Society Socks Men’s Review March 2020

This month, Society Socks included a little card asking customers for local charities in need of donations. Society Socks is known for its charity and is asking for help spreading the news.

Okay, onto the socks. Each month, subscribers receive two pairs of socks each featuring their own designs. Usually, one pair will have a quirkier design and the other will be more abstract. All Society Socks pairs are made with an 80% cotton, 15% spandex, 5% elastane blend. There’s no extra cushioning on the sole, so they’re more like formal socks in that regard.

Color Dot Socks

These socks remind me of those candy dots that came on a piece of wax paper. A rainbow of yellow, white, orange, and navy dots repeat over a light blue background, topped by a bright yellow ring. There are no dots on the heel or toe. The colors are sure to flash some personality under a formal outfit. The socks are fun, bubbly, and sweet.

Deep Blue Seaweed Socks

This next pair is the more mature of the two. They feature teal accents on the top, heel, and toe, which pair nicely with the seaweed-like shapes running horizontally. The abstract shapes alternate teal and lavender over a navy blue background. These would be nice for a trip to the aquarium, a nautical-theme party, or just curling up with a copy of Moby Dick.

Verdict: Society Socks are comfortable, nicely made socks that help add some flair and personality to my – literally – black and white sock drawer. My wife is enamored with the quirky designs. In fact, I’m sure they will “go missing” before long. They’re fun, but not so over the top that they’d be out of place in a board room or fancy party. This is my first experience with Society Socks, but I hear they wash well. I will report back with my own findings after a few wears-and-washes.

  1. Carlos can you model them? My boyfriend is particular where they hit on the leg.

    • Kristin,

I just finished my April review and I modeled the socks just for you. The designs will be different, but the socks size is the same. Since the review is not currently approved yet, I will tell you I am 5’9″ and the socks come 2/3 up to my knee. Look for the review soon, where I show a bit of leg. Thank you for my first comment and I apologize for taking so long to get back to you.
