Allure October 2019 beauty subscription box review

We have the first spoiler for the April 2020 Allure Beauty Box!

If you aren't familiar with Allure Beauty Box, it is a $15-a-month beauty subscription that was named one of the Best Women's Subscription Boxes and one of the Best Beauty Subscription Boxes by MSA readers in the 2019 Subscription Box Awards. Sample sizes are usually good (typically at least one or two full-size items per box), and Allure does a great job of including new brands + products.

I’ve already tried the Mamonde oil to foam cleanser and the toner. I loved both. I would be thrilled with the serum. I’m still using the Floss clear gloss. I hope I don’t get another one. It’s okay but not my favorite. April’s box looks good to me. Allure is a great value and I like the curations. I never skip a month!

Glad I cancelled for now. A lot of products that I have no use for. Wrong lipstick colors, Ciate high lighter was awful.

For me, it’s the variations that present a problem. I only want the red Mamonde, the lemon superfood, and the Rituals. So…I’m going to hope the Amazon version is a good one!

I did not like the akar lip balm at all. I will have to really look at the ingredients in this and wait for more spoilers. I’m definitely skipping March.

Would love that eye pencil (NOT liquid – woo hoo) even if it is black. Would love it more if it was a color like navy or purple, but am not pushing that. Overall, though, even with the variations, this box looks great. Thank you Allure!

I’d rather get the body wash.

Oh? That’s not cool, Zero was in Allure not 6-8 months ago. They could have at least went with a different shade of black, like Perversion.

That is the one thing that drives me nuts about some of these boxes. A lot of them don’t list product sizes.

Neroli oil has always been my very favorite essential oil. I’m using a toner from fig and yarrow with neroli right now and it’s so divine. Might have to get this box..

I love fig and yarrow, I just discovered them and the toner I am using is divine! Have you used any of their other products? I have recently seen alot of things with Neroli in it, do you know what it is good for?

I have a couple of other Fig and Yarrow items somewhere in my stash, but haven’t used them yet and I can’t even remember which products they are LOL. Sorry, that is literally no help at all.

I mainly use it for it’s mood boosting properties. It’s calming and uplifting at the same time. Makes me way less anxious. I carry a roller ball of it with me at all times. When I start having panic attacks, it can help lessen them for me.

As far as skin benefits, it is said to “help improve skin health by regenerating and keeping your skin elastic, preventing the appearance of stretch marks, banishing acne, reducing the appearance of scars and helping heal broken capillaries.”
