I received my Trendmood OH takeover box yesterday evening! It was a great pleasant surprise and made up for my not being able to make it to WF’s yesterday (son had a 10am doctors appointment 45 min away).
It is worth the $60 I think. I’ve been wanting to try the banana bright eye cream forever and ‘needed’ a nice vitamin C serum. Excited to try everything really except for the pore mask but I can gift it so it’s all good. :))

It said sold out within three minutes of going live but I was able to grab one at 1:03 so they apparently are sporadically updating their inventory. That or I am going to get an email soon apologizing and stating they sold out… Hopefully not.

How do you purchase these? If you go to their website, they want your email then will email you when its available? How come others know the release date already? Maybe I need to look on Instagram. I hardly ever use that.

So this post seems to indicate that the whole box will be available for purchase at Sephora and Ulta but I don’t think this is correct, given the spoilers on Instagram. The Banana Bright Vitamin C Serum is a new product that isn’t available in stores yet–it’s launching in this takeover box. If you want the whole box, you’ll need to purchase it on the 27th.

Banana powder is the term for yellow-toned setting powder used for color correction; the original was made by Ben Nye. It’s popular in the beauty world, especially for baking your concealer with. “Banana powder-inspired pigments” just means the primer has color correction properties.

thanks charlotte, that makes so much sense! I knew this at one point but for some reason my mind wouldn’t let go of the image of some intense ole henriksen meeting with a pile of powdered bananas on a conference table and a bunch of executives staring at it 🤣🤣🤣

Those of us who have cats hear “banana powder” and think of the Yeowww-brand cat toys that look like bananas and are stuffed with catnip powder. But I don’t like the smell or taste of bananas. I adore the Ole original vitamin C serum, without banana inspiration.

I’m staying strong. Watching all my spending, pouring more into savings. I want at least a year’s worth of expenses in liquidity. I’m on my way to it with a dedicated account. Are these ‘things’ nice? Absolutely. Do I NEED them? Absolutely not. Going to use all the products I already have in-hand.

It did say it would be available on sephora.com on 3/31 and at their stores 4/4. Maybe that will help unless it sells just as quickly there.
