I am on the fence about this brush. I can see it being great for acne prone skin but what does it do for mature skin? I may actually cancel to be honest…not excited about the palette colors, can’t use a curling iron, and every box has eye cream lately so I’m good.

The website states that it pulses at 7,000 vibrations per minute and it “provides a way to lift, firm, and tone problem areas for a more youthful appearance.” So, I guess that covers mature skin.

That sounds rather vague. I would like to see some reviews to that effect but they all appear to be about oily skin.

Alexis

click on the item link it literally explains it all, and yes it’s for mature skin.

I did look at the product link. Between the video and reviews I didn’t see one thing mentioned about fine lines and wrinkles, just customers with oily skin.

I am so frustrated with Boxycharm right now! I signed up for the very first time in December. I used the Jollycharm code to get the free Too Faced palette. My Dec box came, no free gift. Jan came, no gift. I emailed them and they responded with how sorry they are and this isn’t the impression they want to give new customers and they assure me that it’s still on the way. Then last week I finally hear from them to let me know I will not be getting a free gift after all but they want to make it right by adding a $6 credit to my account (which still hasn’t happened.) I emailed them back, heartbroken, because I have had the worst luck with sub boxes!! I told them I didn’t think it was fair because even if that palette was in the add on shop it would cost at least $12 and asked for another free gift with sign up because those are normally nice, eye-catching gifts and worth way more than $6. They still haven’t responded. I am so disappointed and wondering if this has happened to anyone else or is my luck really that bad? I’m on the waitlist for March boxyluxe but after that I will most likely cancel and stick to Ipsy because they at least try harder to make things right after a screw up. Anyways, thanks for hearing my frustrations…

Michelle, don’t give up! Pester them until they send your promised gift! They did this to me. I hammered them with emails and, what I believe was the true ticket to getting my product: I made multiple comments/posts on the Boxycharm Facebook page stating exactly what had happened. It wasn’t too long after I bombarded their FB page with negativity that they reacted and sent my product. They HATE negative comments on their social media. You should get action if you do. Don’t hold back. You owe them no niceties. Be firm and relentless. Get what they OWE YOU. They have done this to many, many subscribers. As an aside, and perhaps, some unsolicited advice: I wouldn’t give them an extra cent of my money toward Luxe if they haven’t given you what they promised for your regular box. Just my two cents… Good luck on this. Let us know what happens.

As far as the three options, I hope we can choose. My hair is course and thick so the curling iron is out, I don’t care for the palette at all. I would like the Murad cream. Stoked about the cleansing brush!! I hope we get color variations.

Some of us got the option of a ceramic Sutra flat iron instead of curling wand.. I’m hella pumped!! IPSY has been going downhill lately, while BoxyCharm seems to be getting better every month.. Granted, I’ve only been subbed since Nov 2019, but hey I have no complaints so far! I’ve been with IPSY for a few years now.. My first sub box ever, I subbed Oct 2017 to regular Glam bag and then Plus in June 2018. Plus was amazing for the first several months, but the company is clearly struggling to bounce back from the “Ultimate” fiasco..

I’d rather keep base box and premium , then get boxyluxe just my opinion , none of thee choices wow me

I m so excited about the facial brush!!! Ive been wanting one so bad but there so expensive. So yes cant wait to get it in march. I very glad i switch from Ipsy to boxycharm thank you boxycharm

This has always confused me. If I want the PMD cleaning tool I need to pay $50. Will I be wait listed for boxycharm to get to the lux? Would I get one of the three spoilers above or different spoilers? Kind of tempted with one item being twice the cost of the box and looks fun to try .

LeslieP

The waitlist is unpredictable. I signed up for the last time the second/third week of December and then out of nowhere on 12/31 I was taken off the list and charged. You may want to jump on the list now if you want to join in March.

Jean

I’ve signed up for Luxe twice (dropped back to base box and then went back to Luxe at a later time) and I’ve never NOT gotten off the waitlist. I don’t know if you have to sign up in February and get the February box or if you can wait until March and just get Luxe as your first Boxy. If you want to customize I think you’ll likely have to sign up in February.

Thanks!

Melissa

I am really excited. I have wanted a PMD cleansing device. It is $99! I verified the price. Yippie! Boxyluxe is the best

Reply ButtonReply

Lauren

I’ll just buy the brush from a buy/sell group on Facebook. There will be so many that the price will probably drop below $20 after a few weeks, and then I don’t need to have more palettes I’ll never open.

Reply ButtonReply

Melissa

I was trying to buy one and I couldn’t find it discounted. Share your link. Otherwise I’m really excited.

Reply ButtonReply

Jennifer

I always look AFTER the box is received by everyone because that’s when you can find things like this super cheap on Mercari or eBay. I got the last cleansing device for $15 off Mercari😊 I hope that helps

Rachel

How likely would it be for me to get the brush and not be waitlisted forever if I subbed to this? I’d love that brush but I don’t need a lot of other stuff if there’s no chance I would be able to get it.

Reply ButtonReply

Salena

Very Likely. Everytime I resub the month of the boxyluxe, I get it that month. If it’s really good, I end up getting 2 boxes when subbing that month. So if you sub soon, you’ll be on the “waitlist” until they charge you. You can always cancel in March if you’re not off the waitlist so it won’t hurt. I’m pretty sure you’ll get it though. I’ve cancel constantly and resub when I see all the spoilers if I like them.

I’m excited about the cleaning brush! I do hope though that the three items will be choice items. I want the eyeshadow palette and don’t care much for the other two items. I also hope we know BEFORE Ulta 21 days of beauty in case it’s on sale again.

Yessy

I really want the curling iron.

Reply ButtonReply

Lily

We don’t get to choose one of the three big ticket items shown? I have very thick waist length hair so a mini curling iron would take me about 3 hours to use..
I can’t use most eye creams due to allergies…

I’d pick the Tarte just because the other two are out. Is there a way to request an item out of mostly necessity over the other 2 choices?

Thanks for any advice. 😉

Reply ButtonReply

Stacy

Lily most likely those 3 will be the choice items, so we’ll probably be able to pick one of the 3. Just pay attention late January/early February for when Boxyluxe choice dates are on Boxy social media. The aren’t sending emails out anymore so you have to look for the date so you don’t miss it.

Reply ButtonReply

Synthia

Hi! At first I heard it was a choice between the three. Now I’m wondering if it’s still true. If it’s not a choice item, normally you can’t request what you want. But what you could do is an exchange with someone that got what you wanted for the one you received. Hope that helps.

Love my FOREO fofo, so I’m excited about the pmd! I think I’ll choose the Murad eye cream with the palette as a close second

Reply ButtonReply

Dcae

Super excited for the PMD brush!!! It’s like a giant Foreo (which I LOVE) so I cannot wait to try the PMD version!!

Reply ButtonReply

Corinne

OMG! I have been wanting the PMD cleansing device! So excited!

Nicole

“you can rest assure all variations will be equally amazing”

And…the lie detector test determined that was a lie!😉

shakingmyhead

Hilariously true!

Judy

If I upgrade to boxyluxe do i still get everything that would normally come in the basic box including my choice item or does everything change? in other words, is boxyluxe additional items or is it completely different items?

Reply ButtonReply

Anna

Boxyluxe has different items than in the base box but in the past there would be one l-2-3 products in the base box and the rest different but so far what iv seen for the month of march theres kniw same items but theyve not gave out any spoilers for the base box yet so that may be why lol. Anyhow, now the premium box has totally different items than the regular box! Hope this helps!

Stacy

Nicole unfortunately that’s so true and I always get the crappy version ugh

Kate

I have already brought 2 of these brushes and its awesome. I love that their are no brushes to replace.

Mika

I’m excited to receive if I get off the waitlist. Probably regift it though since I have a clarisonic that I haven’t used for months.

Reply ButtonReply

Jessica Steadman

Please regift to me lol I signed up just for the brush and im too late it’s going to give me the may box 😭😭

Jennie

You’re most welcome, Liz! When I saw his post, I put myself back on the waitlist. This and the Murad are enough for me to make the box worth it. Everything else will be icing on the cake.

Reply ButtonReply

Carey

I’m pretty impressed ! That is saying alot too! lol I actually want all THREE of the choices for the first option… I usually am well that’s cool and chose my item but this time I will have to really think about my choice. I’m hitting the big FIVE O next week so anything eye or skincare I’m 100% in for BUT I totally adore the palette and it has been in my cart for awhile now BUT BUT I need a curling iron as I currently have none.

Will there be addons for this box too like there just was for the regular and premium?

Anyone know? I’ve never really paid attention even though I’ve gotten the luxe since the first box as like I said above, I’m not usually wanting ALL the options. 🙂

I believe there are add-ons every month except once a quarter when the pop-up sales occur
