Enchanted Crystal of the Month Review: Patagonia Pink Amethyst
First, you’ll see a greeting from Adam of Enchanted Crystal. I love these personal notes as they explain behind the scenes details. Looks like the team just returned from the Tucson Gem Show!
Our specimen this month is Patagonia Pink Amethyst!

Patagonia Pink Amethyst
FYI: This piece is just under 2 inches square.
This is one of those stones that you kind of have to see in real life to appreciate. The blush shade is nuanced and really, really lovely! It has loads of sparkle from the light hitting the different planes of crystal formation inside too. Why is this amethyst pink instead of purple? No one really knows, but it is likely a combination of different elements within these crystals that shifted the color to a soft blush rather than purple or lilac. I am really happy to add this to my collection, especially since pale blush is one of my favorite colors!
Enchanted Crystal always sends bonus crystals or minerals in a small bag as well.
Good to Know: These are all under an inch long.

Tangerine Matchstick Quartz
Matchstick quartz is a really common bonus material in this subscription, but I tend to find these little shards quite charming. I also use them everywhere around the house, like in candles, my incense bowl, my windowsills, etc. Quartz is a magnifying stone, meaning it is said to enhance its surroundings. I like to scatter these all over, especially in areas of light.

Green Calcite
Calcite is one of my favorite crystals because it almost looks like little chunks of antique glass. This pair in a pretty green is almost transparent, and wonderfully flat on each side.

Blue Calcite
We also were sent some pretty cornflower blue calcite too! These are much more opaque than the green, but are still lovely.
Verdict:Enchanted Crystal sent me such pretty little specimens this month! I am really into the beautiful pink shade of that amethyst. I want to see if I can track down a bigger crystal! I also loved the little bag of bonus crystals and found the color palette this month to be very soft and springy!

I love natural/vegan beauty products, Korean skincare, unique jewelry, and weird candies from far away places. When I am not waiting for my next exciting box you can find me painting or taking photographs of interesting people. I never leave home without pug hair somewhere on my shirt and a bold lipstick on my smile.
That Pink Amethyst is gorgeous! I received a completely different type of crystal in February (my first shipment): Dragon’s Tooth Amethyst. Do they usually send different crystals to everyone in a given month?
