Gwynnie Bee October 2019 Review
This review is for each of the three-at-a-time items I received October 5th, 2019:
Chocolate Chip Confetti Dot Mindy Dress by Leota, Size 2x — Retail Value $88
I am well acquainted with the classic, yet form-fitting Leota brand. I am endlessly impressed by the fit and styles of their pieces, this dress being no exception. Though I generally avoid browns and tans, I absolutely love this dress. It is chic and versatile. The dress's fabric has ample stretch and is immensely comfortable. This is a dress you can pack without having to worry about steaming, or heck-- just wear it on the plane because it is perfect for traveling. The fabric is light enough for spring and summer, but with tights and a cardigan can transform into a fall/winter staple as well. I wore this to the office one day with a bulky rust cardigan with the exact same loafer mules pictured. The end result was an unintentional, but great Elaine Benes from Seinfeld look! This piece will be ideal for family gatherings such as Thanksgiving coming up!
Twilight Dot Mindy Midi Dress by Leota, Size 2x — Retail Value $88
Now, if you thought you liked the first Leota dress-- well, here's the same one in a navy shade! I had no idea when I closeted these two dresses that they were the exact same style and cut, just different color schemes. What a pleasant surprise! Like I said about its fraternal twin-- this dress is adorable on, has a great fit, and is adaptable enough to wear all year long. I styled this piece with open toe black mules and a faux-leather biker jacket, but imagine this with black tights, ankle booties, and a lush and chunky knit tan or off white sweater! What a killer fall look!
Lace Yellow Top by Pleione, Size 2x — Retail Value $62
I absolutely adore black and gold color combinations, so I knew I had to closet this blouse. The bright, golden lace top has a black rope tassel detail and accents at the neck and along the flutter sleeves. In theory, this top is something I would like for not only the color and style, but I actually wasn't fond of how it looked on me. I preferred it tucked in, but I still was not keen on it on me. No biggie, these things happen! Though I didn't like this top on myself, I know it will look great on others. Think of this of top with casual black skinny leg jeans, white sneakers, and blazer or wide-legged dress pants and a blazer at the office! The fabric has ample stretch making this top incredibly comfortable and stylish!
Verdict: I love, love, love Gwynnie Bee! I sound like a broken record, but I absolutely love the ability to rent pieces through Gwynnie Bee without the commitment to buy! This allows me to try out new trends and have items for when my weight fluctuates as well. Gwynnie Bee is also immensely convenient. They offer free returns and dry cleaning! I love not having to worry about laundering clothes; I can just toss my worn pieces and send them on their way back! This is perfect for someone as busy as me working various jobs and working on loads of projects. I also love the Gwynnie Bee Outlet where you can buy previous rental pieces at a low discounted rate! I swear, what isn't there to love about Gwynnie Bee, am I right?

Value Breakdown: Gwynnie Bee’s costs range depending on your subscription and how many items you are sent at a time. I have the $95 three-item-at-a-time plan. This includes free shipping and returns. I can get as many pieces as I like monthly, as long as I return each item first. I got three items this month. The three items total up to $238, which is $143 more than my monthly subscription fee! That is a heck of a value, but imagine if had I returned these pieces and received even more! Wow!
