Our info card has all the deets about the colors included with this month’s palette. There are 7 shimmers and 3 mattes this month!
This month’s palette is called “You Better Swach Out.” It’s packaged inside a matching cardboard sleeve.
I am really into this mix of colors. There are plenty of neutrals for someone like me who loves a more natural lid look, but there are also a few really bold shades for experimentation.
Here are the first 5. Top to bottom: Jolly, Elfie, Naughty, Holla Dayz, and Jingle
The shimmers from top to bottom: Wishlist, Hohoho, Chestnuts, Nice, and Mistletoe
Those shimmers tho! I mean, the mattes are great too, but wow. The shimmers are so smooth and pigmented. I am excited to try some looks. Who knows! Maybe I will go a little colorful for some holiday parties this year?

Here is what I came up with. I applied ‘Wishlist’ into my crease, but found it looked a little too orangey on my face. I decided to tone it down with a little bit of ‘Chestnuts.’ I then applied ‘Elfie’ over about 3/4ths of my lid starting from the inside. I blended in some ‘Mistletoe’ from the outside edge in, to meet the green and then blended a little ‘Nice’ into my crease again to smooth everything out. I filled in the area of my brow bone with MAC eyeshadow in ‘Blanc Type.’ Finally, I added a little bit of ‘Holla Dayz’ to my inner corner and along my outer lower lash line for a little brightness.
The Verdict: This ShadowMe palette is one of my favorites! It wasn’t too wild or “out there” but it did have some dramatic and bold shades. The trio of mattes form a pretty day look all by themselves, and you can layer on some of those jewel-toned shimmers for evening glam. As usual, the formula of all the shades was smooth and highly pigmented, and they blend together beautifully! I think the team did a fantastic job of creating a holiday palette that feels super sophisticated, and not at all too “theme-y”.

I love natural/vegan beauty products, Korean skincare, unique jewelry, and weird candies from far away places. When I am not waiting for my next exciting box you can find me painting or taking photographs of interesting people. I never leave home without pug hair somewhere on my shirt and a bold lipstick on my smile.
Really great look!
Thank you Amy! 🙂
Love the look!
Thanks Alice! I feel like I em def getting better with shadows these days.
