NSFW Savage X Fenty Xtra VIP Membership Review + Coupon – February 2020

Savage X Fenty Review - February 2020

Rihanna’s Savage X Fenty lingerie line offers an Xtra VIP membership (that works a lot like Fabletics and ShoeDazzle) which gives you access to exclusive limited-edition sets as well as big discounts and first dibs on everything for $49.95/month. New pieces are added to their size-and-skin-tone-inclusive catalog monthly, which features a wide gamut from comfy everyday items to super sexy specialty lingerie. You have the choice to shop for something new, skip the month to avoid a charge, or have the $49.95 membership fee saved to your account to use in the future.

Savage X Fenty Xtra VIP Membership Review – February 2020

The Xtra VIP Box this month celebrates Rihanna’s birthday (February 20th) with a pretty pale purple lace set: a bralette, wine glasses, and a whip. Unfortunately for me, when I logged in on February 2nd to order it, it would not go through. While it didn’t say it was sold out on the product page, I couldn’t complete my order because it was saying what I wanted was sold out. It later looked like the extra bralette in size large was the problem, but it was already too late for me. Oh well! Ya win some, ya lose some!

I decided to instead pick the Lacy, Not Racy VIP Xclusive Set (in black, of course.) for the special VIP price of $49.95. Let me give you the tour…

Lacy, Not Racy Unlined Bra in Black Caviar, size 36C

This lace bra is the first one I’ve gotten from Savage X Fenty with a cup size, so it was time for the true fit test. I normally wear bralettes and go for a solid large in those, but this one I ordered in my usual 36C and hoped for the best. To my delight, it fits perfectly! I don’t find underwires to be very comfortable, but the ones here give my girls a little more support which makes everything look a lot more full and sexy. The lace this bra is made of is nice and soft and didn’t feel itchy or pokey at all. The double clasp at the back is really sturdy and overall, the construction of this piece is great. I’m really happy with this one and can’t wait to give it some more mileage on special nights! 😉

Lacy, Not Racy Brazillian, size large

I just love all the lace details on these black undies that match the bra perfectly. There are several different panels and patterns going on that are topped off with a little black bow at the front of the waist. The back is quite see-through which is sort of *cheeky* and cute, in my opinion. These fit slightly tight which once again makes me think I should size up to an XL in Savage X Fenty but I’m afraid those might be a little loose. My only other wish is that these were high waisted, but I guess I just wasn’t paying close enough attention and had in my head that they would be. I just think they’d be cuter that way.

I want to take this opportunity to mention a detail about Savage X Fenty that I really appreciate. The tag that has the brand name, plus the longer one with all the product info are both sewn in such a way that they are meant to be removed. Such a simple gesture that is so important to me since a huge tag that you can see through some sexy lace can be a bit of a buzzkill. It’s also downright uncomfortable. You’ll need an Exacto knife or another sharp tool and a bit of patience to remove it properly, but it’s worth it. Just be careful to not accidentally cut the garment!

The Verdict: Even though I was sorry to miss the VIP Box this month, Savage X Fenty pulled through with a VIP Xclusive set that was sexy and comfy at the same time. This subscription is helping me build a nice arsenal of casual, pretty, and super sexy pieces of lingerie, all well made and with a nice fit. Even if you don’t want to drop $50 every month, it’s worth subscribing just to make a cute small purchase for yourself each month at discounted VIP prices.

To Wrap Up:

Can I get these pieces if I sign up today? Yes, this set is still available in black, as well as two other colors in most sizes.

COUPON: 2 for $29 bras and bralettes, plus get 50% off sitewide when you sign up for an Xtra VIP membership! No coupon needed - just use this link.

Value Breakdown: My latest Savage X Fenty set has a retail price of $81.00 but the VIP pricing made it available to me for $49.95, including free shipping and exchanges which is almost a 40% discount.

  1. Your review would have been more helpful if it had contained what the content of the fabric on these are. I can see from the tag on the undies 70% poly, but the rest? Is there a lining on the crotch and what is it made of? Important details that can make a difference in feel and value.

    • You can literally go on SavagexFenty site and see the fabric content for any piece you’re interested in.

    • Hi Deanna- Sorry about that! I normally do try to post the fabric content and must’ve spaced this time. Here are the deets:
Bra- Body: 70% Polyamide, 30% Elastane. Contrast: 89% Polyamide, 11% Elastane. Cup lining: 100% Polyamide. Wing lining: 87% Polyamide, 13% Elastane
Undies- Body: 70% Polyamide, 30% Elastane. Contrast: 89% Polyamide, 11% Elastane. Gusset lining: 100% Cotton Gusset

  2. This stuff looks so high quality and pretty. Also functional. Time to sub!
