A big ‘buyer beware’ with this one. I subbed for a while, and liked their jewelry. I haven’t had any issues with the jewelry quality; I don’t wear it all the time, but it has held up fine. However, they have HUGE customer service problems. (Please check past postings for other peoples’ experiences, as well.) A while ago I cancelled my sub and decided to just purchase the individual items I wanted when they went on sale. I have had a problem with EVERY SINGLE order I placed with them. Items not arriving. Being double charged. Being sent someone else’s order (someone else’s name, my address, someone else’s items.) I was able to get things resolved eventually, but it’s hard to get a response.

Today I received the package that I ordered on December 2. It allegedly shipped on 12/13; when I click the tracking the USPS part says pre-shipment, but further following the tracking oddly says it was scanned in somewhere in France, so I have no idea where it came from. Today I received a paper mailing envelope with a handwritten label taped on with masking tape, no return address, and NO POSTAGE on it. Inside, wrapped in a wadded up piece of brown paper towel, was three canvas jewelry bags that were literally COVERED WITH MOLD. The company packing slip inside wasn’t moldy, and the outside of the package was not wet or moldy, so I can only assume that somehow the items inside were shipped this way. Seriously? I would think this was an isolated event, however, one of my prior packages from them I received in a similar type of envelope with handwritten label and no return address; thankfully at least that one wasn’t moldy.

I’ve contacted them, but I’m not really expecting to hear back. I’m officially done with this company. Their stuff is fine but it’s just not worth the hassle of having to deal with a problem every time. And now I have to pay the post office additional money since they didn’t put any postage on. 🙁

Just as a follow up to this…to my surprise, I did hear back from Emma & Chloe promptly, and after asking me to send pictures, have said they will replace the damaged items. They say they didn’t send them out that way, that it must have happened in transit–and that the envelope it arrived in that I sent them a picture of, was not what they mailed it in. It’s very odd that at some point along the way it got repackaged and sent with no postage, but who knows with the various postal systems these days. Anyways, it sounds like they’re going to take care of it so I figured I should follow up. That being said, I’ve still had too many issues (and read of too many other issues others have had) to feel comfortable with the company so won’t be ordering from them again.

Hope they follow through for you. When I did not receive an order they claimed they were resending another that day. Never actually did. When I followed up again they told me to make a claim with the post office on my original order. Unfortunately the tracking number they gave me was not accepted by the post office. I could not make a claim. I then demanded a refund. They said they would. Weeks later they still hadn’t so I had to reach out again. TERRIBLE company. Buyer beware!

I disagree with most of the comments below. I have been wearing a bracelet from them constantly for about 8 months and it shows very little wear. I am happy with their quality. So much better than what I got from my biquox box. That stuff was cheaply made and either broke or turned after just a few wears.

The one piece I got from them (a ring) degraded in a couple weeks, so, ya know. Not getting any more. Shame because the designs are lovely and I absolutely adored the ring I got.

As more people aren’t complaining about the coating on their pieces completely coming off very quickly, my case might have been a one-off thing, but dang.

The same thing happened with one (set) of the rings I got, except it lasted a few months. It was the set of snakes, in silver. I loved the rings! I did wear them regularly but not enough for them to tarnish like they did. I switched to only gold pieces after that and haven’t had any problems since. Maybe it was just that set, or the silver…I’m just glad it hasn’t happened since.

The ring I was referring to was the One Stone ring from August 2017, in silver. So maybe it is a silver thing? I’m glad to hear you haven’t had problems with gold. I like both, so that gives me some hope. If I absolutely must have an Emma & Chloe piece in the future, I’ll try it in gold.

I was thinking about choosing those rings as one of my freebies! Did anyone else get the silver ones & have the same issue? Or did anyone have good luck with the set, ie no tarnish?

They seem to have been way overstocked with inventory. I wonder if they’re having trouble with cash flow.

Maybe the excess inventory is because they have terrible customer service and can’t retain customers. I will never buy anything from them ever again. Neither will any of my friends.

Exactly!

I had a similar thought. I’d be concerned in signing up for a long term sub with them.
