Goddess Provisions “Sacred Sensuality” October 2019 Review

Here’s the info card with the theme and product list for the month. The theme is “Sacred Sensuality.” Ooooh!

Let’s dive in!

SoapyLayne Breast Vitality Oil, 2 fl oz – Retail Value $26.00

I like body oils, especially in the winter months. They feel so luxurious, especially when warmed between palms! This oil is specifically meant for the breast area and is infused with ingredients that are meant to pamper and benefit this delicate area of the body:

This massage oil contains beneficial botanical ingredients which was created with intention to maintain healthy breast tissue and aide in lymphatic drainage. Breast massages are wonderful practice that balances hormones, boosts oxytocin and reduces physical and emotional tension around the heart. This oil is infused with bloodstone which is a powerhouse stone for restoring and rebuilding the mind and body.

I also think oils like this make breast examinations much easier and enjoyable, and anything that makes this important routine more pleasant is A+ in my book. I also must admit that I love the herbal scent.

Sacred Lotus Yoni Steam Sensual Blend, 0.5 fl oz – Listed Value $10.00

Ok, so this steam is meant for your more delicate bits, and if the idea of hovering over a steaming bowl of herbs is something that makes you blush, I recommend indulging in this when you are home alone. Basically, you add this beautifully fragrant blend of herbs to hot water, adjust yourself into a comfortable space/position above it, and wrap your waist with a blanket to trap all of the steam. It was certainly an interesting ritual! Said to promote the overall health and healing of your ‘yoni’, it isn’t something I see adding to my schedule permanently, but it totally fits into the theme of this month and was a very unique experience.

Anima Mundi Herbals Euphoria Elixir, 1 fl oz – Estimated Value $11.00 (Buy 2 fl oz for $21.99)

This little bottle holds an elixir made of traditional aphrodisiac herbs such as damiana and jasmine. Add a spoonful to your water or tea and sip. It has a pleasant and slightly sweet herbal flavor and scent. I don’t know if this directly influenced my levels of desire, but for a spoonful here and there I am willing to experiment.

MONQ Personal Essential Oil Diffuser – Retail Value $20.00

I had no idea how to use this thing at first but Marne explained you simply inhale on one end. I have never vaped anything! A vapor scented of chocolate, woods, and davana filled my mouth. I then exhaled it through my nose since it specifically says not to inhale into your lungs. Other than the coolness factor (the crystal end lights up!) I am not sure what I think of this but I do find myself wanting to try other flavors!

Wild Awake Shakti Pleasure Oil, 2 fl oz – Retail Value $28.00

This was a no-go for me, because I really don’t like food flavored lubes and I can’t stand chocolate mint anything. If you do though, you will like this coconut oil-based lubricant that is infused with aphrodisiac herbs!

Vital You Awaken to Sensation Bath Bomb – Listed Value $7.00

This mini bath bomb smells mostly of ylang ylang to me, which I love. It is one of those oils that I do find really sexy, especially when combined with jasmine. This bomb is on the smaller side, so I recommend supplementing with a few drops of your fave bath oil. As it dissolved, petals wander all over your bath and you slowly free a quartz crystal.

Essential Rose Life Indulge Roll-On, 0.34 fl oz – Retail Value $26.00

I love an essential oil roll-on and wow does this one smell amazing. It has the strong floral of rose petals mixed with spicy pepper. There are also notes of ginger and vetiver, which make this blend feel so sexy and sophisticated. It is also much stronger than many other blends I have, meaning I use just a little bit for loads of scent!

Shiva Lingam Stone – Listed Value $4.00

This stone reminds me so much of Indian Jones and the Temple of Doom. I mean, maybe that isn’t that sexy, but it does have Harrison Ford in it, so, you be the judge. 😉

The Verdict: This Goddess Provisions box was certainly sensual! I thought the assortment of items was really fun and well done and beautifully curated. It was also a wonderfully holistic-leaning box filled with items featuring traditional herbal remedies for a sensual boost. With a partner or solo, there is a lot to love in this box!

I love natural/vegan beauty products, Korean skincare, unique jewelry, and weird candies from far away places. When I am not waiting for my next exciting box you can find me painting or taking photographs of interesting people. I never leave home without pug hair somewhere on my shirt and a bold lipstick on my smile.

  1. My yoni said “no thanks” to that steam bath. Lol!

  2. The photos of the stone look like a football or an oddly colored potato. 🙂

  3. I have been a subscriber for a few months. The boxes I received for the first three months were wonderful. However, this October box and the one I received this month are not the best in my opinion. I don’t use chocolate oils even for intimate moments nor would I vape or ingest foreign substances in my drinks. My roll-on does not work well. I need to really work with it to get any juice. Does the one you received work well? I had to read about yoni steam treatments because they were new to me, and after inquiring, my gyno does not recommend them. The stone is unique, which I appreciate. BTW, the November Yogi Surprise box hit it out of the park. Of course subscription boxes can be hit or miss, based on the subscriber’s personal preferences, but I found Yogi Surprise to be fairly consistent in its offerings. I hope that December’s box from Goddess Provisions is a winner. 🙂

  4. This looks like a great box💙

  5. “Shiva Lingams represent the beginning of all creation and are physical manifestations of divine male and female energies. They embody the masculine energies through their solid oval shapes and the feminine through their many unique patterns. It is through this formation that they are able to link to the force of creation, just as humans can physically birth new life through connection of the male and female bodies. Shiva Lingam aids in understanding polaric energies such as male/female, light/dark, and spiritual/physical so that one may see the one unifying force of God that exists behind them. This helps one to heal and bring each polarity together within the self so they may work in harmony, bringing one to a state of self acceptance as well as acceptance of the differences in others and in all of creation.”

    • And yes Megan, it does reference Indiana Jones!
