This decadent treat is made with high-quality fats from organic coconut, almonds, and cocoa. Chocolate lovers will love these crunchy cacao nibs filled with chocolate ganache filling and sweetened with monk fruit and organic erythritol.

Keto Krate Review October 2019 - Coconut Bites Plated Top

My favorite snack in this month’s box, these coconut bites are truly a decadent treat! The texture, between the crunchy coconut and smooth ganache, is perfect. The ganache filling is rich and tasty. You would not believe these treats are keto-friendly and 100% plant-based.

Keto Krate Review October 2019 - Pumpkin Bar Front TopKeto Krate Review October 2019 - Pumpkin Bar Back Top

Stoka Bar in Pumpkin Spice, 1.8 oz – Listed Value $2.99 (Buy a 12 count box for $29.99)

Fat 22g | Net Carbs 4g | Taste Score: 5/10

Just in time for fall, this recently reformulated pumpkin spice bar is made with hints of cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves.

Keto Krate Review October 2019 - Pumpkin Bar Plated Top

This bar is a bit overwhelming! I expected a hint of spice, but the spice is too much– like licking a cinnamon stick. If you love bold flavors, this might be the bar for you!

Keto Krate Review October 2019 - Pro Puffs Front TopKeto Krate Review October 2019 - Pro Puffs Back Top

Pro-Puffs in Chocolate, 1.58 oz – Retail Value $3.99

Fat 9g | Net Carbs 5g | Taste Score: 8/10

These chocolate puffs will satisfy your craving for sweet and crunchy cereal. They can be eaten on their own, with milk, or mixed in with yogurt, peanut butter, or oatmeal.

Keto Krate Review October 2019 - Pro Puffs Plated Top

My youngest kid didn’t care for these but me, my daughter, and hubby liked them. The chocolate flavor is rich and the puffs are nice and crunchy. It's a guilt-free, tasty, and not too sweet snack that I enjoyed.

Nush Carrot Spice Cake, 2.1 oz – Listed Value $3.00 (Buy a 6 pack for $17.94)

Fat 14g | Net Carbs 3g | Taste Score: 8/10

Nush is the go-to brand for keto-friendly cakes. This carrot spice cake, made with organic flax and coconut oil, is perfect for fall.

Keto Krate Review October 2019 - Carrot Cake Plated Top

My Nush reviews are all over the place. Some flavors I love and other flavors I’m not a fan. I’m adding this one to the love pile! The cake is not as sweet as I would like but the spices and the fresh walnuts amp up the taste and the texture. This is a good one!

Keto Krate Review October 2019 - Snack Mix Front TopKeto Krate Review October 2019 - Snack Mix Back Top

Keto Farms Keto Snack Mix in Strawberry Gouda, 1.02 oz – Listed Value $3.99 (Buy a 3-pack of 3.34 oz bags for $19.97)

Fat 13g | Net Carbs 3g | Taste Score: 8/10

This snack is made with salted almonds and pecans paired with crunchy gouda and strawberries. It's made with all-natural ingredients and has the perfect Keto macros.

Keto Krate Review October 2019 - Snack Mix Plated Top

I’ve had this snack before in a previous box. It's an awesome mix of textures and tastes. The sweetness of the dried strawberries, salty nuts, and savory gouda is an impressive combination. My only complaint is the super small portion. For $4.00, you barely get a handful.

Keto Krate Review October 2019 - Lemonade Front TopKeto Krate Review October 2019 - Lemonade Back Top

Theory of Kombucha Energy Powdered Drink Mix in Raspberry Lemonade, 0.24 oz – Listed Value $2.50 (Buy a box of 12 for $19.99)

Fat 0g | Net Carbs 1g | Taste Score: 9/10

Theory of Kombucha makes on-the-go kombucha (fermented tea) packed with probiotics and vitamins. Included in this month's box is this raspberry lemonade flavor with the detoxifying properties of apple cider vinegar.

Keto Krate Review October 2019 - Lemonade Plated Front

This tea wasn't anything like the kombucha I'm accustomed to buying at the grocery store in glass jars. It was, however, delicious and refreshing. I love the tartness of the lemonade. The caffeine and probiotics were a bonus.

Keto Krate Review October 2019 - Almond Butter Bar Front TopKeto Krate Review October 2019 - Almond Butter Bar Back Top

Ketologie Keto Bar in Chocolate Almond Butter, 1.83 oz – Listed Value $3.29 (Buy a 12-pack for $41.88, currently on sale now for $39.99)

Fat 17g | Net Carbs 3g | Taste Score: 8/10

Ketologie is best known for their shakes but recently announced the launch of keto bars. These high-fat bars are packed with almonds, cashews, and coconut oil and protein from grass-fed whey and collagen protein.

Keto Krate Review October 2019 - Almond Butter Bar Plated Top

I’ll admit that I was 100% sure that I would hate this bar. I’d tried the Ketologie shakes and couldn’t stomach it! These bars represent an impressive comeback! The bar has the texture of a chocolate candy bar, is full of almonds and cashews, and is tasty. This is coming from a person who cringes at the words "whey protein"!

Keto Krate Review October 2019 - Turmeric Drink Front TopKeto Krate Review October 2019 - Turmeric Drink Back Top

Primal Kitchen Golden Turmeric Collagen Peptide Drink Mix, 0.52 oz – Listed Value $2.91 (Buy a full size 13.7 oz for $39.99)

Fat 2.5g | Net Carbs 2g | Taste Score: 8/10

This keto-friendly collagen fueled drink can be blended with milk, coffee, or smoothies. The collagen supports healthy hair, skin, and nails. The turmeric, cardamom, black pepper, cinnamon, and nutmeg blend of flavors are perfect for fall.

Keto Krate Review October 2019 - Turmeric Drink Plated Top

I love this brand! I have several Primal Kitchen keto-friendly products. I added cold brew coffee and cream to this turmeric drink mix, and it was pretty tasty. It’s like a keto-friendly pumpkin spiced latte. A did try a little bit of the turmeric drink mix with just water and it was not for me. So, depending on how you make it, you may or may not enjoy this drink mix, but it tastes great in coffee.

Keto Krate Review October 2019 - Quevos Chips Front TopKeto Krate Review October 2019 - Quevos Chips Back Top

Quevos in Sour Cream & Onion Flavor, 1.1 oz – Listed Value $3.00 (Buy a 6-pack for $17.99)

Fat 8g | Net Carbs 3g | Taste Score: 6/10

These bold and savory egg white chips are an awesome substitute for sour cream and onion chips. They're keto-friendly and a great source of protein and fiber.

Keto Krate Review October 2019 - Quevos Chips Plated Top

The flavor of these egg white chips is perfect! On first taste, I was wowed. However, the texture quickly goes dry and grainy as the flavor washes away. If not for the gritty texture, these would be a hit.

Keto Krate Review October 2019 - Noodles Front TopKeto Krate Review October 2019 - Noodles Back Top

Newdles Natural Konjac Meal in Chicken Flavor, 12.3 oz – Retail Value $5.69

Fat 7g | Net Carbs 4g | Taste Score: 9/10

These noodles are made from a vegetable called konjac and are sure to satisfy your pasta craving. Newdles offers five different flavors – tomato, pickled cabbage, sour and spiced, seafood, and this chicken flavor.

Keto Krate Review October 2019 - Noodles Plated 1 TopKeto Krate Review October 2019 - Noodles Plated 2 Top

I haven't found a carb substitute better than these Newdles! If you like firm and thick noodles, like chow mein, you may like these. The texture is a bit off as the noodles are firm and slick but it's hardly noticeable when prepared correctly. The seasoning packets create a super flavorful and slightly spicy broth. Less than 100 calories, keto-friendly, flavorful, and a generous portion – these are a winner!

Keto Krate Review October 2019 - Bacon Stick Front TopKeto Krate Review October 2019 - Bacon Stick Back Top

Circle B Ranch Big John’s Hickory Smoked Snack Stick, 1 oz – Retail Value $1.50

Fat 8g | Net Carbs 0g | Taste Score: 9/10

Family-run Circle B Ranch raises their hogs sustainability with no added hormones or unnecessary antibiotics. They have a wide variety of pork products including these bacon snack sticks.

Keto Krate Review October 2019 - Bacon Stick Plated Top

So good! The casing of this bacon stick has a nice “pop” when you bite into it. It was fresh and seasoned just right with a hint of sweetness. I want more of these!

Keto Krate Review October 2019 - Walnuts Front TopKeto Krate Review October 2019 - Walnuts Back Top

Crazy Go Nuts in Garlic Parmesan, 1.25 oz – Listed Value $1.99 (Buy a 12 pack for $23.99)

Fat 22g | Net Carbs 4g | Taste Score: 7/10

Walnuts are superfoods packed with omega-3s and antioxidants. Crazy Go Nuts offers 9 different flavors including this garlic parmesan flavor. They can be eaten on their own, on top salads or added to casseroles.

Keto Krate Review October 2019 - Walnuts Plated Top

This snack didn't wow me. I like walnuts, garlic, and parmesan but the taste was a little too subdued. It wasn't great but also not bad. I think it's because I love crunchy nuts and these were softer in texture.

Keto Krate Review October 2019 - Pork Rinds Front TopKeto Krate Review October 2019 - Pork Rinds Back Top

Southern Recipe Small Batch Pork Rinds in Sea Salt & Cracked Black Pepper, 0.875 oz – Listed Value $1.50 (Buy a 6-pack of full-size 4 oz bags for $36.99)

Fat 8g | Net Carbs 1g | Taste Score: 10/10

Pork rinds are a keto staple! Southern Recipe makes small-batch pork rinds with bold flavors like this sea salt and cracked black pepper pork rinds.

Keto Krate Review October 2019 - Pork Rinds Plated Top

We love this brand! The kids even enjoy them. Southern Recipe Pork Rinds are a staple in our household. They make a variety of flavors and I’ve enjoyed all the ones I tried.

The Verdict: On the keto diet, one of my biggest challenges is finding healthy and keto-friendly snacks to hold me over between meals. This box had some great snacks that were a good mix of sweet, salty, and savory. I also noticed a theme with fall-flavored snacks.

The Revol Snax coconut bites were divine and my favorite snack in this month's box. They are so delicious! I was most surprised at how much I liked both the Keto Bar and the Newdles. I’d counted them out before even trying them. My least favorites were the Quevos egg white chips and the Crazy Go Nuts soft walnuts. Of the two drinks in this month’s box, I liked the Kombucha energy drink the best. Overall, this was another great Keto Krate!

I’ve always skipped over these reviews and been passionately and vocally anti-keto, however due to some health issues recently, I was unexpectedly forced to literally go Keto over night with no preparation or warning. I can no longer have grains, milk or sugar. I’ve found several websites and substitutes and become obsessed with menu and meal prep. It’s been a bitter pill to swallow for someone who was always a health nut anyway. I think I’m going to try this for a few months to get introduced to some new companies and varieties even though it is quite pricey.

Hi Taren, sorry to hear about your health concerns. Keto is challenging enough without been forced into it. These boxes help a lot of you are a snack and crave small treats in between meals. With Keto, I found that I become less hungry over time which helps with the snacking but sometimes (and especially during that PMS), I NEED a snack and I feel better when it’s these types of snacks vs. the vending machine.

Honestly you really dont need snacks once you adjust to being grain and sugar free, and low carb.

Sometimes I find I want something snackish, and I’ll make spiced candied nuts with erythritol. Or almond flour crackers.

My favorite recipe website is gnomgnom. Her recipes are magical! She even has a yeast bread which is delicious, and a nice thing to make when you are transitioning away from a traditional diet.

Ann, I do Low Carb rather than Keto, primarily for reasons what it’s less judgmental like when you say that I don’t need snacks. It’s not about craving. I am an adult and I will decide if I need a snack that fits my lifestyle. So, that’s why many follow low carb as it is more inclusive and can include keto items. I think I will sign up.

Anne, I sometimes struggle with the erythritol and the sometimes minty sensation. Any tips??
