didn’t get there in time, so screwed yet again. Cancelled my sub because im sick of getting box filler. 🙁

All boxes were sold out except for #4, which didn’t really interest me. I usually have a hard time choosing! I swapped and picked the colourpop highlight palette instead

I picked box #4. I am really only interested in three of the things in that box… but I like a lot of LQ’s shade shifters, and that’s the last one of the three newest ones that I haven’t tried. It’s $26 retail, so I’m happy to get just that for $10 (I’m an Ace). I don’t mind eye masks, and I’m interested in the mother of pearl spongy thing– I’ve got some winter skin to combat.
My sister will get the grande lash primer… I’m tired of getting mascaras in boxes but the last time I saw her, she commented about how she loves little travel size mascaras. Boy oh boy do I have a box of stuff for her! LOL.

At 11:50 PT, only Box #4 from the curated boxes was available. I was waffling between choosing that or the Oribe box anyway, so I guess it’s all good!

I forgot too. I remembered by 10pm EST last night. I could choose a sample or swap for points. I was a bit bummed. I chose the swap for points since it was the cost of a box. I just bought the balm and didn’t want to try the other two.

I just chose a few minutes ago, and all options were still available. I wonder if their site is glitching.
I chose box 3 as that was the only one full of products I’d use, and I wasn’t really feeling any of the sample pick items (well, I do love me some mascara, but I already have that one) or the full size pick option.

If you didn’t get the box you wanted definitely recheck. Only one (#3) was marked as sold out when I selected just now (11:15am – EST). Hope that helps!

Wow, just went back and checked, now all four boxes are available. Doesn’t change my selection, still going with #4. Anyone who found sold out boxes earlier might want to go back and check again. Weird!

I reviewed the selections yesterday and settled on my choice (Box 3). I don’t wait for the selection email any more but choose early the morning of. All choices were available at 6:00 am EST.
Since everyone got to choose today, I’m thinking that boxes quickly went out of stock. I wasn’t interested in Box 1 but that seemed to have been a really popular box so that probably sold out first. I don’t know if/when they will have more boxes available to choose from.

Do Aces still get to pick a day early? I just logged on and managed to get box #4, the one I was hoping for, but noticed all the other curated boxes were already out of stock. I’m an ACE and usually have full selection. Seemed odd. I suppose the Oribe box was popular, but not interesting to me, so no biggie. Just wondering if I need to make a note of it for next month.

For some reason there wasn’t an early ACE option this time– choice opened for everyone today. I’m not sure, though, if that’s because of the holiday or if that’s how it’s going to be going forward.

By 8:35am ALL of the curated boxes and sample choices were out of stock. My only choices were swapping for the full sized palette or for points. I’m extremely disappointed in Birchbox and may not be renewing. There are too many other great subscription boxes out there.

I went on the website before 8:30 am (central). Every single curated box was sold out, and I am an Ace. I was very discouraged. I ended up going with the Colourpop palette.

I woke up at 8:30 and logged in and all 4 boxes were still available. Was able to get box 1 no problem. I wonder if they go in and out of stock if people change their minds and choose a different box.

You’re right, earlier when I logged in, every single option was sold out. I rechecked a few minutes ago and the options were all available including box 1.

Well that sucks! I resubbed to get the Oribe box and of course it’s sold out and box 3 : ( also the good glow code isn’t working anymore. Damn it !

I feel bad for those who could not get the box they want. Foolishly I woke up and stayed awake until 5 am just so I could select box one. I am getting too old for these shenanigans. I have more important things to do like sleep since I have a cold and I shouldn’t have to sacrifice my health and sleep just to get the box I want. This is the last month of my subscription and I will not renew.

I agree! I’ve been a subscriber and ace since 2014 and if they are opening choice to all on the same day I most likely will finally cancel. I’m sick and totally forgot and when I logged on all the choices I wanted were sold out. I didn’t realize choice was open for all otherwise I probably would’ve set an alarm for box 1 for my daughter.
