The Build Your Custom Beauty Kit at tarte is coming back! We don't know the exact date yet, but it likely will be launching this week. Based on past launch dates, I'm guessing this Wednesday, 11/6. We'll post again when we have more info. (FYI - this is a One Day Only event)
The Products: 7 Full-size items of your choice. Details still TBD, but last time tarte included a makeup bag, foundation, lip product, eyeliner, mascara, blush, and concealer of your choice!

They didn’t have the ShapeTape Hydrating Foundation in the color I wanted (seriously, no light or medium options? Well, medium tan, but nothing between fair and that). And that to me is the best part of the deal, getting the foundation with everything else for so cheap. So a nope for me!

I got lucky last time & actually wanted something from pretty much ever category except the mascara. It would be nice if this one works out for me, too! I love that Tarte makes minty lip products vs the fake vanilla that MAC made so popular.

It’s live. They have loose and pressed powder as options. They are in different categories so you can choose both.

I’ve never gotten this before as I’m not the biggest fan of tarte and I’m on product overload, but I like that they haven’t raised the price the last couple years if I’m remembering right.

I looked it up after you posted this comment. Ah, that woman. I bet she applied that makeup to her face with a synthetic brush.

I don’t know that there’s always something wrong with synthetic but for companies to think its okay to label things to confuse the customer is not okay. Especially when its a problem that goes into other sectors. American spirit cigarettes, which are about $7 a carton were marketed as natural, and many people bought them, thinking they were less toxic, when in reality they’re just as bad as any other cigarette. That’s very dangerous marketing. i knew tarte wasn’t natural, but I’m not necessarily concerned with that. For people who do care, they deserve not to be mislead with tricky advertising.

May I ask why? The ingredients are still the same and listed on packaging?

What what happened?

Tarte advertised as “all natural” when it includes synthetic ingredients. However, the FDA states “FDA has not defined the term “natural” and has not established a regulatory definition for this term in cosmetic labeling.” This is why it’s a class action lawsuit – companies are likely to pay them off to just get them to go away. It would not win in criminal court.
