I had just signed up again and a little disappointed February is Pai again. Pai was the December 2018 box which I had received. Pai is ok but not my favorite.

Yay! I’m excited. I know I’ll use and like everything. Looking forward to the oil cleanser. I’m using a balm now that I really like but it’s nearly out. Detox Box has been doing consistently great boxes for a long time!

This is allover a very nice set to try out this brand, I am super happy that there is a regular size cream in there as opposed to a mini thrown in with full size cleansers. Thank you for doing it right, Detox Box.

What else I would love to see is a very nourishing night cream to apply over actives. I have so many actives alone and combined in creams. It’s been surprisingly hard to find offerings of a high quality, very nourishing, non-irritating night cream to go over.

For example, the SkinCeuticals Triple Lipid Restore 2:4:2 seems to be that but at $128 a jar I keep putting off buying it. What I really ought to do is pause some subs for a month and just get it. Soon, sigh.. Lol.

That’s what I ended up doing.. I have so many products that I will never be able use them all before they expire, so I stopped buying tons of boxes a month and just get one every once and while if it’s something I really want. Otherwise, after getting many skin care products that I don’t like or won’t use, I;ve just been saving that money and buying products I know I’ll use and like. The the SkinCeuticals Triple Lipid Restore 2:4:2 cream was actually one that I did buy and I love it! I’m on my second jar.. I also love SkinMedica TNS Ceramide Treatment Cream! I’m on tube # 8 now. I love that both of these creams work great for my dry irritated skin from retinol use. I try to just use retinol and than a good cream that has active ingredients to help heal the skin while using retinol and my skin has never looked better. I found that using 100 different skin care products on my skin was making it look worse so I researched and found that it’s actually harmful to the skin to use so many different products like that.

I agree! I was pretty good last year, I canceled most of my ongoing subs after March save Ipsy and then added an annual FFF sub in Summer. But this year already there have been back to back great offerings, gahhh! lol My plan is to cut way back again in/after March and focus on getting what I need and using what I have. That’s the plan anyway.

I’m so glad to hear you like the 2:4:2. I had received a sample of it some time ago and it felt like my skin really liked it. I too have thirsty/sensitive skin made pronouncedly so by Retinol type actives, even with skipping days between my poor skin is like STOP! You make an interesting point about trying so many different products, maybe it’s too much. I’ll have to read about the TNS ceramide cream, thanks for the suggestion. 🙂

I like this box, but really only want it for the day cream. I’m overflowing on cleansers right now. Hmm.

Cool. I am signing up for another 1 month. Can’t bring myself to subscribe to 3 month because inevitably the next box would suck

Love Pai. Their cleansing cloths are the best. Even my husband loves them.
