Style Plan by Frank And Oak Men's Review - March 2020

Kurt in frank and oak clothing holding cat

Since my BF Kurt's cat, Miss Kittens, got a little cameo last month it was only fair that his other cat, Baby, got to be in this month's review. Here she is in Kurt's arms, helping him model a full outfit of Frank And Oak items.

Soft Plaid Lined Shirt in Brown Heather, size small - Retail Value $79.50/Member Price $69.50

This shirt is SO SOFT, super lightweight, and made with 100% cotton. Kurt was a little afraid that it'd shrink too much in the wash (it definitely did shrink quite a bit) but it came out alright and still fits him well. He wears a lot of brown shoes and accessories (like his belt) so this easily matches what he already has and he can sport it with his new jeans for a casual look. This will surely be a nice spring shirt since it's so breathable which will make Kurt's daily walks more fashionable.

Kurt wearing jeans

The Tyler Skinny Jean in Azul, size 31 x 32 - Retail Value $89.50 /Member Price $79.50

Kurt is really happy with these jeans, which are his first pair from Frank And Oak and the skinniest style that they offer. He also noted that he's a Levi's superfan, so the fact that he is so impressed with these says a lot. Kurt is picky about how skinny his jeans are (he likes them slim) and said that they tightened up after washing them (which is good) but kept their length (also good). Made of 99% organic Good Cotton and 1% spandex, this dark wash denim used an eco-friendly alternative to chemical dyes drawn from natural resources via water extraction.

The Jasper Good Cotton Oxford Shirt in Light Blue, size small - Retail Value $59.50/Member Price $54.50

This Oxford (100% cotton also!) is perfect for Kurt to wear to work at his office, even though he's currently been working from home. I definitely see him in button-downs way more than I do tees although this one is a bit more dressy than something he'd wear on a weekend. He said that it fits really well and has a slim cut that he can easily tuck in which is how he rolls at the office. He's looking forward to showing it off there once he's able to go back to work.

kurt wearing black tee

Relaxed Fit Tee in Black, size small - Retail Value $34.50/Member Price $29.50

Kurt was so into the tees he got last month that he really wanted to get more. Here, he chose a black pocket tee that although is relaxed still has a slim fit compared to something from Hanes. Like almost everything else in his Style Plan this month, the tee is also 100% organic cotton and fits like a glove. A great staple to any man's wardrobe!

Calf Length Double Dot Socks in Plum, one size - Retail Value $12.50 /Member Price $11.50

These socks are so gosh darn cute. They're called "double dot" but they look like little eyes all over these deep plum socks with light pink contrasting toes and heels. They're made with 73% organic cotton, 15% Cool-Plus polyester, 7% spandex, 3% elastane, and 2% polyamide. I'm so pleased that Kurt chose some fun socks in his latest Style Plan box that he can wear to work or on the weekends.

The Verdict: Kurt had another great experience with the Style Plan by Frank And Oak this month! He was surprised at how much he loved the jeans since he's so loyal to Levi's and all of the shirts had the perfect fit for his slim physique. I'm especially impressed with the high cotton content of everything and the fact that most of it is organic. These items may be a little more costly than shopping at the Gap, but the materials they use and the quality makes it totally worth it for Kurt.

To Wrap Up:

Can I still get this box if I sign up today? Each Style Plan by Frank And Oak box is catered to your preferences, so you'll most likely have different options than Kurt. The good news is that you can sign up for your own Style Plan to see what the styling team will pick for you!

Value Breakdown: The total retail price for the seven items that Kurt chose is $302.50 but the total price for members came to $272.50 which is a savings of $30.00 for this delivery!

What a cutie and the cats cute too 😉
Thank you for the review, good to know about shrinkage before we buy. Stay healthy and safe! And protect those kitties as I read they are not immune like doggies.

Good looking out about the kitties, Dawn! I read that too.
Oh- I should mention though that Kurt recently told me that he did not read the washing instructions as closely as he should have and that the shirt says to hang dry! That should make quite a difference.
