PinkSeoul Mask Sensitive Skincare Review

Prior to purchasing a subscription, PinkSeoul will ask you several customization questions. Some products are more appropriate/recommended for a particular skin type so be sure to figure out what your skin type is.

Eyenlip Multi Care Cream and Toner in AHA/BHA – Retail Value $20

This is a hydrating toner that is designed to do a little more than your basic toner, and the AHA/BHAs exfoliate your skin. I feel like the Cica or Peptide toner would have been a better fit for my sensitive skin, as I try to limit my chemical exfoliants in order to keep my easily-angered skin happy

Mediheal N.M.F. Midnight Capping Pack – Retail Value $3

Mediheal is one of the most well-received sheet mask brands in Korea (based on the research and what I have seen, at least), and this is the first time I have seen their sleeping mask. I appreciate the change from a standard sheet mask and thought this was lightweight. It reminds me of the Laneige Water Sleeping Mask, so for me, I used it as a finishing layer after all of my other hydrating lotions and potions.

A’Pieu Cicative Zinc Sheet Mask – Retail Value $2

A’Pieu is one of my favorite K-Beauty brands, and I think their sheet masks are some of the best out there in terms of performance and cost. This mask was thin and fit my face well, and since it was very saturated with essence I was able to wear it for a long time (my favorite way to do it). One thing to note is that this is at least the second time I have recieved this, but I think it is actually the third.

Keep Cool and Soothe Mask - Estimated Value $5 (based on similar product found here)

I have tried the Keep Cool and Soothe line before, so I already know I am a fan of this mask. It's juicy and provides a strong burst of moisture to my skin, and the soothing ingredients are perfect for my sensitive skin.

seaNtree Essence Mask in Ice Fresh - Retail Value $2

seaNtree Multi Vita Mask - Retail Value $3

Maybe it's just me, but I feel like the design on these masks are strongly reminiscent of the packaging of Mediheal masks. Though both masks have different ingredients, they both fit my face well and left my face feeling hydrated. My favorite was the Ice Fresh, which was very cooling to my skin, but the fruit acids in the Vita mask did leave my face a touch brighter.

JM Solution Centella Repair Capsule Mask - Retail Value $4

JM Solution Ceramide Aqua Capsule Mask - Retail Value $4

I am a fan of JM Solution masks, and both of these were winners. They were both pretty saturated in serum, which I didn't mind since they are packed with moisture-barrier loving ingredients like centella, madecassoside, and ceramides. All sheet masks work with facial rollers, but these ones were especially perfect for a nice jade rolling session.

Illiyoon Camellia Oil Intensive Moisture Mask - Retail Value $3

Illiyoon Lotus Moisture Mask - Retail Value $3

Both of these masks focus on hydrating, which is a-okay in my book. While one has camellia oil and one has lotus extract, both of these have ginseng which adds a boost of antioxidants to the party. These masks fit my face well but weren't drenched in serum, making them a good option for those of you who hate the sheet masks that drip.

Vella Wrinkle Care Facial Mask - Estimated Value $1.93 (Buy a pack of ten for $19.30)

Why does this sheet mask have an iron on it? I'm not sure, but I still enjoyed this mask. I don't really have wrinkle issues at the moment, and any wrinkles I do have will not be solved by a sheet mask. I did think this fit my face well and left it moisturized and plump, and that is really all I look for in a sheet mask.

The Verdict: PinkSeoul is a mask subscription I've realized I can constantly rely on to provide a good assortment of sheet masks with a variety of textures and ingredients. I like that the bonus non-mask item this month was a full-size toner, and overall all of the masks were pleasant to use. Value-wise, I calculated a total value of $50.93, which is much improved over last month's value.

I am a staunch believer that pineapple doesn’t belong on pizza and when I’m not working as a family law attorney I enjoy hiking the Louisiana trails (alligator sightings are a favorite!) or relaxing with Duchess, my cat. I’m a sucker for anything labeled a mystery box and I’ve never met a bath bomb I didn’t like.
