March 2020 Nourish Beauty Box Review

Now, on to the items!

Nourish Naturals Cocoa Glaze in ‘Stillness’, 4 ml – Retail Value $16.00

I thought this shade might be too nude to wear, but it is actually so pretty on! I think it works because it is a sheer gloss rather than a solid shade. It actually enhances my already pink pout beautifully, and the shea and vitamin E formula is very moisturizing.

This is a very easy shade to wear.

Peony Cosmetics Shadow Trio – Retail Value $18.00

I always think these little trios are so tiny for the price, but at least the pans themselves are pretty sizeable. These three shades are very wearable too. There is a champagne, chocolate, and bronze and all are a wonderfully smooth shimmer formula. I did find these applied better with fingertips. The two lighters shades also make really pretty highlighters.

Here is the trio swatched!

Klei Beauty Coconut Milk & Rice Bran Cleanse Foaming Face Wash Mini, 1 oz – Retail Value $12.00

I thought this was a clay mask at first glance, but it is actually a cleanser. Simply add water and massage into your face. I didn’t notice much of a foaming sort of action but I did feel super clean after rinsing the off. This might be a great way for someone like me with drier skin to make better use of clay in their routine without stripping their skin. I do think this could also probably be used as a mask too, or at least a spot treatment!

La Bloom Beauty Hair Refresher, 35 g – Retail Value $19.00

Our final item is sort of like a dry shampoo. This formula is made from powdered arrowroot and smells like eucalyptus. The bottle has this really cool pump that allows you to spray the powder without using aerosol, which is quite nice! I have dirty blonde hair and I found this formula to disappear into my roots and suck up unwanted oil in the process. I really liked it! The only thing I don’t love is the price tag for the size of the product.

Verdict: This month’s Nourish Beauty Box has an overall value of $65 which is a little over double the cost of the box. I liked everything here this month, though I do think the sizes were very small. I also think the shades of eyeshadows could have been a little more exciting, but the formula was nice and the small size actually makes it perfect for a purse on the go. I loved the lip glaze and was also impressed by the face cleansing clay and the hair refresher. This box might have benefitted from just one more item.

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No. The 25th of every month is the cutoff.

I love natural/vegan beauty products, Korean skincare, unique jewelry, and weird candies from far away places. When I am not waiting for my next exciting box you can find me painting or taking photographs of interesting people. I never leave home without pug hair somewhere on my shirt and a bold lipstick on my smile.

Since stay-at-home orders are in effect and my uni classes are online, I’m staring at all my makeup wondering what I’m gonna do with it all for the next few weeks/months haha!
This box looks alright but I agree that it could benefit from another item. This seems like a good staple box
