GLAMLITE Miracle Palette - Retail Value $28.00 (currently on sale for $18.00)
Our first item is a palette inspired by breast cancer survivors, which explains all that pink! Pigment here is great on most and I was surprised that the mattes in this collection are much bolder than the shimmers, which seems opposite of what I usually find in most palettes. 'Fearless' especially is insanely pigmented and gorgeous! I wish I had a watercolor paint that was this shade. Everything applies well with a brush and fingertip. This is a really solid palette and the shades are gorgeous, especially if you love pinks!

Makeup Geek Highlighter in 'Ablaze', 7 g - Retail Value $14.99 (currently sold out)

This shade of highlighter is too warm for me to use in that sort of way, but I absolutely love this shade. It looks amazing on my eyelids as a minimal shadow. I also think this might be something I could loosely dust all over in the summer when my skin has a little more warmth. The formula is super smooth and very shimmery! It applies like a dream with a big fluffy brush and the whole effect left my skin looking like it was lit with candlelight.
A little warmer than I prefer, but still totally gorgeous!

Gerard Cosmetics Liquid Lip in 'Mudslide', 2.5 ml - Retail Value $20.00

Liquid matte lips are a hard sell for me because I am a satin finish kind of gal. But I know for longevity, matte is the way to go! This shade is called 'Mudslide' which is a great name for this dreamy brown. It applies beautifully and looks much more pinkish until it dries, when it morphs into a true rich brown. Some of that pink still hides somewhere inside though! Browns can be hard for me but this one did look really edgy and nice on my face, I just had to make sure I had enough makeup on the rest of my skin to balance out how bold my lips looked.
If chocolate + brick + rose had a baby? I want to repeat that this does dry into more of a true brown!

Clionadh Cosmetics 5 pc Stained Glass Brush Set - Listed Value $24.50 (Buy individual brushes here)
I feel like I received a similar brush set a few months back in Ipsy Glam Bag Plus though they had slightly different brush heads and a retail price that was double! These are honestly just as nice, especially if you love the glass effect on these handles. They are all synthetic bristles, fluffy, dense, and wonderful for powder formulas. This set includes a bronzing brush (which works awesome with the Makeup Geek Highlighter!), blending brush, smudging brush, packing brush, and a mini angled brush.

Venusgale Cosmetics Vixen Potion Chrome Pigment - Retail Value $17.00 (currently sold out)
I don't know what to make of these little electric flakes! They have so much shine it is insane. They are also difficult to work with, but if you are more advanced with products like this you might have had a better time. I can't recommend primer enough for these flakes. Without it, it just looks like you just have giant metallic dirt on your lids. The primer causes them to stick to your skin where you can pack them on or gently smear them for a chrome effect. I found them incredibly unpredictable, though gorgeous. I also feel like these can be used on nails for some reason? Am I making that up?
Here I used a primer and then pat applied. I also experimented with gently smearing the flakes for a solid chrome effect.

Sistine Herbal Collagen x Retinol Cherub Eye Mask, set of 2 pairs - Listed Value $15.50
Finally, our last item is a pair of gel eye masks. These are really cute inside, made of pink gel and shaped like cherubs flying from under your eyes. I found them very calming and relaxing to the delicate skin under my eyes. I recommend popping them in the fridge for 30 minutes before application!
Verdict: My December Tribe Beauty box has an estimated value of around $119.99 (I had to rely on some listed values!) which is pretty awesome for a $35 box. This was a really fun box full of brands I had never tried, which is always exciting! The products chosen were also a mix of familiar and new. I thought the quality was great and I really loved the palette, highlighter, and lipstick. The chrome flakes certainly have a learning curve, but new little treasures like this are so much fun to experiment with. The brushes were beautiful and I am always happy to add to my hoard. All in all, this was a super fun box and I can't wait until the next one.
