Bespoke Post "Marshmallow" Review

Bespoke Post sent "A Bedtime Tale" mad lib instead of their usual info card this month. In addition to that, they sent cards for their Black Friday Mystery box, and Holiday Gift Shop that has gift stickers on the other side. How cute.

I had a tough time choosing this month's box only because nothing immediately jumped out at me like it usually does. These pillows looked super nice and although I love the memory foam ones I have, I recently started dating someone with the flattest pillows ever seen. What is it with dudes and flat pillows? I swear I am only attracted to men who want to make their life harder. For this reason, I thought I'd gently suggest these pillows to replace his and see what he thought of the idea. I asked him. Kurt was in. We decided to go with the medium firmness a la Goldilocks so that it wasn't too firm or not firm enough.

My pillows arrived vacuum-sealed in plastic for easier shipping. Once I carefully cut them open, they fluffed up pretty quickly.

Bespoke Post, set of 2 - Retail Value $100 ($50/each or $90 if you buy 2)

When the pillows were ready to test, I gave one to Kurt and kept one for myself so we could both give them a spin since we don't always have sleepovers on work nights. Kurt is apparently really picky about his pillows and has a hard time finding the right one. He has back issues and neck problems so he was excited to try something new and see how his neck felt. After night one- he reported that his neck felt great and he had no issues. BUT he certainly needed more time with it. I had a similarly pleasant experience with mine at home even though I'm used to my quite firm memory foam pillows. This one needed a little bit of fluffing for me before turning in, but I didn't see a difference in my neck the next morning either. Night two- Kurt was overjoyed to report that he had another great night's sleep with no problems and no pain. He stated that he was fixing to buy a second one if the third night went well until I said "I'll give you the one I have, silly" so that he had a set. Night three and he was convinced he had found his new favorite pillow! Success! While my experience was not bad by any means, I think it's clear that these pillows are needed elsewhere than my own bed. It'd be hard to pry me from my memory foam but these are certainly better than the Ikea ones I had purchased in the past.

As you can see- there is a good amount of fluff from the profile view of these babies. They're made with earth-friendly eucalyptus fabric (from responsible forests in Austria) and filled with recycled, airblown fiber. Apparently, eucalyptus is cut when harvested instead of uprooted so that it can naturally regenerate, making it more sustainable. The pillows don't contain any down, so they're completely suitable for vegans or those who want to support cruelty-free products.

Verdict: Kurt and I were both happy with the Buffy pillows from Bespoke Post this month. Mainly, I get to sleep on pillows at Kurt's house that aren't super flat and he gets new sustainably made pillows that support his neck a lot better! Win/win! Plus- these will be a lot nicer when we build our little movie-watching nest compared to the old pillows he had.

I got these medium pillows too but I wasn’t impressed. I still need to contact them to see if I can return them. They just didn’t seem as fluffy as the pics and were pretty basic imo.

I ordered two boxes of the pillows. Three were ok and fluffed up pretty well but the fourth seems to be lacking stuffing. Pillows are okay but am still on the hunt for the perfect pillow. I agree these are better for lounging.

I also got these this month and am quite impressed with them. I have been using mine for two weeks and find that while not the perfect head pillow for me, it is great for lounging or using to hug/snuggle with

Thank you! I’ve been eyeing those pillows for my January box and was thinking medium but now am going firm.
