Gentleman's Box February 2020 “Irish Boss" Review

We also received an issue of the Gentleman's Post which is basically a booklet that describes the theme for the month and highlights the items included in our box. This month's box is in honor of their favorite Irish Boss, Cillian Murphy.

Gentleman's Collective Tie - Listed Value $35.00
This tie is a really nice one. The pattern and colors give it a great textured look making it a unique, but also classic tie. It still also reads like a neutral tie so it will be easy to pair with any shirt!

Gentlemen of the North Socks - Listed Value $12.00
These socks are a nice blue-gray color with navy dots. My husband really likes the design of these and found them to be comfortable. It's always nice when they send an item from GOTN because they are a company who gives back. Currently, a portion of the proceeds is going towards helping send underprivileged youth to basketball camp!

Lord of the Ties Pocket Square - Listed Value $20.00
This pocket square is nice looking and pairs well with the tie we received. The tiny print of the pattern makes this another item that will be easy to pair with multiple colors for different looks. It is a nice shiny square made from 100% cotton.

Lord of Ties Lapel Flower - Listed Value $15.00
This lapel pin is very pretty and somehow feels very fitting for our Irish inspiration. The gray is very neutral and I could see this looking very snazzy on the lapel of my husband's navy suit for a special occasion.

Windsor Tie Co. Tie Clip - Listed Value $15.00
The last item in the box was this tie clip which looks like a really thick paper clip. I thought it was a bit gaudy at first, but I think it looks much better on the tie since it changes the scale a bit.
This is kind of a fun idea for a tie clip, a little bit of whimsy that won't stand out too much. My husband thought it was pretty cool!
Verdict: This month's Gentleman’s Box was pretty classy! My husband enjoyed the mix of navy and gray and while he may not get too much use out of the pocket square or tie clip, he liked the design of both of them. He really loved the tie and socks and likes the unique whimsy of the tie clip. Overall this was a great box with a listed value of $97.00. Not bad for a $29 box with free shipping!
