I am beyond frustrated with Glossybox. I ordered the April box on 4/2, and they never charged my credit card, but in my account it said the box was shipped the same day I ordered it, which I found odd but thought it to be a website glitch.
On 4/15 I cancelled my account to avoid getting charged for May and I saw a commenter on another post mention she was told by CS that if you cancel your account, you’re also cancelling your April box order. I decided to check up on that and noticed that I STILL hadn’t been charged for my April box, so I sent an inquiry to CS. I got one reply from a real person assuring me that I would still get my April box and she had no answers as to why I haven’t yet been charged for it. I followed up asking if she’d found anything out, and I instead received an email stating that my order couldn’t be cancelled as it’s being shipped out. What the heck — I didn’t want to cancel the April box, just my recurring subscription! And I still haven’t been charged for it! I waited a bit and sent another email stating this, I want the box, not any other box, and why haven’t I been charged. They sent her another email that I cannot cancel the April box as it’s “being shipped”. I’m extremely annoyed and not getting any answers. Just let me know so I can move on already!
Moving forward, I will never subscribe to them again. Terrible CS. I was so excited for this box too. 🙁
