Marne’s Favorite:

The Item: Odacité Ca R Vital Glow Wild Carrot Serum Concentrate

The Cost: $58.00

From: The Detox Box

Why I love it: I’ve never used a pure wild carrot concentrate before and was surprised by how much I love it! My skin drank this up and it made my face look bright and glowy!

Megan’s Favorite:

white box with watermelon design next to glass bottle with pink inside

The Item: Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Pink Juice Moisturizer

The Cost: $39.00

From: BoxyCharm Premium

Why I love it: I already bought myself some of this and loved it, right before this bottle from BoxyCharm arrived! Well, my bad timing is my mom’s gain, because I passed this stuff onto her and she is obsessed. It has a light watermelon scent that makes me crave summer, and just enough moisture to get me through the day with glowing skin.

Jessica’s Favorite:

The Item: Glow Recipe Blueberry Bounce Cleanser

The Cost: $34

From: Glow Recipe Black Friday Mystery Box

Why I love it: I have had samples of this cleanser before, and I am so stoked to finally have the full-size that I can call my very own. Even though it is a gel cleanser it doesn’t dry out my skin, and it leaves my face feeling clean but not stripped. This checks all of the boxes for me, plus I love the purple packaging.

Brandi’s Favorite:

The Item: Cinnamon Cocoa Perfume Oil Roller, 10 ml

The Cost: $18.00

From: Wicked Good Perfume

Why I love it: This Cinnamon Cocoa scent is so unique and yummy! While I don’t pick up much of the Ceylon cinnamon, I’m sure it’s there blending beautifully with the scents of chipotle, Bali Blue Moon coffee beans, nutmeg, cocoa, and vanilla sugar. I first smell the coffee and warm vanilla sugar with the faintest hint of cocoa and chipotle which is so cozy and pleasant! It does fade to more of a simple vanilla sugar scent that is very subtle and easy to wear, but I actually wish the scent was a bit stronger and lasted longer because it is so good!

Ragan’s Favorite:

The Item: Suki Exfoliate Foaming Cleanser

The Cost: $11.95

From: Vegancuts Beauty

Why I love it: I like a good exfoliator. This one’s not too harsh since it’s sugar-based, and since it’s also a cleanser, it can do double-duty on days when I’m in a hurry.

What do you think of our beauty favorites for December? What other favorite discoveries would you like us to round up each month?

  1. My favorite December products were the two Complex Culture brushes I got in my Ipsys. So pretty and so luxe. My bags weren’t great in December but my January ones were pretty good.

    • Sometimes I swear boxes save up the good stuff for the new year. Just a theory. I know Megan was all about those brushes, too!

  2. I love the G.R. watermelon sleeping mask, but not the pink juice. It made my face so sticky! Am I the only one who had that problem?

That perfume oil sounds really decadent!

    • I don’t like it either. It isn’t sticky for me exactly but just feels like it never fully absorbs. Kinda dirty feeling.

    • You would LOVE that perfume oil! Such unique scents.

  3. I love glow recipe, but I’m a little torn on the cleanser. I think it smells like bubble bath and if I forget to immediately follow up with a serum and moisturizer my skin feels dry and tight. It is good as long as I do my whole routine just not in love like I thought I would be.

    • That’s too bad, Lauren…do you think it could have something to do with the dry winter air (assuming you live somewhere cold)? If I were you I’d tuck it away and try it again come spring!

      • I live in Phoenix, so yes, dry, but not cold 🙂 I’m willing to keep experimenting, though, because like I said, I do love the brand!

  4. I’ve loved the suki for years, is smells beyond yummy!

    • You know what’s up!

  5. I love the blueberry cleanser! I got a tiny size through Ipsy but the point is to try it to see if i like it. Glad I do!

    • Nice! Think you’ll buy a full-size or wait and see if it arrives in a future sub?

  6. So many of these were my favorites, too! My favorite new box is the Wicked Good Perfume. Amazing. Just received my January box and it’s even better than December! Magnolia in roller ball!

    • Magnolia yesssss! That sounds amazing.
