Ipsy Glam Bag April 2020 Choice Time!

Ipsy articles for the month of April are up! They contain some new spoilers for April items!

I believe these are for the original glam bag due to their sizes, but they could also be for Ultimate:
– Aromatica Calendula Juicy Cream
– Nomad Tuscany eye shadow in
Cantucci
– Space Case Fakecation Bronzer
– Context nail lacquer in Slow Down
– Hey Honey Tone it up! Herbal Toner
– Helios nail polish in Livin’ Lovely (not 100% sure about this one, since it has appeared in a past bag)

Overall, these look good to me! I would not mind a bag made up of any 5 of these!

I don’t get paid until the 2nd of April…so looks like I will be skipping next month. I like the bag, but prefer to stay out of the negatives.

Just wanted to make sure everyone knows Ipsy moved up the timeline for add-ons for April because of covid-19. It will begin on March 30th.

I picked glossier never tried any of their products before and have been wanting to

I picked the Nomad shadow, a pretty shade for spring/summer and I like their formula. I get a lot of primers/moisturizers, normally, so hoping the Glossier product will come in my bag or be an add-on option. I’ve never tried any of their products but hear they are good.
I also picked up a hand sanitizer/moisturizer duo offered in the $5 options as well as the FAB/Seraphine primer duo. I love that FAB coconut primer! iPSY turned me on to FAB and I love that brand.

I almost skipped but decided I’d try the Oryza liquid eye shadow, even though I can’t find it on their site.

I picked skincare for my 2 bags. Glossier and Youth To the People.

I thought choice was on the 25th. I never got the option to choose, because It never showed up on my app. Wow.. crazy

I don’t like any of the choices to pick for me. I have combo skin and that moisturizer looks too heavy. Oh well surprise it is.

I picked the scrub. The concealer was not an option for me as well. I really hope I get the eyeshadow palette or one of the masks in my bag!

I ended up just getting the Nomad eyeshadow because I love the shade and their eyeshadows are perfect for my makeup in the car kits. Might have gone for the shadow quad if it had a better light to mid-dark range rather than four medium tones.

Also I worry if I pick something more expensive they’d balance out the bag with cheaper stuff.

I opted for the nomad shadow. I like the formulation and this looks like it’s right in my color palette. I’ll be very interested to see what gets paired with it, because I’m not crazy about any of the other choices.

I picked the Kokie concealer, but I had a hard time deciding between that and the YTTP mask. I ultimately picked the concealer as I have an abundance on masks right now.

Oh man, I completely intended to skip this month, but these are too good to pass up. I had a hard time choosing, but eventually picked the Oryza Foiler Alert shadow; I love rose gold tones and tend to do minimal, one-and-done eye looks, especially in the summer. Also, getting a full size product worth $25 is a great deal.

I’d be extremely happy to see the Glossier, Christophe Robin, and YTTP products in my bag, too. At the very least, I hope they’re add-on products.

I also bought the full-size Glamglow cleanser/Purlisse primer duo in the flash sale. I received the cleanser in my September GBP, loved it, and literally just finished it last week, so getting another one for less than half of retail price – with an additional product – is a steal.

Sigh, I was trying to save money with all the uncertainly in the world right now, but Ipsy has a way of making me pull my wallet out.

Glossier for me. I’ve never tried their products

I want with the Glossier item. I love getting good quality skincare items in my bags / boxes.

I chose the hair scrub. I got it in Allure and have been searching for similar on the cheap in vain ever since. I was so bummed it was not offered as add on last month.

I picked the Oryza liquid shadow. Pretty summer shade for when I finally have somewhere to go to wear makeup again. Also it’s a full sized product valued around $25. The Kokie concealer is one of my favorites though!

So many good choices! I picked the scalp item because I have a very sensitive scalp and I currently don’t have anything for it. But I also want that Glossier primer and the YTP mask. Hoping I get both of them

I was going to experiment with not choosing this month, but the only thing I like in the spoilers is the CR scrub and I got that in Ultimate last month, so unless I pick it, I won’t get it. This is probably a good month to skip.

I didn’t care too much for most of these choices. I would have picked the Kokie if it had been one of my choices. I ended up with the setting powder. It’s one of the products I run out of the most so even though I have a few, it will without a doubt get used. Maybe? Lol. I put on a full face just to go to the gas station the other night. 🤷‍♀️
