Fabletics is a monthly fitness apparel subscription co-founded by Kate Hudson, which includes a plus size line of their fashionable workout gear! You can shop their line in two different ways—either you can shop through their regular store or sign up as a VIP member. The VIP Membership works like this:
- Take the Fabletics quiz, which will let the company know your size, style, and fitness needs.
- Each month, Fabletics will curate looks that match your preferences. According to the website, outfits start at $24.00 for new members. (I’m not sure if “new members” refers to just your first order, though.)
- Shop those looks at 40-50% off what you’d get just paying retail, or skip the month. You have to make your decision by the 5th of the month. If you do neither, the $49.95 monthly membership fee will be saved to your account as a credit, which you can put towards other outfits later.
- As you shop, you’ll also earn points that can be applied to accessories and other cool fitness essentials.
Unlike a lot of other subscription boxes, you are not automatically sent a package each month. You have to go into your account and either decide to add items to your card or skip it. Subscriptions can be canceled at any time, though you do have to call into Fabletics customer service to do it.

If you want, you can choose to skip the month, and you won’t be charged. I love getting a bundled outfit from Fabletics, it is such a fantastic value! The one frustration I have found in the past is the set outfits and their inability to mix and match. Imagine how happy I was to find that I could select whichever color bra I preferred for this one! I opted for black-- I love it against the grey leggings; so classic and neutral. A black sports bra like this is incredibly adaptable too; I can wear this bra with any pair of leggings and get a variety of different outfits! The High Impact bras are my favorite too since they provide ample support. This bra always passes the test of using the elliptical at the gym-- I always feel comfortable and secure. Stylish, well made, and easy to wear-- you can't go wrong!

Who would think a pair of heather grey leggings could be this great? I mean, when it comes to Fabletics, it is a given, really. Their high waisted Powerhold leggings are my favorite, only topped by their EXTRA high waisted Powerhold style. The fabric has ample stretch and is incredibly soft. They feel nice on and give just the right amount of compression. The high waist ensures I don't have to worry about pulling my leggings up to cover my belly or rump while exercising at the gym. I also love wearing these leggings out and about running errands. Pair with an oversized sweater and sneakers and you are set to go grocery shopping for your second workout of the day!
Verdict: Fabletics continues to be my tried and true when it comes to activewear. My only gripe typically is that they stop at a 3x in plus sizes, but guess what my babes-- they now offer through a size 4x! This is a big deal! I feel like they heard us! I still hope they eventually offer up to a 5x, but this is huge progress. I have also noticed they are working on broadening their selections in the plus section as well. I have especially noticed this in the last few months. It makes me that much more proud to endorse and suggest Fabletics to my friends! This month's box was a great example of this: being able to be able to select the bra color you prefer instead of a set outfit is fantastic! Keep up the great work, Fabletics. Your dedication to improving your products and being more inclusive is being noticed!
