PinkSeoul Plus Box November/December 2019 Review

Prior to purchasing a subscription, PinkSeoul will ask you several customization questions. Some products are more appropriate/recommended for a particular skin type, so be sure to figure out your skin type.

Here is the info sheet detailing the products included in this box.

9 Wishes Intense Hydrating Gold Foil Patch & Mask – Retail Value $5.50

This was a really fun mask! It has two gold foil patches in the shape of hearts, and then you layer a sheet mask on top. I found this nourishing and hydrating to my skin, and it just all around brought me joy.

Some By Mi Bubble Pouch – Retail Value $2

I had no idea what this was at first- it’s a pouch you stick your bar of soap in to create an extra lather. I find it a bit unnecessary, but this may be something that is more exciting to others.

I’m Sorry For My Skin Daily Calming Sun Cream, 40 ml – Retail Value $25

I really don’t love the name of this brand, but this sunscreen wasn’t bad. It has a noticeable lavender scent which I didn’t mind, but I do think it is a bit unnecessary. This was a hydrating sunscreen that rubbed in with no white cast, and I also had no issues with layering it under makeup.

Keep Cool & Soothe Cleansing Water, 100 ml – Retail Value $8

Keep Cool is a brand I really like, and I am always excited when it pops up in a subscription box. This cleansing water was true to its name by being gentle on my skin, and it did a nice job of removing any traces of makeup after I had washed my face. This would also work well in the mornings as an only cleanse when my face isn’t dirty but I want to make sure it’s prepped for a full routine.

Ample:N Hyaluron Shot Ampoule, 1 oz – Retail Value $29

This is a hydrating ampoule made with seven types of hyaluronic acid as well as niacinamide, adenosine, and trehalose. If you’re not familiar with ampoules, think of it like a very thin serum you use after your toner and essence. This layered well in my multi-step routine, and it did add a boost of moisture to my skin without being too heavy.

The Face Shop Herb Day 365 Mung Bean and Mugwort Foaming Cleanser, 170 ml – Retail Value $9

This is a foaming cleanser that wasn’t too harsh on my skin, and both mung bean and mugwort are ingredients that are great at soothing the skin. This didn’t dry my skin out, either.

Borntree Natto Gum Mask – Retail Value $5

Natto is Japanese fermented soybeans, and it the food form it has a strong smell not loved by everyone. In sheet mask form, this is scent-free and did a good job of adding moisture to my tired skin after a long day. This mask was packed with serum without dripping down my neck, and I like that the sheet mask fabric had a bit of stretch to it.

JMsolution Derma Care Capsule Mask – Retail Value $4

I am a fan of JM Solution, and this mask is the perfect example of why. It’s packed with moisture-barrier loving ingredients like Centella, madecassoside, and ceramides, and my skin was nourished and happy when I took this mask off.

The Verdict: I really enjoyed this Plus box from PinkSeoul. I am always happy to add a new K-beauty sunscreen to my arsenal, and I really liked the ampoule and the sheet masks included as well. Value-wise, this has a total value of $87.50, which is well over the cost of the box.

  1. I like pinkseoul. In my opinion it’s not a very exciting box but it seems pretty reliable and a solid box to me
