Nope. These items I have seen on Zulily at heavily discounted prices. You aren’t getting a value with this box if you can buy each piece online at a discount.

Please find either traditional timeless decor to review or modern decor instead of this, please.
The chicken coop, shiplap, Mason jar stuff needs to go to a certain lady in Waco, TX, because she’s to blame for its very unfortunate proliferation.

Haha my thoughts exactly. I dislike all that shabby chic stuff–I’m so tired of seeing it. It screams basic b.

Nope. This is the tackiest decorating trend since the 70’s earth tones.

There is no reason to promote a box of tacky doo dads for those who don’t know how to create a luxurious classy home.

I would gladly read the review but would never purchase a box. I’m quite particular about my home design and color themes.

I’m willing to gamble on beauty boxes and try things that I may have normally not been drawn to, but when it comes to home decor, I really want to choose those items myself. These ‘home’ boxes are like $50-60/mo. for items that I don’t really like and wouldn’t know what to do with. All of these home decor boxes on Cratejoy look like the same type of stuff too–something with a ‘live, laugh, love” phrase, something ‘stuffed,” a candle, a throw.

No. The farmhouse look is too overdone. So boring. I can’t even antique shop without seeing multiple booths of “shabby” painted furniture and rustic signs.

No. These type of boxes only appeal to a small group of people and even if they are appealing the value for this box just isn’t there. It’s overpriced for what is in it and most won’t take a chance on getting tacky items. Boxes like this need to give lots of choices and allow to cancel before sending out.

this looks very generic and un-curated for the price point, assuming the box pictured is one of their past boxes. I feel you could just Google “rustic decor” and get a much more interesting selection for the money.

What is that crazy looking fuzzy pink thing ?

LOL! I knew there was something missing in my home decor scheme!

The mudpie vase and cupcake stand are pieces I’ve seen at Tuesday Morning for about 6.99 and 9.99 for a 4 pack. Similar pieces to the two word arts are around 5.99. Maybe the value is in the rest of that box, but I’m not seeing it personally.

I agree with the above commenter, I wish there were more modern boxes, or at least, more variety. I’m so tired of the “farmhouse” aesthetic.

I agree. I don’t see the value here at all. This stuff looks like I could pick up at TjMaxx for less than $20. I too would like to see something other than farmhouse. Kudos to those that can use that, my mom LOVES it, but I don’t like the farmhouse aesthetic.

Yes! Would love to see this one and some other new home decor boxes reviewed (have seen a few others posted in the last month under “should we review it?”). I like the price point of this one and some of the other newer ones. Several of the home decor boxes that have been reviewed consistently are a higher price point and I don’t think I’m willing to gamble $100+ on home decor.

This one at $60 is interesting to me. One thing I wish existed was something more like Bespoke Post but for home decor where you would get just a few items or one hero item and then some smaller items for an under $50 price point. Bespoke Post has done several home decor boxes in the past and I’ve bought almost all of them, but they are a little more my husbands style than mine (and thus the items end up primarily in his spaces).

A choice of boxes like Bespoke Post but with a home decor spin, with fewer but nicer items (than the 4, 5, 6, or even 8-10 items that a lot of the home decor boxes do) would be great!! When it comes to home decor, it takes up a lot of space so fewer, nicer things are much preferred!!!

There was a box that used to exist, Parabo Box, that took one of your Insta photos and turned it into a home decor item and then added a few other well curated home decor items that corresponded to the photo item and I miss that box so much!!!! It was clean design but not as industrial/masculine as BP, it was fewer nicer items, and the option of having one item customized with one of your photos just really put it over the top!!! I still have nearly every item I got in Parabo Box in use in my house (as in not put away in basement storage with many other decor items received in sub boxes).

Anyone know a box like this??? Like Parabo or having some parts of this, like similar curation, lower price point in this $40-60 range, and fewer nicer items?

I wish I had a suggestion for something similar to Parabo! They were AMAZING! There are a lot of really cool Decor boxes I’ve seen over the last couple years with different subscription models (choose all your items under x amount of dollars is one of them) some used to be reviewed here, but the comments were very similar to those under this post. To be honest, I can’t imagine taking on the task of reviewing a box knowing full well the cost, aesthetic and ability to find all the same items at Dollar Tree/TJ Maxx/AliExpress etc. will make up the majority of the comments received. I wish I could remember their names at the moment, but I do know I found a lot of them through Pinterest & going down rabbit holes of old reviews. Hope that Helps!

I would pass on this. If I paid $60 for that box, in the picture, I’d be mad. Overpriced.

Yes, please. I’m trying to decorate my new place in a rustic, farmhouse theme so this looks great!

Jody

No thanks. I would not spend that a month for home decor.

Yes!

Liz- any more modern home decor boxes you could review? Most are the rustic farm type look but I really want a more modern subscription box.
