November 2019 BuddhiBox Yoga Box Review

BuddhiBox always includes a card with a mantra or saying on it. On the reverse is this month’s item list. Most of the products they include are cruelty-free, organic, vegan, or more than one!

Also included this month was a pose card.

There is also a card with a link to access The Dial Meditation Method.

Black Sardonyx Puffed Heart Necklace – Listed Value $20.00

This carved heart stone hangs from a black leather cord. It reminds me a lot of the ’90s style necklaces I used to beg my mom for when we would go to arts and crafts pop-up markets. While my taste has changed pretty significantly since then, I could see myself instead stringing this heart on a sterling silver chain for a bit of an upgrade.

Citrine Stones – Listed Value $10.00

I find citrine so charming. It is such a spring shade of yellow and the transparent surface holds loads of interesting imperfections and little rainbows of bent light. Citrine is also closely associated with abundance and creativity.

Hamsa Coin Purse – Listed Value $10.00

This plastic woven pouch is a great size for containing all of your lip balms and smaller makeup items inside your purse or using for change. It features an oversized orange zipper and multicolored hamsa designs on both sides.

Adoratherapy ‘Blissful’ Spray, 10 ml – Retail Value $20.00

This little bottle of room spray has the prettiest packaging, making it utterly giftable, though I think I will hold on to it. The scent is a blend of blood orange and bergamot (two of my faves) with geranium and tangerine. Combined with an evergreen scented candle in my living room the effect is so perfect for the holidays in a citrus spice sort of way. This spray lasts for about 45 minutes in my space.

Crystal Crowe ‘Gratitude’ Candle, 4 oz – Listed Value $12.00

This candle is another scented box addition that is utter holiday perfection! A blend of cinnamon and vanilla that isn’t too “foody,” it is a perfect accent to the scent of pine and firewood. The scent itself is very strong, easily filling up a room! This candle is 100% soy and has garnet and saffron floating inside.

H2Life Gratitude Sticker – Listed Value $2.95

We received the ‘Abundance’ version of this sticker back in March, and since it had some cool info I wanted to reference it again:

Have you ever seen or heard about that study where a scientist named Dr. Masaru Emoto used different kinds of music and tones of voice to affect change within frozen water molecules? If you have time, I highly recommend looking his experiments up, as they are fascinating! Basically, he discovered that our words and intentions can directly affect the physical world closely surrounding us. His water molecules took on different looks if he sang to them or screamed at them, or played them classical music.

The overall idea here is that intent directly changes your surroundings. Our card recommends adding this to your water bottle as a reminder to be thankful, and invite more opportunities for gratitude into your life.

The Verdict: BuddhiBox Yoga Box was a wee bit of a mixed bag for me this month. I really loved the candle, room spray, and citrine stones. The coin pouch was well done, but probably not my style, and the heart necklace is likely something I won’t really wear unless I change it up a little. This box also felt a little light for the $35 price, though there is a pretty sizable digital session included too.

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No, you will receive the January box. Order by the 8th of the month to receive that month’s box.

COUPON: Use code buddhiaddiction to save 10% off all subscriptions!

Value Breakdown: This box costs $34.95 + $5 shipping, which means that each of the 6 items (minus the digital items or the drawstring pouch) in the box has an average cost of $6.66.

I love natural/vegan beauty products, Korean skincare, unique jewelry, and weird candies from far away places. When I am not waiting for my next exciting box you can find me painting or taking photographs of interesting people. I never leave home without pug hair somewhere on my shirt and a bold lipstick on my smile.
