Your Bijoux Box April 2020 Review

While the curator of these boxes, Shana, hasn’t been experiencing any delays due to COVID-19, she is doing something very special during this time. She is offering little care packages that you can send to your loved ones which include 2 pieces of jewelry and 2 bonus items. You can choose gold or silver and the packages come wrapped in ribbon. A cute way to cheer someone up and let them know they’re in your thoughts!

Our jewelry came in this blue satin pouch. Subscribers had two choices for necklaces this month and there were two different earring options as well.

Wanderlust + Co The Bee XL Toggle Necklace – Listed Value $79.00

I was excited to see this necklace in my box this month because…bees! It isn’t often you find jewelry with bees and this necklace is so fun with the accompanying rose charm and the cute toggle design. It’s really unique and so different from anything I own. It measures about 17 inches and is a lot more lightweight than I was expecting. This necklace has 18K gold plating and I think the chain is really fun, too. Subscribers were able to choose between this or the Solis necklace found here.

Here it is on. I really like the length and I was worried the two charms would compete, but I think they complement each other nicely.

Five and Two Sage Necklace – Retail Value $37.00 (currently on sale for $24.00)

We received a second necklace this month and while the first makes a big statement, this one is dainty and delicate and very much my style, combining simulated opal and cubic zirconia. This one is plated in 16K gold and measures 15 1/2 at the tightest setting and 18 inches at the loosest. I love that it can be adjusted for either length. I like wearing it somewhere in the middle. I did try it on with my other necklace, but since they are roughly the same length, they didn’t layer well together.

This necklace is so pretty and comfortable to wear. I probably won’t take this off for awhile!

Five and Two Dahlia Earrings – Listed Value $45.00

These earrings are simple, but they still make a bit of a statement with the fun gold triangle and the simulated opal drop. These are barely a drop at 17 mm long and they are brass plated in 16K gold with steel posts. I like the delicate style again and I think these would look gorgeous with an up-do! Subscribers could have also received the Desi earrings which match the above necklace.

Dainty and pretty!

You can see how well these match the opal in the necklace.

Here are all three pieces together. I love all of the gold!

Rosotena Crystal Collagen Gold Powder Eye Mask

Our gift this month is something that was much needed for my tired eyes. Somehow being stuck inside is even more tiring than usual. Maybe it has something to do with my three kids… These bio-collagen eye masks felt cooling and hydrating on my under-eye area. I didn’t notice a difference in appearance, but at this point, not much is helping these bags! Haha

The Verdict: It looks like the theme of this month’s Your Bijoux Box was lots of gold which I enjoyed! I really love the Five and Two necklace; this is something I would purchase on my own if I had seen it since it’s so cute and delicate. The bee necklace is so fun and interesting and the earrings were a classic style that I can see myself wearing often. The total retail value of the jewelry using the listed price for the Bee necklace and Dahlia earrings comes to $161 ($148 with sale prices) which is great for a $39.99 (with free shipping) box. I love that they always include a little gift in there too, which makes your sparkles feel a bit more special!

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? This box is still available, but hurry—quantities are limited!

Value Breakdown: For $39.99 with free shipping for this box, you are paying approximately $10.00 per item.

  1. I got the same necklace with the bee. I like it but wisher it were a little longer. The more delicate necklace has the jewels in reverse with the clear gem in the middle and ovals surrounding. My earrings are in the same style but the stones are reversed. They match your necklace better. I like this sub, get alot of compliments. I got laid off so I had to cancel and it couldn’t be easier. Shana even sent me a nice return email
I will rejoin when I’m working again. A lot of the months van be mixed amd matched and I like that.

  2. Is any one else wondering how the jewelry will look wearing a face mask?

Lovely pieces. I subbed years ago I wished I would have kept my sub before the price went up.

  3. I’m not sure about how well they swap but I would love the wanderlust necklace and will be looking on the site to swap for it!

  4. Lovely review! 🙂 My thoughts exactly on this pretty box.

  5. I know swapping is paused right now, but does anyone have an opinion on how well the pieces from this box swap? There’s often one piece I like in a box and don’t have people to give jewelry to.
