We have an update for the May 2020 Fabulous You Box. (Thanks for the heads up, Amanda & Melody!)

The May box will not include the KEDMA Firming Face Cream:

With today's new normal of social distancing and with self-care being a top priority, we have made the decision to change some brands/products in our May Box and curate it to be more focused on just that...SELF-CARE! Our goal is to make this the MOST FABULOUS Self-Care box you'll ever receive!

With that being said, our first announcement is that we will NOT be featuring the KEDMA Firming Face Cream that we announced as our first May spoiler. If you would like to see KEDMA featured down the line, please let us know and we will bring them back for a future feature. For now, we feel it is not the right time as we need to make room to fill this box with all the special, uplifting and fun self-care surprises we have planned for all of you in May.

Because we want to make this box extra special for all of you, our next announcement is our May box will now GREATLY EXCEED our normal promised retail value of $400 and it will ALSO EXCEED our normal promised product amount of 8-20 products. This box will go WAY ABOVE & BEYOND what we would normally ship! More details on all this and the first spoiler are all coming next week.

Our last announcement for today is wjust reduced our quarterly price from $165 to $155 per quarter for anyone who orders our May Box in the month of April (or while supplies last). This will lock you in at $155 per quarter for the duration of your membership.

We are so excited about this box and cannot wait to share it with you! Remember to keep an eye out for more details and our first spoiler next week.

On behalf of everyone at Fabulous You Box, our hearts go out to all those impacted by COVID-19—this not only includes those diagnosed with the virus, but also their friends and family and those whose jobs and schools have been impacted and so many more. We're all in this together...stay well, stay safe and thank you for your support!

Fabulous You Box is also reducing the cost of the box to $155 for a limited time. Sign up during April to lock in the $155 per quarter price for the duration of your membership!

Just speaking for myself, as I know we all have different opinions on what a good box is. If this box is anything like the last box, I wouldn’t give them 50 bucks for it. It was such a hodge podge of things I consider clutter.

Nothing about $10 refund for those that paid $165.

Seriously? Zo’s comment was perfectly reasonable and unemotional. You, on the other hand, have sounded borderline hysterical (and not in the funny way) in all your posts from recent days. I am not sure what is going on in your life that has led to you lashing out at everyone here, but I hope you are able to find peace soon.

I was interested until I saw that then said nope must be a junk box. But now that they pulled it i think that shows integrity on their part so now I’m back in. Boxy should take a lesson from them

I have to applaud them for possibly taking in the Kedma criticism and proceeding accordingly. The cream and the company were questionable. It was the reason I bowed out, but now I’m totally intrigued. A new spoiler would be awesome…

Face cream is self care. But ok. I guess they just didnt want to say the real reason they arent including it. This box always sounds like a used car salesman pitching some BS, like it’s customers are stupid. I dont trust them.

So, am I super gullible because this makes me want to purchase this box? I was thinking it was the next Luxor prior to this. But after 5000 days of isolation, I’m thinking I might want this.

It’s from the same person who started Luxor box. She sold it but it’s the same idea and the same price point. I wouldn’t give them my money.

The social isolation is getting to me I’m thinking I may go for this. Still think the price should be lowered a bit more. First box – the jewelry really was lovely. It wasn’t a bad box. Just not a great one. And so tired of spongelle.

They probably had a lot of cancellations with the KEDMA product. I know I cancelled because if it. I am open to resubscribing if I like the new spoilers.

I have never heard of KEDMA, but I really dislike firms IN ALL CAPS.
Is it a bad product, bad firm?

If you have the time to waste (and a lot of us do at the moment) you’ll find tons of really bad reviews about KEDMA. It is an average product at best, and no one seems to know why it’s RV is so high, and their business practices seem to have come under fire as well. That said, I once bought a moisturizer like the KEDMA product for pennies on the dollar, just to see if it was incredible and to see if I got a bargain, and I ended up annoyed that I had even spent the $50 or so for that rubbish. It wasn’t a great product, and I would have been happier spending $29 on something from Walmart. This is just my opinion, though.

Sounds like someone got cold feet with all the negative talk about Kedma. Whether it was Kedma that got the cold feet or Fabulous You is unclear here. But no matter! As a wordsmith, though, I just have to laugh at the verbal gymnastics of “we feel it is not the right time as we need to make room…” Looking forward to seeing spoilers that they will not later feel it’s not the right time for.

errmmm

“Verbal Gymnastics” might be the best phrase I’ve ever heard. In my life. Like, ever.

Thank you,

Thank you dear! I just hate when companies treat the customers as idiots. Customers don’t mind hearing the truth. In fact, we LIKE hearing the truth, because it says something about how the company conducts itself. The verbal gymnastics also say something about how the company conducts itself.

(Or maybe someone at Fabulous You tried one of the Kedma products and it was way expired upon opening.)

Stephanie

I had a chuckle with this post too. Isn’t moisturizer part of a self-care ritual? Self-care is taking care of yourself.

Why not say we received so much negative feedback from our first product we decided not to include it. I’m interested to see their version of self-care, I bet it will include moisturizer.
