We have a new spoiler for the February 2020 The Box By Fashionsta!

The Box By Fashionsta is a monthly beauty box brought to you by online beauty store, Fashionsta, for $24.99/month with free shipping. Each box will include 5-7 full-size makeup, skincare, and other self-care products. They seem to focus on smaller indie brands that may be new to you, so it’s a great way to discover companies that haven’t blown up in popularity yet. They also have The Box For Men ($29.99/month) as well as a mystery box that costs $40 as an add-on with a subscription or $50 as a one-time purchase.

The February box will include:

UPDATE: The Moon Slice Beauty Moonshine Super Fruit Skin Oil will no longer be included in the February box:

Hey GlamFam, the current global health problem has affected many industries including our beloved beauty and skincare realm, and slowed down the process of product delivery and transportation. We regretfully had to push the teased @moonslice Moonshine product to be featured in your next month’s box, but have replaced it with some amazing goodies for you to discover. Good news we have several marvelous varieties this month all with SIX full size items featuring products you’ve been asking for to celebrate the month of LOVE. We will start shipping at the end of this week, which as a result some boxes may perhaps arrive in the first week of March. As promised we’re working diligently to speed up our fulfillment timing, and we truly and sincerely thank you for your patience and understanding.

  1. Got my February Box today. Yes, they are running late. I don’t want to give away any spoilers. But the palette in person looks so much better than the picture! And the other items look really interesting and useful. I’m grandfathered in at the $19.99 rate. This box is so worth it for me. If you can’t handle that they run a little late then this box isn’t for you. However the three boxes that I have received so far have been nice, wonderful surprises! Looking forward to the MSA review!

  2. Sounds like they’re going to start doing variations… Not sure how I feel about that. I kind of liked that everyone got the same thing, even if it might be a different scent or flavor of the same product. That way there isn’t variation envy…

  3. well, lets put it this way I subscribed at the end of January….no box in February..these people are hard to reach…I still no nothing..maybe something will come in march…I also unjoined this month because of this problem..

    • Go to the facebook page (or other social media) and pm them, or just post. I got a response quickly that way. In general, Social Media teams to be the fastest responders.

      • thanks bonnie…however i’m not on any social media…I guess that’s why?

        • Yes, probably. They are VERY social media based.

  4. I like the design of the BeBella pallet. It is pleasing to look at 😊

  5. It’s now going to be the lip scrub instead of the balm. Still sounds good!

    • I am bummed about this. I much prefer chemical lip exfoliators over scrubs.

      • I’ve never heard of a chemical lip exfoliator. Would you mind sharing which ones you’ve tried and liked? 🙂 While I’ll use all of the physical lip scrubs I’ve received in boxes, I’m not really a fan of them. Sometimes they can be too messy or just plain harsh on my lips, so I’d love to try another alternative. 🙂

        • I would be happy to Luna! You are always so generous with your information. One is a lip mask called the Perfect Pout Lip Mask by Kaplan MD. The other is a leave on liquid by Stacked Skincare (I am sorry I don’t have the exact name as I am traveling. ) I believe they both work via AHA and other gentle acids. I like them both a lot. I use the Kaplan product more at home (a thin layer can also be used overnight) and the Stacked product more on the go since you just roll it on and let it dry. After it dries I follow it up with a balm or lip color. The only potential negative is I think I remember you saying you don’t like roller ball applicators. I think this one works pretty well, but you still may prefer the Kaplan product for that reason.
Hope that helps! Since I discovered chemical lip exfoliation I haven’t looked back! I don’t miss the mess or anything else about the process.
Are you sorry you asked now that I wrote a book? 🙂

          • One last thing if you get the Stacked Hydrating Lip Peel, only put on a layer or two. Otherwise your lips will REALLY peel. I found that out the hard way. 🙂

        • Luna, I responded to your question but all my posts go to moderation for some reason even though I have always been polite, never used profanity, etc. I wish I knew why. Maybe this one will go through first.

        • Luna, I wrote a long response which hasn’t shown up. (I am not happy about it.) Maybe it still will, but if it doesn’t, the two products I use and like are:
The Perfect Pout Lip Mask by Kaplan MD
Hydrating Lip Peel by Stacked Skincare
          Hope that helps!

      • I have never heard of those, they sound interesting! I will look them up. I wish it was the balm instead, I just got a new scrub as many others here did from the Target box that will last me a while since I don’t really use them.

  6. If I subscribed today would I still get the February box, or would I be on the list for March?

    • I’d reach out on IG via private message to confirm [always the faster way to get a response from them] but I would assume February. They dont start shipping until at least the 3rd week of the month, which is something to be aware about with this sub. It’s in their faq’s, but every month I see people who are unhappy with this way of doing it. Just an FYI. I personally dont mind because then I’m getting a box during the lull in box deliveries: )

  7. I received the Balm Babe in Pumpkin in a Kinder box. It’s very nice.

    • oh man, you got yr box!!??
