Heart + Honey Queen Bee Box February 2020 Review

cover of info csrd with gorgeous peacock

This month’s Heart + Honey is the “Paradiso” box. I love the beautiful peacock and floral design!

Always included is an info card with product and theme information.

Mayana Chocolate Sampler Box, 4 pieces – Retail Value $10.00

Hello, chocolate. I love you. This sampler has 4 really amazing chocolates inside: toasted coconut, Mayan spice, fleur de sel, and birthday cake. I indulged in the fleur de sel and birthday cake, both of which were delicious! Will tasted the coconut and the spice and he happily gave two thumbs up.

Royal Eye Earrings

Wow, these are stunning. Gold plated and with a charming green apatite stone in the middle, these earrings are an abstract design inspired by a peacock feather eye. I also think they remind me very much of Art Deco designs. I see myself wearing these very often, especially with more minimal looks.

I think these are stunning.

Mangiacotti’s Jasmine Plum Whipped Body Wash – Retail Value $18.95

A beautiful bath or body product is pretty standard in this subscription, and I always love the brands included. This whipped body wash is made in the US and finished by people who have disabilities through the See The Good Project.

Our products have been made in the USA for over 20 years and packaged by people with disabilities. We are also aware that these products that we make today will affect our planet for future generations. Because of this awareness, we’ve focused our energy and resources on “greening” the Mangiacotti Collection. It is of the utmost importance for us to meet the growing demand of products that are kind to Mother Earth.

Our collection design was inspired by the incredible people with special needs who package our products. Watercolor is their favorite medium in the art program we support. The beauty and simplicity of their artwork reflects the heart of Mangiacotti. Our products are made with recyclable materials and plant-based formulas that are hand-crafted with essential oils. They are never tested on animals, are proudly made in America and finished by people with special needs.

I love all of this! It also helps that this product itself is great. It has a floral scent with a layer of dark fruit that really works well. I love the nozzle which creates a texture that reminds me of whipped cream. My skin felt awesome after washing this off and the scent clung to my skin beautifully.

Mangiacotti’s Jasmine Plum Mini Lip Repair, 3 pack – Retail Value $6.50

This trio of mini lip balms also arrived in our box and they have the same delicious scent as the body wash. I love the cuteness factor of these little balms, and that since there are three I have one for my car, purse, and desk!

The Pillow Talk Kinky Vibrator – $78.00

Finally, the toy this month! This powder blue vibe is made of silky smooth silicone and features silver and Swarovski crystal elements. It is also the sort with a dual motor for both internal and external stimulation at the same time. The smaller motor tip has little digits that move with the vibrations, providing sensitive areas with a little extra attention. It also has 4 different motor options which include alternating motors, both at the same time, or a pattern between both. You can hold the large crystal button on the end down and scale up the intensity just like the volume on a TV! This is one of the strongest vibes I have seen come from this box!

Verdict: Heart + Honey is always a highlight of my month. This box is always well-curated and full of high-quality items that I love. I am especially smitten with the gorgeous earrings this month, even though I know the jewelry is likely not the main reason most of us *cough* subscribe to this one. The vibe itself was also really intense and beautiful. Who says the things that make you feel good can’t also look good? The body wash and lip balm were great additions and I love that they came from a company with ideals I can get behind. And chocolate too? I am in love.

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No, your first box will likely be the In Bloom-themed March box. Normally your subscription will start the month following the month you subscribe, but if there are current boxes still available you may be able to snag one! Heart + Honey will usually reach out when you first subscribe if you have an option.

From Heart + Honey:

Subscription orders are taken from the first day of the month, until the last. Renewals occur on the 15th of the month. Month-to-month subscriptions will renew on a monthly basis, and 3, 6, and 12 month subscriptions will renew in the correlating time frame. So for example, if you were to order a month-to-month subscription on the 12th of April, your first box will ship between the 1st-5th of May. Renewal will happen on the 15th of May.

COUPON: Use code MSA10 to save 10% off any subscription!

Value Breakdown: This box costs $69.99 a month +$7.18 shipping, which breaks down to approximately $15.43 per each of the 5 items.

I love natural/vegan beauty products, Korean skincare, unique jewelry, and weird candies from far away places. When I am not waiting for my next exciting box you can find me painting or taking photographs of interesting people. I never leave home without pug hair somewhere on my shirt and a bold lipstick on my smile.

  1. My March box arrived yesterday. Won’t post spoilers, don’t want to ruin it for anyone, but the jewelry item this month is absolutely gorgeous <3

  2. When is the march box shipping? I am new to the subscription.

    • I got my shipping notice today

  3. Wish they wouldn’t put their company logo on the jewelry boxes, makes it difficult to gift. Also, the toys are starting to feel repetitive after a year. Used to get so excited for this box, but it’s not very different month to month imo

    • I’m kind of feeling that, honestly. I felt like I used to be super wowed by the variety, but now it’s more predictable: a vibrator, a piece of jewelry, and a scented product tend to be the big items in each box.

I realize that they want to appeal to a wider audience and that’s tough when people vary in tastes and, er, anatomy, but I’d love to see a broader selection of items one might find in, er, similar establishments. Not saying this would have to become the floggers ‘n handcuffs box, but I’d love to see their standard of elegance applied to items that might broaden our horizons!

  4. I love the jewelry of this sub. I really want those earrings. I have something similar in silver and I get so many compliments but the gold pair is just stunning.

    • I thought the hero item for February was to me the best vibrator they have sent in the past 5 months to be honest. I liked everything but not a gold fan so not sure I’ll wear the earrings. I liked the curation for March too. I won’t spoil it but I liked everything I got. I feel like I’ve seen boxes that do this but this is the only one that seems to put money into getting not just any items but quality items. Not just cheap vibrators in a no name box made in China but name brand ones and that extends to their home and beauty items as well. I’m a fan lol
