not to mention like you stated above, the boxes have came such a complete disaster that for the first time EVER (4 years in) I had to complain! I did not even receive the card that comes that tells us the theme or our items or how much they cost so I had no idea what was even missing in my premium last month but I knew something was because I had 2 items!!! Two items packed horribly and just WOW!!! I am relieved to hear that maybe this month might be a little better than the last few but I won’t know until next week (the 22nd and 25th of the month)!!! It will be my last BoxyPremium and BoxyLuxe from me for a while though!!! I pulled the plug! I will keep an eye on the base box (still subscribed to that one) and see if anything gets better but if we continue down this road, resources spread so thin you can’t get on for one good box and you’re subscribed to them all) it’s time to say goodbye, even to the original base box. It will be a sad sad day for me and I hope that they’re wrong and not all good things HAVE TO come to an end!


I got #2 for my box. Kylie skin will go straight to the trash. Yuck. My BB cream is in medium and and I’m light. Bummer !! The Tula and pillowcase I’m excited for. Tarte palette is great. The lip liners are junk. The Purheals looks decent but has essential oils in it which isn’t good for some sensitive skin. Will try it since it’s lower in the ingredient list. The brush set is decent. Got my money’s worth but underwhelmed!

Danelle-Your reaction to the Kylie product cracked me up! LOL it made me want to share this story with you. I recently started selling the stuff I don’t use from my boxes on Mercari. I posted my Kylie face wash on there as soon as I opened my box from Boxycharm. I took a picture of the postcard that came with it just to jazz up my listing. Can you believe someone asked me if I would sell them JUST THE POSTCARD OF KYLIE!?!?! LOL! I was like ABSOLUTELY! I was stunned. 🙂 I guess it shows how different we all are 🙂 Anyway, just thought you might get a kick out of it.

I knew I should’ve canceled when I got rid of Premium last month. But I REALLY wanted the Tarte palette, S’well bottle and most of all, the Purlisse BB Cream. Unfortunately in typical Boxy style….

I got an email last week informing me that I will be receiving the wrong shade of the Purlisse so they’re giving me a $12 credit for the next Pop Up sale. I’m so upset. I’ve been trying to find the right foundation shade for almost a year because Fair/Porcelain shades are too pale but Light ones can be just dark enough to give me that mask look along my jaw. I got a Purlisse sample from Ipsy a while back and was so happy that the Light in it was a perfect match. Unfortunately it’s around or over $40 and with staying home all the time didn’t think I should spend the money. You can imagine my delight when I saw that I might get it in Luxe. Honestly despite liking the other items I mentioned I was ready to cancel Luxe and probably base too until I found out about the Purlisse.
I was beyond disappointed to find out that I was finally lucky enough for once to get one of the good spoilers not guaranteed to all, but it doesn’t matter since I can’t use it.

I don’t understand why they couldn’t either open up my box that hadn’t even been shipped yet (or even had a label created) and fix it or just send me the right shade separately. Because not only does a $12 credit fail to make up for a $40 foundation, it could be a $50 credit but there’s no way I will ever purchase from another Pop Up. I knew Add-on sales were risky (keep reading) but I had no problems with my last pop up sale purchases so I wasn’t aware I was taking such a gamble.

I received several of my items items (I went crazy and bought way too much) this week all thrown into a giant ENVELOPE instead of a box, with no padding whatsoever. One palette was broken with 2 eyeshadow pans empty where the shades crumbled and fell out, a sheet mask had been punctured and slimed up every item in there and a liquid lip had clearly been tested/used before. Oh and instead of the $30+ diffuser I bought they sent a 2nd bottle of $5 bath salts. This was the 4th or 5th shipment from the sale and none had packing slips or papers of any kind inside. Never again will I let myself forget that you get what you pay for. If you’re getting an item 80% off you better believe you’ll pay some or all of the difference in other ways. I wasn’t even tempted to grab the Farmacy or the Glow Recipe I’ve been wanting for ages yesterday. Mainly because I bought a Korres mask at the last Add on sale that arrived in an unpadded envelope as well so it’s box was crushed, inexplicably covered in smudges, stains and faded lettering. As usual no seal but highly irregular was the fact it didn’t even have that thin plastic disc protecting the product from leaking that all skincare jars have. So either because of that or because it was a previously used or damaged product to begin with, there was mask dried and crusted in all the grooves of the screw top lid.

I find it odd that given how much they promoted the S’well bottle there aren’t any variations available to see with it included. I’m going to be even more upset if I don’t get that and/or the eye cream I picked.

Sorry for the long woe-is-me post. I did feel I should share my experiences to warn others though.


Mine also came in a flimsy little yellow envelope for a large order of at least 12 products. Things were dented and luckily only one item arrived smashed but it was just so disappointing to me.


What was the weight of your box?


Have you tried the Too Faced Born this Way Foundation in Pearl? It’s a perfect match for me. Not Snow White white but lighter than most light shades.


Also they have a lighter shade in cloud that is perfect for lighter skin tones. I have a hard time too with finding light enough foundations. I usually have to mix in a white foundation.


1) I received a full sized bottle of shampoo, one of conditioner, a palette that’s heavy, and the paddle brush with boar bristles in the same manila envelope style with a little bit of adhesive.
It arrived open and in a USPS ” We’re sorry” plastic bag. It wasn’t the USPS’s fautl. No one should have accepted the package with the weight and volume in that flimsy paper envelope.

2) It is iMPOSSIBLE for me to get the right shade of Purlisse BB cream. I expect the same would be true for all their foundations as they are geared for golden tones only. Goes on pure yello or orange on me.

I have yellow undertones and most of those are *still* too orange for me.


Last month I had a really crappy box! The only thing I received was the item I chose and everything else was stuff that wasn’t even shown. It was like they just went and grabbed stuff from a old box of leftovers. I emailed them and never received a response.

Nope. None of my 3 boxes have shipped.

Does anyone know about how long the waitlist is for Luxe?


Adding…you won’t receive the ‘regular’ Luxe your first quarter, though. You’ll receive a message stating that your first Luxe will be a Mystery Luxe…read: no telling what you’ll receive. Then, it says you’ll receive the ‘regular’ Luxe in September with two choices.


You should be off of it within 24 hours.

I contacted them because I wanted the S’well bottle. I logged in right after the choice came up and could not get it. If they do not send me one I will cancel.

Not sure if anyone is interested, but I got an email from TRENDMOOD stating that they are relaunching their Volume 4 Trendmood box today @ 10a PST / 1PM EST! For anyone who may have missed out and enjoys Trendmood 🙂


Has anyone who chose the Lily lashes mascara and pillowcase set gotten their box or seen their insert card? I’m dying to know what comes in that variation.

Those are my choices too and I can’t remember if I’ve seen an unboxing yet or not but my weight is 2.5 lbs from what I can remember. Maybe 2.6 Idk. Its close enough lol but either way I did See that SOME variations could also include fenty fairy bomb powder in 24k or something. I doubt we will ever see anyone with that variation though. It is either that or Kylie skin care face wash. So who knows. I’m just curious what’s in mine. I have a feeling its going to be the lily lashes, pillowcase, tarte palette, Kylie skin, teeth pens, photography pencils, BDB brushes, pure heal sleep pack, and one more random item that I’m forgetting but that’s what I’ve mainly seen in most of the boxes. I’m more excited for premium than I am luxe. I just can’t seem to cancel bc I am totally afraid of getting a case of the fomo! 😁😁😁

I just saw an unboxing. It came with Kylie cleanser, Purlisse BB cream, Charcoal brush set, Maelin+ Goetz recovery oil, Bodyography lip pencil duo, Tarte palette, Lily lashes mascara and the pillowcase/eye mask in blush pink.


This box is horrible! I have been with Boxy for 5+ years. I received every Luxe box and I canceled Luxe in May. The boxes started going downhill last March. My March box was terrible. I received repeat Sol De Janeiro items that I got a few years ago. A dark brown lip liner (I’m super pale) and some other very cheap items. I also canceled my Premium subscription. They advertised nice brands and I received junk items. My boxes are still sitting with the products in them from the last few months.

I knew something was going on when spoilers didn’t surface for this box. The palette is the same one from the March box, only a different color. It’s like they’re buying bulk items that aren’t selling from Tarte at this point.


It’s well known Tarte upcycles packaging. So you’ll see palettes with the same shape cases but powder colors are all different, different label applied to the outside therefore it’s a different palette.


Crossing my fingers I get the items in the first box. The two choice items in it are what I chose so hopefully there aren’t too many variations this month…I would love everything in that one!


This box is looking up! I was in mostly for the Tarte palette, which I’ve considered buying forever. The Purlisse is my ride or die BB cream – it’s so good. I hope it’s in all boxes and I hope I get a wearable shade.
