Fabletics is a monthly fitness apparel subscription co-founded by Kate Hudson, which includes a plus size line of their fashionable workout gear! You can shop their line in two different ways—either you can shop through their regular store or sign up as a VIP member. The VIP Membership works like this:
- Take the Fabletics quiz, which will let the company know your size, style, and fitness needs.
- Each month, Fabletics will curate looks that match your preferences. According to the website, outfits start at $24.00 for new members. (I’m not sure if “new members” refers to just your first order, though.)
- Shop those looks at 40-50% off what you’d get just paying retail, or skip the month. You have to make your decision by the 5th of the month. If you do neither, the $49.95 monthly membership fee will be saved to your account as a credit, which you can put towards other outfits later.
- As you shop, you’ll also earn points that can be applied to accessories and other cool fitness essentials.
Unlike a lot of other subscription boxes, you are not automatically sent a package each month. You have to go into your account and either decide to add items to your card or skip it. Subscriptions can be canceled at any time, though you do have to call into Fabletics customer service to do it.

The Cost: $49.95 a month. This price goes towards the cost of the outfits curated for you. The cost of outfits varies, but you’ll only be charged for what you choose to actually buy. If you want, you can choose to skip the month, and you won’t be charged. If you don’t spend your $49.95 nor choose to skip, Fabletics will charge you the $49.95 and just save it as store credit for you to use later.

If you don't know I live for animal prints, do you really read my reviews? Truly though, I am a fiend for all that is leopard, cheetah, zebra, or tiger print-- so this month's set was a must! I absolutely love this Mila midi style bra. I feel I have great coverage, fit, and the security of knowing I will be held in well even when bouncing around on the elliptical at the gym! I also appreciate the criss-cross detail on the back as well as the pocket! Yes, this sports bra has a pocket on the back that can fit your smartphone! This set is extremely versatile as well due to being in grey-- I can mix and match this with a variety of my Fabletics sets!

I love Fabletics leggings because they are extremely comfortable and well made-- this pair being no exception. I also appreciate the high-waist cut on these; it ensures my rump won't be exposed during my gym workouts! Not only do I wear my Fabletics leggings while sweating it out on the treadmill, but they are fantastic to wear for running errands or traveling. I often fly in my Fabletics leggings because they are so comfortable. They also help if your legs swell on flights; the compression and stretch on these leggings are just the right amount. Don't be surprised if you see me in the Aldi parking lot with these and an over-sized sweater-- it is my go-to as of late!
Verdict: Fabletics remains my favorite in activewear gear. Why, you ask? The quality and styles truly cannot be beat. I have leggings from them I wear on a regular basis that I have had for two years that look as good as they did when I first received them! I also am glad to see that they are working towards offering more options in their plus line that they offer in straight sizes. I hope eventually to see all styles available in every size across the board, but I truly do hope they expand their sizes even further to a 6x! Competitors like Lane Bryant and Torrid currently are covering that market, but maybe Fabletics will recognize as well that bodacious babes in sizes above a 22/24 also want to sport their amazing products! Active and strong women come in a variety of sizes, just saying! Otherwise, I am consistently pleased with Fabletics' products as well as their VIP Program. The holidays are coming up, so why not join and enjoy some of the killer sales approaching?

Value Breakdown: The Champion outfit is $69.95. If I bought these pieces at a la carte rates without my VIP discount, it would be $119.90! That means I saved $49.95 which is roughly a 42% savings! That’s an awesome value!
