Does anyone but me get excited about these boxes anymore? I dont even like coming on here anymore cause everyone so mad and literally mad about every box.. I still cant afford the stuff in the box so im over grateful for theses subsciption boxes I get to try amazing stuff for cheap prices and its like getting a present every month 🙂 maybe some of you should take a break from them if your not enjoying them anymore !

Nicki

I feel the same. I really enjoy the boxes generally. (Not a fan of lipsticks, that’s about it.) But I still get excited to try new products or even reuse products that I’ve tried before. Esp for the price *shrugs*

Everybody is entitled to there opinion about the products and boxes that they recieve or dont recieve, that is what this site is about. I know its hard to excited about your box when there is alot of negative comments but just skip the comments if they bother you!

I definitely agree everyone is entitled to their opinion but this is my opinion that im stating like everyone else. 🙂 I skip comments every month just choose to say something one time just wishing people were a little more excited instead of always mad thats all..

Benefit is not cruelty free, neither is APPEAL cosmetics which will be in April’s box. I have no interest in beauty products that hurt animals. We need to let boxycharm know!

Why aren’t the choices for April up? They open tomorrow?

I decided to cancel my basic box and my boxyluxe subscriptions because I was unhappy with the 2 products that I received in my boxyluxe sol de janeiro. The sample products wer wrong. Boxy could have given me a full sized spongelle product or kvd anything. I feel duped because it was a product that I have receive before from this box. 2 sample doesnt make a fu sized. I contacted customer service and is waiting to hear back. I’m disappointed and hope that they can fix the problem. Until then I cancelled those 2 boxes and kept the premium… I have been with boxy for years and used to lie their service until all of the drama happened with their products and now 2 samples in a luxury box… I feel cheated. If they dont make this right them.i will cancelled the premium service too.

That is how i felt when i recieved my February base box and recieved two different face wipe cleansers, both travel /mini size. I emailed Boxycharm and told them that neither one was full sized and i basically got two of the same type of product. I decided to cancel after i didnt hear nothing back from CS, after waiting a week and a half.

Alice

It’s suspect that they haven’t had enough spoilers and no mention of choice items.

Beccah

Yes the 10th

Andrea

Guess what guys.. it says you MIGHT get a primer. Not that you will for sure. There are over 40 variations of the original “boxy”. I cancelled for this month because I am so very tired of getting duplicate items, red lippies, palette after palette, and high quality brands that manufacture their products in respective countries and when they decide to partner with boxy, the item that goes into the box is an entirely different formula bc it is mass produced in China specifically for Boxy. I’m sorry but the value is not $300. IT might be 100. Yes it’s still a good deal if you need certain items, but they don’t listen to you’re beauty profile, and even though I cancelled my original boxy, I was on the waiting list for premium, (thought you had to be subscribed to get a premium box) well, they still charged me for a premium box. How much do we want to bet it doesn’t come?

I wish Boxy Charm would put as much effort into shipping February’s Pop Up purchases, as they do trying to lure in new customers.

I wanted to make a gentle suggestion. I have seen a few posts that have stated when they received something they couldn’t use or didn’t like “ It went straight in the trash”
As a volunteer in a battered women’s shelter, I can tell you these ladies have nothing, often they have left all possessions behind for safety’s sake.
Many are having to look for employment, some for the very first time.
Please consider dropping off your unwanted items to the shelter if you do not have a shelter close consider saving what you do not want until you have a box and send it to them.
These ladies would so appreciate these products.

Shari I would Love to donate my products to the women of your shelter. Just tell.me where to send them.and I will. I dont want greatbproducts going to waste.

Reply ButtonReply

Pauline D Evans

Absolutely Shari! I get many items from my sub boxes that I don’t use. I work at a continuation high school. So I box up all my unwanted items and bring them to school with me to let the students take what they want.

Reply ButtonReply

Carla C

I’m 100% with you Shari. Any unusable stuff should go to a womans shelter. We are lucky to be in a position to donate to those who are in need! I love your verbage and gentle tone to encourage all of us to think of others. Just cause I’m annoyed and dont like something that doesnt mean someone else who has much less wont use it. Hugs of kindness and generosity to us ALL!

If I cancelled about 2 weeks ago and resubscribe today for base box, will I get the March or April box?

blondie1021

You would get the March box.

Grrr. This isn’t cruelty free is it?! I really need a hydrating primer that works. My skin is so dry no matter what I use or try, but I’ve made the choice to TRY to go cruelty free…

China had a law up for votes in 2020 to stop animal testing on makeup..let’s HOPE they stop and then all the other companies stop the nonsense.

I would rather take my chances on something having an adverse affect on me by my choice, then by a helpless voiceless animal..

I like Nars pallette blushes and MAC and many other brands that once I use up out of my huge collection I wont be replacing and it’s sad because it’s some of my favorite things.

Reply ButtonReply

Tisa Trieber

Let me know if you want any advice on cruelty free brands, as that is all I will use. After researching how they test on animals (not just rabbits but dogs and cats too) I just can’t use anything that tests even if they are cruelty free but the parent company tests.

For a primer, I switch between Milk Make’s Hydro Grip Primer and Jane Iredale’s Smooth Affair Facial Primer, and if I am having severe dry area’s I will use Milk Make Up’s Cooling Water.

Reply ButtonReply

Mesha

I sure hope not! I just got a primer last month and 3 or 4 in last year. I have more primer then 3 women can use.

Reply ButtonReply

June

I actually have never tried the Benefit primers, so I’m excited to try either one. My skin is on the dry side of the spectrum, but the info on Sephora says either formula will work for me, so bonus! It sounded on Joe’s video like we would all get one or the other….I hope that is the case.

How long does a person have to be unsubscribed to Boxy Charm to get the gift?

Reply ButtonReply

blondie1021

It says you had to be unsubscribed before February 1st

Am I the only one who has a ridiculous amount of samples sizes of Porefessional from various sub boxes and GWPs? Actually, I just have insane amounts of primers in general. I wish they’d put eye primers in the boxes once in a while instead- I don’t think I’ve ever gotten one in a subscription before.

Reply ButtonReply

amarante

I totally agree with you. I have run out of people to give primers too.

I actually purchase eye primers.

Reply ButtonReply

Drminniecooper

I never did get an eye primer in a sub box, it seems to be a unicorn, like brown mascaras.

When I had a glut of silicone based primers like smashbox and porefessional, I found that they made a great protectant layer over dry winter skin on my hands. I used regular heavy moisturizer on the rough spots and then sealed it in with the silicon primer samples. It really helped to heal a few painfully dry areas.

Monica

Yes! Where are the eye primers? I use those a heck of a lot more

Reply ButtonReply

AMANDA FOREMAN

Girls, just fyi, most face primer can be used as eye primer as well. The formulas are very similar for many brands =)

Raquel

Yes!!!
I always need to buy eye primers ,even though I pay for make up subscriptions for awhile.

Raquel N

YES!!!
I always need to buy those even though I pay for make up subscriptions!!!

Yessy

I am very excited to get benefit primer. I didn’t feel like buying this full price and I always miss the sales in Ulta or Sephora. I do hope that I receive the original than the hydration because this product is not going to help if I receive products that don’t work for me. I would swap if I get hydration than the original. If they make a choice for this, this would help a whole lot as well. We shall see. 🙂

Reply ButtonReply

Alice

Now we are talking. I am actually very interested in the hydrating primer. I know I have enough primer to prime the wall, but this is a such a new, exciting launch to me and I am so glad we are getting it.

Reply ButtonReply

Alice

Just buy what you want, what you really, really want…

Reply ButtonReply

Claudia

Keep talking.

Reply ButtonReply

Jacki

I have a ridiculous amount of primer… but I’ve never tried that hydrating one 🤦‍♀️

Reply ButtonReply

Cris

OMG I LOVE BOTH OF THESE!!!! SO EXCITED FOR THIS!!!! I am so glad to get this in the April Boxycharm box!! This is such a great spoiler! I love the way my skin looks when I use this primer! It blurs my pores and doesn’t break me out. Can’t wait!!

Reply ButtonReply

Steph H.

I actually hope I don’t receive this. I don’t use face primers as I rarely ever wear foundation. I feel like a lot of boxes get on a roll with certain products and send too many back-to-back. This will be at least the third primer Boxy has sent in the past couple of months. They should spread them out through out the year.

Reply ButtonReply

Nat

I love using this primer alone or with powder – I don’t really wear foundation either and this is a hg product for me.

Reply ButtonReply

disneyjoy1970

The Zoya palette is beautiful and the primers are wonderful. Very nice.

Did anyone else get a break out from the Tarte hydrating primer from Feb 2020 box? I’m so disappointed because I want a hydrating primer so bad but think that coconut oil is the issue. This may have been in my Premium box. Thanks C C

Reply ButtonReply

Vicky H

🙁 I haven’t tried mine yet but now I’m scared… My breakouts are mostly hormonal though so maybe it will be fine…

Reply ButtonReply

SquirrelyGirl

I didn’t have a problem with it. Unless you have a reaction to coconut or one of the other ingredients, I would think you should be fine.

Ashley C

Are you referring to the base tape from Tarte? I don’t have sensitive skin but that primer broke me out HORRIBLY! I’ve literally never had such a reaction. I’ve had really good luck with the porefessional though!

Reply ButtonReply

C C

It’s called Tarte base tape it’s their hydrating formula. I got three huge zits from it. I’ve used it three times so disappointing. I so want to be able to use and Luke the items in my sub boxes.

Alice

I haven’t tried that, but their amazonian clay powder foundation gave me an immediate rash.

Reply ButtonReply

Beccah

I break out from all of tartes products including the primer but I don’t think it’s the coconut oil. I use many other brands that have coconut oil in their products but do not have any reaction. Tarte is my least favorite beauty brand by far! My favorite primers are tatcha the silk canvas (they just released a liquid form of that primer today) and smashbox photo finish primer. They both are super hydrating.

Reply ButtonReply

Jackie

It has coconut oil (which is comedogenic) in it, so I swapped it.

Reply ButtonReply

Chelsea

Does anyone know if these primers would work well with Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation?

Reply ButtonReply

Vicky H

I used to use this with Estée Lauder double wear. I didn’t have any issues. It’s pretty gentle and lightweight primer.

Reply ButtonReply

Lena

I’ve used the non-hydrate one and it works alright. Tbh, I’ve never had a primer mess up EL double wear, it’s a really great foundation.

Reply ButtonReply

Redhed36

I’ve used both and didn’t notice any issues. And I wear the dbl wear and the camouflage ones.

Reply ButtonReply

Han

Oooo! This has always been my favorite pore filling primer! I’m stoked.

Reply ButtonReply

Stephanie

I love how they say “may include”…. yes, we know BC you will have 15 different variations. The majority of the good stuff goes to “influencers” and the random crap will go to the people who actually pay for your subscription. Great model btw

Reply ButtonReply

Alexia

I always get the good stuff! Only once have I received a product variation that I had no interest in. So surprised to read so many disappointed comments. Best subscription I’ve tried by far!

Reply ButtonReply

Sarah

They have over a million subscribers. Of course they have a ton of variations. But I get the featured products in 2/3 of my boxes each year and I’m not an influencer. Obviously, they send them out the rest of us, too.

Reply ButtonReply

Whitney Earl

So do I. What i’ve been doing lately is not looking at any variations. That way when I get my box, i’m excited instead of being angry that i didn’t get this or that. I used to look at all the variations and all the spoiler videos and was always unhappy. That all changed when I stopped looking..

Stacy

Exactly! And they are up to 40 some variations now smh It’s ridiculous

Reply ButtonReply

Marie

Actually 60 something. I got variation 62 or 68 last month. 😂
