Ipsy Glam Bag May 2020 Choice Time + New Subscriber Deal!

I went with the Tarte SEA Jelly since I wanted it over the Tarte lip glosses. Hopefully, I will get to add-on the Yensa, Dream cream and Goldfaden.

I picked Goldfaden MD. I tried another product from this brand before and really liked it, so curious to see how this one performs.

Is everyone buying like crazy this month because of boredom? I don’t remember everything selling out like this before (all the duos and deals, I mean).

I picked the concealer because I’ve never received that in a bag before (also never found one that I actual like, so who knows lol).

More interested in the bundle that I picked up with the sunscreen serum. I am almost out of my Unseen Sunscreen and don’t really like it (or the price), so I am looking forward to trying this one.

Well I had to cancel my IPSY account today. I received an email saying that someone in the Philippines had logged into my account and if it wasn’t me that I should change my password. I do not feel comfortable having my personal information on the website anymore. This is very disappointing since I’ve been with them for quite a while and I really did enjoy receiving the monthly subscription.

The tarte jelly glaze wasn’t even available to me this morning. I swear I get the email and right away everything I want is gone

I chose the concealer because I can always use a good concealer and it seems like a lot of people really loved the Yensa products from past bags. But I hope I get a Tarte lip gloss or lip mask in my bag or as an add on. I wouldn’t be upset getting any of the 4 Tarte products this month.

I chose the Yensa concealer. The only other thing that I liked was the Tarte lip mask. I have so many lip products though that I don’t need more. I can always use concealer because I go through it so quickly, plus i wanted to try something from Yensa. Interested to see what else I get.

I’m always on the hunt for a new nighttime moisturizer so I choose OneKind. I did a little research on it and it looks decent.

When shopping add-ons, reminder that a ton of brands are having major sales right now to keep afloat due to coronavirus! I found that for a lot of the bundles I was drawn to for just one item, I could get that one item for way cheaper buying directly from the brand. The Balm is one with mega sales on right now!

I got the Goldfaden even tho it looks teeny tiny, nothing else appealed to me.

I disliked every choice . I chose surprise me hopefully they follow my profile or I may just skip .

I love Yensa so happy to try the concealer but I am obsessed with this bag it will be a staple for me it is so pretty!

In an attempt to avoid another black eyeliner, I chose the mascara. Hoping that they won’t put a second black eye product in the bag. If this bag comes with another black eyeliner, I will update my “no” items…. again. I am proud that I just said “no” to the additional offers.😊

I thought the back of my card said if the choice was on the 25th but happy to choose roller lash that’s my favorite mascara

Didn’t care for any of the choices this month. I’m on overload on lip stuff and mascaras. I wish they would offer eyeliners in something besides black. I have at least 10 black eyeliners from them. Also why do all the eye shadows have to have shimmer? If only they would offer a sandy/neutral all over shade in matte. Almost every single eye shadow they send me is shimmer.
I think this may be my last Ipsy bag.

I chose the Tarte lippy in “Sail Away”. It’s a nice size for travel and I love that shade. I really hope my bag also includes the First Aid Beauty Arnica cream. That would be wonderful.

I couldn’t resist getting the benefit mascara. I recieved it before and really like it. Got the Huda palette with eyeshadow brushes in the flash sale.

I went for the concealer! And did major damage on the add-ons which I never do.
Had to keep refreshing and adding & removing from my cart to get the site to work but I got what I wanted! They have some great stuff at amaaazing prices.. got 3 of the $5 sets (pampering sheet masks, glossy mauve lip duo, & blush and brush duo) and 2 of the $16 bundles (both the ones with huda palettes).

I picked the concealer in Fair Cool. Ipsy almost never has concealers in my shade available for choice, so it was a no-brained.

BTW, anyone else experiencing major tech difficulties with the flash sale? I was using the app, and kept getting an error that read “breaker open.” When I opened the site in a browser, I kept having to refresh. It eventually did work, but when I removed something from my cart, it again needed to be refreshed a dozen times – and when I finally got it back, the item I’d tried to take out was still there. 😒 I REALLY wanted the Stella & Dot roller/Purlisse duo, so I didn’t want to chance it by taking the other item out again, so I went ahead and confirmed my order – and nothing happened. Tried again and I got the message that Ipsy was “already processing [my] order.” Sure enough I got an email confirmation, but it showed that the item I’d tried taking out I was now getting TWO of. WTH?! I’m definitely contacting customer service over this.

Wow! Those are the exact choices I had except for the shade of concealer. My option for concealer is actually much darker than my profile. So, although I would love to try it, it’s not available to me in a shade that will work for me. Now I’m hoping I don’t get it.
There’s so much there that does not fit profile at all.

Wow, this was a tough choice! I LOVE the Tarte glosses so I hope they are available as add-ons, but I chose the concealer because the shade Fair Cool actually looks like it will work for me and that is so rare with my pale skin!
