Originally I wasn’t going to get any of these, but I talked myself in to travel one after reading reviews on here. Mainly because of the deodorant. It’s on the way coming next week.

Just got in and picked up my skincare box. It’s the smallest box yet, but it’s kinda cute. I knew 2 of the Vichy products would be foil packets which I’m fine with these because I’m familiar with it and I know these will be perfect for an overnight. The Vichy cream is 15mls. Nice! The CeraVe cleanser will work great for travel as well. Same with the CeraVe facial moisturizer and eye cream but the sizes are so tiny and I’m not familiar with them so I think I’ll just use those at home. Probably have to cut them open. I will find the La Roche-Posay hydrating cleanser useful as well. I’m low on cleansers. The La Roche-Posay mineral sunscreen looks familiar. Think I got this from Birchbox??? Anyway, it’s SO teeny tiny, it’s not enough to cover your face. So I think I paid $7 for 2 travel size cleansers, a decent size Vichy product and a few squirts of other samples. But, at least I will use it all.

The tiny box is very cute. It’s different from the usual Target beauty box size so it lends itself to organizing smaller items than what you might store in the usual Target beauty box.

Both boxes arrived today. Vitchy is just okay. Was not expecting huge sample amounts.
Out of Office box was great. All box items will be good for our upcoming cruise (whether we go as planned in May or if this virus thing continues to cause havoc to travel and it ends up being cancelled).

I got the out of office box today – I love it! I was unsure about the deodorant from it’s description, but it’s got a lovely rose scent. I’ve also been eager to try the Thayers mist. A definite win for me!

I got the skin care box today. Very disappointing! The CeraVe cleanser is completely empty, and the tinted sunscreen leaked. I knew that two of the Vichy Products might be foil packets, but never thought they would be so flimsy with practically nothing inside. I’ve never had an issue with a Target box before, but I will definitely think twice before ordering again.

Agree! I got both boxes and while the OOO/spring break one was great with full sized deodorant and proper travel sized items, ie ~3oz, the seem box was a waste! CeraVe cleanser was almost empty as well as foil packs dry and sample sizes of the others barely enough for one use! Target boxes are so hit or miss!

Adding to my previous post: I just opened everything, and the eye cream is empty too. All of the samples are pretty sparse to begin with, but the eye cream and cleanser are literally bone dry. And the amount of product in the foil packets is useless. I really loved the lip box last month, but this one was a total fail for me.

That’s the one I ordered. It arrived yesterday but I couldn’t get to it. I’ll pick it up today. As long as I can get one use out of a foil packet, I’ll be fine with that. If items are empty, I won’t be fine with it. I buy these boxes for travel. The tiny ones work perfect for overnight trips.

I was just about to mention the Ulta free gift of day with 60.00 purchase!

JuJu

I guess those companies are getting rid of some of their stock.

JuJu

Ha, practically all of the skincare items (and more) are available as a free gift on Ulta right now. I am getting it.

La Roche-Posay Hydrating Gentle Cleanser (0.5 oz)
La Roche-Posay Toleraine Ultra Night Moisturizer (0.06 oz)
La Roche-Posay Toleraine Ultra Moisturizer (0.06 oz)
La Roche-Posay Toleraine Ultra Eyes (0.06 oz)

I’d still rather pay 7.60 and get it from Target. That’s a great deal from Ulta if you’re already planning on spending $60+ there

Reply ButtonReply

JuJu

Well, besides, you can’t really compare the value – there is so much more in that free gift.

JuJu

I had a lot of rewards points, actually, was waiting for a good time to spend them. Got the whole thing for free.

JuJu

Oh, items 2 and 4 from the bottom that don’t have a brand mentioned are CeraVe.

Usually the shipping doesn’t come up on these boxes but in my cart it won’t take off the shipping. I don’t feel like having to call CS to get them to remove it. I’ve bought these in the past and never experienced this glitch before.

Mine didn’t have a shipping charge… Are you part of red circle or whatever that thing is? I’m not sure if that is why my shipping is free….

But yeah having to contact someone to take off shipping charges would definitely be annoying!

Yay, I received my Target boxes today! Such fast shipping! I ordered two of each.

The two samples people were wondering about are indeed foil samples. They are so light that they feel like there is nothing in them (not opening them yet).

The skincare box is smaller than normal and most of the samples are quite small.

The travel box seems to be a little bigger and heavier than normal. And nothing leaked or anything like that but when I opened it there was a really nice scent coming out of the box. Maybe a flowery-cinnamon? Was it the deodorant? Not sure. But it smelled lovely.

Cons: Skin care samples are mostly small, some feel “barely there” and the boxes are not very pretty this time around. I have liked the designs on many of the other Target boxes.

Pros: Shipping was extremely fast, and the travel box appears to have weight to it, so if those are items you will use, it seems a good value for the money.

BEST PART: The included coupon does NOT expire this same month as some of the other coupons have done. It is a $3 off coupon on a $15 or higher beauty purchase that can be used through June 30th! Which for me means a discount on the next few month’s Target boxes (if I buy at least 3 at one time).

Overall pretty happy with the value to me. 🙂

The coupon in my Skincare box expired 2/2/20! Realized it when I tried to use it online. So I had to use my “clean up your beauty routine” one that had the longer date like you mentioned. Double checked to be sure it was indeed a “new” box for March. Tried live-chatting with customer service which went NOWHERE. Oh well. Now I’m worried I need to check and be sure my samples even have product in them when I get home tonight! Anyone else get the dud coupon?

Thanks for the info! 😀 I was hoping someone would post once they received the boxes.

Have not ordered a Target box in some time – Just did not have that oooh, I gotta have it item…until now

Really like some of the Vichy line items and the Aqualia Thermal, which is great in the winter — sample size alone runs more than the cost of the box.

At 10:05 this morning, got my alert from Target that my box has already shipped!!

Laura

These 2 look like the foil packets that I have right now- same design.
Vichy Mineral 89 Fortifying & Hydrating Daily Skin Booster
Vichy Mineral 89 Eyes Hyaluronic Acid Eye Gel Cream

They are foil packets. While I am sure the skincare box is worth $7, it was not very impressive. The other box is quite a value. I love all that stuff, and the deodorant smells nice and is full size! I tore the tape off of the facial spray and gave myself a good misting when I got home from work at 11:00 tonight. Love.

Dawna

I love how differently we all look at the value and usefulness of different boxes. When it comes to some skincare, I don’t mind the foil packets. Sometimes they are quite convenient for me. Due to the fact that I have to travel regionally, travel sizes of familiar products are the reason I chose to purchase the skincare box. I’m usually only gone one or two nights but mostly, it’s not with much notice. My travel size stash boxes are target boxes is on a shelf above my travel toiletry bag. I use Ipsy bags to organize.

Gina

I got a Dermatologist Skincare box, because while it’s not particularly exciting, these brands are GREAT for my very sensitive skin with rosacea.

I don’t agree abt foil sample because I looked at old target beauty box haul on YouTube . All are only travel size looking like at least 2oz. It ain’t in foil but container. None of those old nails show that vichy has foil. Often old target box haul is recycled

as long within expiration date, just like Sephora play!

Reply ButtonReply

JuJu

At least 2oz? I don’t see how that’s possible, the full sizes of the Vichy Mineral 89 face and eye products are 1.69oz and 0.5oz, respectively, and if the Vichy items in this box were full size, the value of the box would have been around $100.

Reply ButtonReply

Dawn

The box arrived today. The Vichy are both foil samples.☹️

Stacie

Definitely snagged the Spring Travel one as soon as I got the push notification from Target this morning. That deodorant is “my” deodorant, and I love the fact that there’s (hemp) oil in it rather than the versions without (goes on smoother). I think I’ve given away all my dry shampoo, right when I’m curious about trying it again.

Reply ButtonReply

Caroline

Just an fyi, I’ve tried the Not Your Mother brand dry shampoo and if you have dark hair it is not a good idea. Took weeks to get out all the white residue.

Reply ButtonReply

Makaroni

Feel like I am giving up regular dry shampoos now since they leave tons of residue in my hair and clothes. Last one I bought was batiste(I have tried the brand before) and that one is just what the heck on my head, it’s like getting old in seconds after dry shampoo. I want to try the new dove that doesn’t leave residue.

Boxy Fox

I love Schmidt’s and they’re way way better than Tom’s.

Reply ButtonReply

Rachelle

Thank you everyone for the foil packet info. This is why I always check comments here before making a purchase.

Reply ButtonReply

JuJu

I would guess that the Vichy Aqualia (the one on top in the pic) is a deluxe size, but then it doesn’t exactly make me excited enough to buy.

Reply ButtonReply

Emilia

Nothing interesting for me here.

Reply ButtonReply

cheryl

Nothing I would use. My hair does not Nexus which they have had already or dry shampoo. And they have had those skin care samples befre,

The Whole Foods is much better deal as they have full sizes, I’ve been wanting to try the Mad Hippie Vitamin A Serum. But my WF is awful, I doubt if I will get one after work.

Reply ButtonReply

Meryl

What offer does Whole Foods have

Reply ButtonReply

JuJu

Gosh, so boring. And are the Vichy items just foil samples?..

Reply ButtonReply

Mik

I have seen 2 different sample sizes of the skin booster weighing in at 4 ml and 5 ml. One sample came i a tube and the other in a small pump bottle. So, there is hope.

Reply ButtonReply

Liesl

I bought the derm box. I would have loved to purchase the other box for the Nexxus products and the facial cleanser, but have no interest in dry shampoo, facial mist and the deodorant. Then again, the $7 purchase price might be worth it for just the 3 items I’m interested in.

I’m ashamed to admit I checked my phone at 2am this morning to see if the boxes had been posted…they had not…

Reply ButtonReply

Dawna

Lol! That is so funny! Feel no shame as I have done the same! 😂

Reply ButtonReply

Paula

Pass. The first box is just more of the same. The second box are super small skincare samples that would just sit in my drawer. Wish they had more makeup.

Reply ButtonReply

Arushini

I like the Spring Travel box. However, I would’ve preferred a shower gel instead of two dry shampoos. A shower gel would’ve made the travel box complete.

Reply ButtonReply

Enid

I hot the derm one with a 2$ credit at target 🙂

Reply ButtonReply

Tin Lizzy

Ho hum…come on Target, your boxes used to be fun.

Reply ButtonReply

Cookie

The travel box is boring but very practical and useful. Will probably end up ordering it.
